My parents, boyfriend, and I went on the last weekend the Magna Carta was still on display. Juxtaposing seeing a surviving copy of the historic document with such other artifacts as a slice of the Berlin Wall and Air Force One really made for a rather impressive day at a museum.
The place was packed with older conservatives, some of them rather flatulent (no exaggeration), who were "fangirling" over everything--from the jellybeans to the Oval Office replica. Anyone, no matter what party, age, or nationality can enjoy this presidential library.
It was rather amusing, though, watching a few elderly Republicans glare at us as we photographed Obama's picture on the wall, concluding the line of presidential portraits.
Photography is allowed so long as you don't use your flash.

The Reagan Library was my first presidential library experience.
The drive up from Irvine wasn't bad, but the line of cars parked along the road up to the museum was a little intimidating - luckily, we found a spot in the lot. Some of the artifacts from his younger days are only really interesting if you're a huge Reagan fan. Honestly, I was just there to see Air Force One.
The line to see the plane move quickly and the views over the hills are magnificent as some other reviewers have noted. We skipped the cafe (overproced pre-packaged sandwiches? no thank you!) and grabbed a bag of jelly beans to tide us over. Overall, it was a pleasant if overly nostalgic experience.
The best thing in Simi. Give yourself @ 3 hours to see everything. Perfect family outing. Go to Viva La Pasta for lunch or dinner. Another winner.

The Regan Library is very nicely done, very scenic view of the Semi Valley hills. The library is laid out very nicely with many artifacts. Some of my favorite exhibits here ar the piece of Berlin Wall, Oval Office Replica, and the new section where you can walk through the Air Force One he used is fantastic. His grave site is very nice as well.
From the terrace that houses the Air Force One, a gaze across the Simi Hills unfolds a panorama of green hills bathed by Southern California winter sunlight. The disjointed by-the-numbers exhibits dedicated to Reagan's life and legacy coalesced into a narrative panorama of a great American. It made sense why he would call Southern California home for decades, but the story must first start with his impoverished Dixon, Illinois childhood. I was raised in a rural setting in a foreign country, and I found the mock-up of his childhood home and objects of that era was impressive in detail. This was a man born in 1911, when the birth certificate still asks bluntly whether Reagan was legitimate (he is). For a man born several decades before digital cameras, there were plenty of photographs of him as he grew up.
Ronald Reagan ran fewer times for office that most modern presidents, but his gubernatorial campaigns were of interest since he took a solidly conservative message to crush incumbent Pat Brown. He won all but 3 counties. He had broad support including one Spanish-language button stressing the importance of the Latino vote even before Prop. 187.
While I might've missed it, there was no mention of his first marriage or his now-notorious children with Nancy (Democrat Ronnie Jr. and Playmate Patty Davis). Nancy Nancy Nancy. The Taj Mahal was a shrine for the wife of a ruler, and you can make the case for that for this library. With some of her dresses on display, her chic and couture is a striking contrast to the J.Crew-donning first lady of today. Nancy's style is classic, Michelle O's is forward-looking: If you want to know what's gonna end up in Buffalo Exchange, Michelle's your gal.
The exhibits are top notch, but it's the beautiful surrounding that makes it one of the best museums in the country.

Visited on the 4th of July. The library did a good job of arranging a number of family friendly activities.
Lovely view of the surrounding area. Enjoyed the roses.
Simple, elegant grave site.
Had expected the museum to capture more of who Reagan was. Felt it was more a collection of things --- many of which were gifts to Reagan while he was President.... Missed the section on the assassination attempt during the first time through the museum.
Did enjoy reading the letters between Ron and Nancy. Felt the letters captured a human side of who he was.

We just enjoyed the Christmas Around the World exhibit at the Library this afternoon. The Chrismas tree's were amazing! The theme was tree's from the 26 countries that Ronald Reagan visited while in office, but they had other themed trees (i.e., Nutcracker), as well as a replica of a White House Christmas tree.
We saw a Christmas card from the Pope in Latin and gifts that the Reagans had received from all over the world.
The library, Oval Office replica, Air Force One and Marine One are reasons to go, but I would recommend visiting the Christmas exhibit. These were the most beautiful Christmas tree's I've ever seen all in one place!
Merry Christmas!

