1 review for The San Francisco Improv Alliance
The San Francisco Improv Alliance is a performance, production and resource for all things Improvisational Comedy in the Bay Area.
Started in June of 2005 the Alliance has produced two San Francisco Improv Festivals (the founder also produced the first two with the SFIC) Numerous improv ensembles including Rover Hendrix, Oui Be Negroes, Revolving Madness and SPF7, and has booked improvisational actors through the SFIA Talent Pool for folks like Conan O'Brien, Major League Baseball, Linksys, and a lot of film and television work!
The also put out a weekly newsletter on all things improv comedy in the Bay Area (not just SFIA produced stuff, but *everyone's stuff* as long as they ask? They get in the newsletter)
The SFIA's new and permanent home is located at The Garage, 975 Howard Street in San Francisco.
I'm the owner and the producer. Of course I'm biased. But I will take the chance on letting folks rate what we do to make what we do better
