Cute, small coffee shop right in the center of a shopping complex. Parking is easy in the complex and out on the street.
There are a lot of options for drinks and smaller food items. After asking the barista for what's popular, I went with an iced white chocolate toffee latte (I prefer sweeter coffee drinks) and it was different but delicious!
The only thing is their drinks are a but pricy for the sizes. There small is basically an extra small compared to average coffee cup sizes. So keep that in mind when picking your size!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John H.San Luis Obispo, CA11422Mar 3, 2021
I travel a lot, inspite of the Covid, and I make a point of stopping here when I pass through. I really like the location and ambiance. I enjoy meeting customers and clients at this location because its easy to find, easy to meet and the other customers are interesting and engaging.
I was told they will be closing and will be replaced by a pour over coffee shop. That's unfortunate since Solana Beach does not require another overpriced coffee shop.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 3006122160Nov 17, 2020
Ok place, good location. A few attempts in ordering a latter resulting in just getting coffee, lattes are just bland and burnt tasting. There are several breakfast items that ive tried in the past and its just something to kill your hunger, nothing really stood out to highlight. They do have a few good freshly baked pastries on display in the mornings. I would go elsewhere for a good and satisfying breakfast sandwich

Stopped by today to get a bite to eat. Decided on the Beach Walk turkey sandwich. It was excellent! I like to give my business to hard working shops like this one. They always provide quality drinks and fresh food. Never disappointed here. Thank you!!!

I went the other day to find out it is shut down. Very sad because I was really wanting the red white and bagel.

This place, no doubt, makes you feel at home. The baristas are so friendly and inviting. They are authentic and make you want to stay there longer. Also, their iced coffee and acai bowls are amazing.

Really like this place for breakfast. I get the "BAT" on jalapeno cheddar bagel. Boom. Winner! The coffee is great. Pastries were good. Try lemon poppyseed. My fav drink is hammerhead. Service is great and friendly. Nice menu. Cute and happy place. Will return. Worthy stop.
Didn't try smoothies but seemed popular.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I am finally getting around to writing this review after a couple months. I went in after a yoga class and ordered a PB, banana and chocolate smoothie. It sounded delicious and I was really hungry. There was no one in front of me in line when I arrived. I ordered, sat down to wait and a few people started showing up to order. I waited as other people after me got their food and smoothies. I wasn't sure why but I waited patiently. It was probably 20 minutes later, when the woman who took my order brought me my smoothie and apologized for the delay saying that she just forgot to make it. I didn't really complain at the time and maybe I should have because 20 minutes for a smoothie seems a little long. But she didn't offer any sort of consolation, just "sorry I forgot." It was a little off putting.
Then as I was walking to my car, I tasted it and I swear it did not have chocolate in it. I'm 98% sure it was just PB and banana. It was still good, but it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't want to deal with going back and having to wait longer. So I left with 2/3 of my smoothie.
I may give this place another chance since it is in my neighborhood. But I am not going to be singing its praises anytime soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 7, 2014
This coffee company is independently owned, and they not only serve great coffee and tea, but they make some great grubs, such as bagels, breakfast burritos, pastries, and sandwiches. I tried some of the Tea Au Lait and one of their oatmeal bars filled with a acai preserve.
The tea was great with just he right amount of steamed milk with a good tea flavor. A very relaxing tea to drink. The oatmeal bar was bliss with just enough sweetness to please the palate, but with enough sense that you are eating something healthy. Service was spot on by the two young ladies running the shop and were quite the friendly pair.
This place is definitely very popular with the locals and rightfully so. They offer WiFi, some comfortable seating indoors and have a nice outside patio (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-solana-beach-coffee-company-solana-beach?select=4Xw_rC62MZGh5A9JzPYxnw#pRUqP6Hv_RfV8lgl_IwSmw). You are allowed to bring leached dogs onto the patio.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