I can't remember the other presidential libraries I visited, but the Reagan one is really nice. It's not too far from LA (45 minutes or so) and you drive up the hill for awhile. The library is at the very top, so it has lovely panoramic views. His tomb is outside. As you drive up, you'll see flags of all the US presidents.
Most of the exhibits are devoted to Reagan's life, from youth onwards but when you first enter the exhibit area, you'll see the gallery of US presidents. They even have some of his movie memorabilia and some clips to watch. There are quite a few pictures of Nancy and some of her gowns that she wore for important state functions. I find it interesting that they never mention his first wife, Jane Wyman. Even when he died, they didn't mention her. I wonder if they remained friends or just stopped speaking to each other at some point.
This is a great place to take kids. The library is spacious with high ceilings and it has the necessary amenities: snack bar, restrooms, and a small gift shop with Reagan memorabilia (they had Cherry Jelly Bellies, his favorite candy).

Weird. This place is cool.
So I was expecting much from this place - namely, I knew they had a crap audio tour. That said, the exhibits are well done and very informative. The museum is not as political as it is historical - which I MUCH appreciated.
Some of the items on display are truly unique: detailed diaries from/of 'Ronnie's' which account each day as president - super cool.
MY FAVORITE THING THOUGH - which brought TEARS to my eyes are the various Love Notes on white house paper and note cards from Reagan to Nancy. MY God, to have someone in your life for THAT LONG that can leave funny little love notes... man what expectations my bf now has to live up to......
Air Force One - NEAT! It's dorky, because its old school now - served 7 past presidents but it truly is cool. So interesting to see how they fit couches and such in a plane. Do not miss going into Air Force One.

WOW!
That's was what we all said as we left the Ronald Regan Presidential Library.
Would I go back? In a heartbeat.
Was it worth the two hour drive? Definitely.
Do you have to be a Republican to enjoy it? Not at all.
I've been to the Richard Nixon library in Yorba Linda -which is also very interesting- as well as Mount Vernon and Monticello and didn't have the sense of awe that I had at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. I think this library is special because it not only celebrates the man but it is a wonderful tribute to the office of president of the United States.
The exact replica of the oval office alone is worth the price of admission but on top of that you get to see an actual section of the Berlin Wall and thousands of gifts and memorabilia the our 40th president accumulated in his lifetime. There is also a very romantic celebration of relationship between the president and the first lady. All of those thing together make this a special place to visit but on top of that you get to experience Air Force One. Talk about having your cake and eating it too.
The Air Force One exhibit is breathtaking. And I am serious when I say it will take your breath away. Seeing this regal Boeing 707, its landing gear mounted on pedestals in the center of the giant atrium, is a thing of beauty. I will go out on a limb and proclaim that this is the most amazing display of a retired aircraft in the world. The inside of Air Force One felt surprisingly small but compared to a typical coach seat it was indeed grand. All on all I guess that's how the most powerful man in the world should travel.
Regardless of your political affiliation I highly recommend an afternoon at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. We were there for three hours and I think I could have easily spent five or six.

The best museum I've ever been to. How cool.
They views from the grounds of the library are genuinely breathtaking. The exhibits are well-organized and captivatingly informative. Oh, and did I mention the have A ROOM WITH A WHOLE FREAKING PLANE???
A PLANE IN A ROOM, IT IS RIDICULOUS!!!
Yeah, so, you can walk through Air Force One--a very unique experience.
This is the part of the review when I would generally say "I would go back," but I already have. And I will go again! What a cool experience! Highly recommended!

