The people at the shop are nice and friendly with talent. The Shop has a cool punk look of plastering of pop art concert posters and pages of magazines on the wall.

They can do more of a traditional look, fun, punk, fashionable. They are a well rounded to every look and have clients of  all ages from Grandma,Dad and the kids,The buisness man to  the punk/emo kids.

I always been happy with their work and I  only go to the shop now. once I got my haircut at a place charge $ 80 at the mall but the shop is cooler, dose better job and only will set you back about  $20.

Great, stylish cuts for a very reasonable price. Staff is super friendly. Love all the pictures on the walls...looking at hot guys (or girls if you like) while waiting/getting your hair washed/cut :)

Unfortunately place was pretty hit or miss. To be fair, majority of times I have been here I got a good cut at pretty reasonable price. However, after hitting a few VERY busy times (weekend afternoons) I started coming at less traditional hours to get in and out quick. They seem to have a makeshift staff. I got a very bad cut there last time by a gal I had never seen work there before. I probably won't go back unfortunately, but was fairly happy up to that point.

Kirkland's version of Rudy's.  Same idea, but with less risque reading materials and no tattoos or facial peircings on the staff.

The pregnant Korean women cutting my hair and I had some issues.  She asked if sh eshould use a #2 clipper.  I said no, to use a #4.  She said the #4 wouldn't take anything off.  Huh?  My last haircut was with a #4, so either her clippers were wrong or my hair hadn't grown at all the last month.  It ended up way shorter than I like and did not look good, but fortunately it grew out in a couple weeks.

We seemed to have trouble making conversation too.  She brought up the subject fo dancing and Pioneer Square.  I said I danced at Tiki Bob's once, and it was "a dirty, dirty place filled with dirty, dirty, dirty people".  Not even a crack.  She asked if I was riding home with the blonde girl, and if she was my girlfriend.  I said no, she wasn't, but I was stalking her and planned to ride home by laying upside-down on skateboard and clinging to the underside of her car.  Nothing.  The girls at Rudy's certainly would have given me some credit, or maybe shaved an insult in the back of my head for being such a smartass.

I liked this place a lot.  They do good short haircuts for girls (that's all I had and I was the only girl in that day) and the one in Kirkland definitely listens to all their customers.  The day I went, there were something like 5 regulars. They were all extremely picky and got exactly what they wanted. I got a cute fun hair cut and my boyfriend got a great style that actually looks good with his bone structure. It was the first time anyone listened to what he needed. I was pleased and would totally go back.

My wife went to The Shop on Kirkland Ave to simply get her hair bleached (NOT COLORED, JUST BLEACHED) and was told it would cost $10.50. She signed a receipt that said $10.50 but was told the machine was then "out of paper" and she couldn't get a receipt for herself. She asked for a handwritten one and was told they didnt have any paper, so she made the mistake of giving up. We were very surprised when the credit card bill came back at $105! The manager called us back and insisted she had received a "full foil", which she hadn't, and said he had never heard of the person Ashley who performed the hair treatment. He said all his employees have worked there for over 2 years even though Ashley had only claimed 6 months. He said my wife spent 2 hours there when she only spent 45 minutes.  He even claimed he had a signed receipt for the $105 charge. Of course since we didn't get a receipt, we have nothing defend against his claim with.  He was rude to my wife and I, and actually used vulgar insults on the phone. Needless to say we have disputed the charge and complained to the BBB. We were perfectly willing to pay for the correct bleach service.  The lesson to be learned is always demand a receipt, no matter the amount, no matter their excuses!  Or, use cash.

I started getting my hair cut here four months ago and I couldn't be happier.  So far I've had two different stylists who both did a great job.  For $18 it is totally worth it.

The shop is tight, some times a hot girl might cut your hair.  And its cheap.
