I wish I knew about them sooner.
I spent four days work and pocket-cash trying to unload dolls on eBay I didn't want in closet from my mother-in-law for spit-change in return. If I knew then what I do now, I'd probably be thousands $ richer.
Professional, friendly (to point will tell you can't sell it don't waste your time/money), cut is totally fair (yours is higher more it fetches; but at same time they want THEIRS so it's not like they're trying to sell low), no upfront cost.
No upfront cost. Lemme repeat that. Strictly commission. So long as you drop it off, rather than ask for a pickup (pickup service is charged, but I think that's fair).
I just got off phone with them (humans answer), trying to dump closet of good "junk". Not first time customer, but if this is what you need to do...
YOU WANT THEM! They WILL take care of you. No hassles, no fuss, good advice, no upfront money (repeat on purpose; they only take cut of sale), real people on phone, constant update status so you know they didn't just steal your stuff...
I can hardly believe this is an eBay-related company. I'd think them scum normally, but I don't in this case.
Payment is like three days close of sale; they'll update you how it's going whole time. THEY ROCK!

Wow...
I was going to use the Sellery to put some items up on Ebay. I was looking to make about 800 bucks total on the sale.
But after taking the Sellery commission?
I make 480 dollars! Wow... they take nearly 50%. I understand that they need to make some money... but 50%?! What?! Where did they get that number from? Why would anyone take an item worth a decent amount of money and end up with half? You're almost better off going to a pawn shop.
You are way better off selling this stuff yourself. Craiglist will give you a better price than 50%
They get an extra star because they seemed nice... and they give you their pricing on the website. They don't try and hide their commission, so, if you don't care about 50% commission this seems like a fine place to sell an item. -

My husband and I have used the Sellery service a couple of times for selling cameras, computers, electronic stuff and have been very pleased with the service. A great way of unloading stuff you no longer use. service is prompt, courteous, payment quick.