Having lived in Ventura County for a few years, I can say that the area is a cultural desert. There are a few cultural oasis - one of them being the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. Check your political affiliation at the door when you enter one of the best presidential libraries in the countries.
O.k. my last sentence is probably an overstatement because I haven't visited other presidential libraries to compare them to the Reagan one.
I have known about the Reagan Library for several years and was curious to visit it. My co-worker recommended that I go when she heard about my plans for a staycation. I told my bf that we were going to visit it and I could tell he really didn't want to go. He's a Democrat and he said that Reagan destroyed a country (I never asked him to specify which country that was). I told him that whatever Reagan did, he's still part of modern history and even though I personally didn't like Clinton, I would visit his library when it eventually gets built.
If you live in LA, take the 101 N and then take the 23 N and look for the Reagan Library signs. Mapquest will want you to take the 118 which is ridiculous.
You drive up a large hill and end up in a panoramic hillside which was once the Reagan Ranch, or better known as Reagan Country. The building was much larger than I expected. We entered the main entrance and noticed signs that the Library offered sunset dinners (see my pic as a reference). The admission price was $12 per adult. We were encouraged to watch the 2 movies offered: 1 that covered his biography and the other that covered the history of Air Force One.
My bf and I first watched the biographical movie. I was a bit surprised that we were the only ones in the theater room since there seemed to be quite a few other attendees milling about outside. I later found out that there were 2 theaters you could choose from to alleviate crowding.
There is a library in the structure, but its kept separate from the museum. The museum showcases many things that the Reagans collected in the White House years. His desk, meeting room and even the Oval Office were painstakingly recreated (sometimes with the original furniture).
There was an exhibit of Nancy Reagan's wardrobe during the date of our tour. I think that exhibit was part of their rotating exhibit section. What really impressed me the most was Air Force One and the hangar building that housed it. The structure was magnificent and it was really impressive how they displayed the aircraft and other vehicles. I really wasn't expecting much from the airplane, but I can see why my co-worker told me that it was worth seeing.
The inside of Air Force One isn't that impressive. It felt like I was entering a large flying Winnebago. It felt a little claustrophobic and it had a chemical smell to it. There were at least 3 to 4 staff members inside the aircraft to answer any questions we might have and to prevent guest from snapping pictures for 'security' reasons. We were told that the current president's plane is twice the size of Reagan's.
You can take picture in almost all parts of the museum (without flash) except right at the entrance to the airplane and inside the airplane. The museum took a cue from what amusement parks do and take a pic of you just when you are about to board the airplane for a tour inside. The pic costs you several dollars. We decided not to buy our pic. We were dressed too casually and it didn't look right with such a formal plane in the background. I would recommend at least business casual attire if you want to look good posing in front of Air Force One.
Make sure to walk out side the aircraft hanger to admire the gorgeous panoramic view of Simi Valley. Looking out from that vantage point, you can see why Reagan considered this his favorite part of the world. It was simply beautiful.
The tour eventually ends with a trip to the outside where the White House rose garden was recreated. There's a section of the Berlin Wall that ways several tons and spray painted with nice looking graffiti on the Western side of the wall. I am guessing they placed some type of acrylic coating on the wall to keep the colors vibrant in the harsh CA sun.
I was a little bit disappointed by the roses and the landscaping in general. It has so much potential, but they chose the wrong kind of plants to spruce up the place. The topiary of the elephant was cute though.
As we drove away from the place, I noticed a CA quail perched on the fence overlooking the scenery. Later on my bf admitted that he enjoyed the visit. He told me that part of the reason why he didn't want to go was that he thought it was just going to be a library. He didn't know about all the other stuff like Air Force One and the other military vehicles that he is fond of.
Overall, if you're planning to visit Ventura County, then I would recommend that you visit the Reagan Library. Parking is free.

Let me get in between Scott D and Jennifer W and hold them back from each other.
Scott - What did you expect? This is the REAGAN LIBRARY. Of course it's going to be skewed one way. That's how these things are. The same can probably be said for the Clinton Library, the Carter Library and just about any other presidential library. The place is not propaganda necessarily, just a view of him and his presidency that you or I as liberals do not share. As for the view, do you really think the middle or lower class would be living there right now? No. In fact, it's an open space for them to enjoy when they probably wouldn't have been able to before, if they like.
Jennifer - You may have left there feeling proud, but like Scott D, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. But I think he's one of the worst presidents that we ever had, I don't share your admiration for the man, so my view of the place would be very different from yours. You cannot deny that the place is skewed one way. There are no real criticisms of the man anywhere in the building, and he was an easy president to criticize.
That being said, what both of you need to do for Yelp is to put away your political biases and objectively review the museum itself.. Or you need to take your biases and understand how this library relates to them and make an intelligent comment on it, not just generalized attacks on liberals or conservatives.
I personally really enjoyed my tour of the Reagan Library, despite feeling a bit icky at the end. I think it's a fascinating look into a president that, at the very least, you have to admit, was really interesting and one of the most important figures in our lives. All of the exhibits are nicely done, the Oval Office is amazing, Air Force One is a thing to behold and I found quite a bit of it that wasn't skewed, that it just presented hard facts about the man.
And to me, the skew that definitely exists makes it even more interesting than a library that tries to play it politically correct and present both sides. I had a great time reading through the exhibits on his presidency and disagreeing with a lot of what was written. It's half of the charm of the place to me.
Take the Reagan Library for what it is. It's a monument celebrating Ronald Reagan. If you don't like the man, you aren't going to agree with a lot of what is in there. But if you love him, it's your kind of place. Either way, I think it's an awesome thing for Ventura County to house.
UPDATE - Scott D's review is gone. It basically gave the library one star and said that it was all conservative propaganda and went on and on about how bad Reagan was, just in case anybody was wondering.

If you are looking to spend a pleasant day in a low key Los Angeles site, this is one of the places you should visit. Beautiful views and free parking are awaiting your arrival and a piece of history will welcome you once you arrive.
The highlight for me was AirforceOne. What a treat to be able to stand at the very spot of past presidents as they began their journey to far away lands.
Simply a wonderful way to spend a day.

The museum is a beautiful tribute to one of the greatest presidents who has served the greatest country in the world. You leave this museum feeling proud to be an American, and not feel bad for being proud. Too bad if that it not politically correct.
I've met Nancy Reagan and Laura Bush here; I was honored to attend the Republican Presidential Debates, and I saw Justice Alito speak . Just go to the website to see upcoming events and reserve your space. We are very lucky to have this library in Ventura County.

Love.. love.. loved this place!
I visited the Reagan Library yesterday with some family members that lived in the area. They had been here many many times and love taking people around to see the various collections of Reagan "stuff" there is.
My personal favorites are the love notes sent from Ronnie to Nancy. I just about cried when reading them.. I only wish I had half the romance and love that they shared. It was truly genuine and happy.
Another favorite area of mine was the wardrobe and various dresses Nancy Reagan wore. All the girls in our party went around picking and choosing which outfit we're wear. I was usually beat out by the four year old that would pick the dresses that I wanted. She has quick eyes for a four year old!
I was very impressed by Air Force One. Before you go into the plane, you get to watch a movie about it.
The four-year-old was excited about seeing a movie. She was dead set on it being a "princess" movie, but to her disappointment, it wasn't.
The plane was cramped and walking through it could be a little claustrophobic, especially if a slower party is in front of you, but it was an amazing opportunity to soak everything in.
Again, the four-year old was more amused by the "chocolate cake" in the kitchen area of the plane than anything else..
They had a little snack food area where you could get fudge and stuff. And they also had a cafe. I didn't eat anything there, other than the Dreyers Dibs icecream, so I can't really rate the food.
The four-year old and I especially liked the fact that they so openly give away jelly belly jelly beans. You get a lil baggy when you purchase something in the gift store, and one of the tourguides gave a baggy away when ever someone answered a question right when looking at the display of the Oval Office.
The people there are very friendly and helpful. They always had a smile on their face and were willing to share some unknown facts or interesting information.
I would definitely go there again.. and again.. and again..

The library was so good I now believe Reaganomics ARE the answer.
Well maybe not, but we had tons of fun. Air Force One is there and when I went, Nancy's dresses were featured. I may be able to fit in the red one.
They have a piece of Berlin wall too.
This is a great way to spend half a day when you get tired of the beach. Highly recommened.

Had a Christmas party at the library this weekend and I must say I was impressed. Elegantly designed, tons of memorabilia showing the humble beginnings of Ronald Reagan. Seeing Air Force One was awesome!! The Oval Office..the sheer size and detail was amazing...I left my camera so I couldn't get any pictures inside Air Force One, but it's a beautiful museum. I could see that during the day it has a great view of the valley. The Irish pub is nice as well... had some Jameson and made a toast to our former President. The presidential helicopter and part of the motorcade vehicles are also on display.
This isn't a place for just the politcos. This is a place all Americans should experience. Because while by no means perfect, this is the greatest country on earth, and it's nice to see how a man from almost any background can ascend to the highest office in the land.

-A perfect place to bring anyone, of any age, from anywhere in the world.
-I've been coming here for field trips since Kindergarden and continue to visit throughout the recent years. My favorite are the quilts. Something about these historic quilts really touched my life at a young age, helped me appreciate history more.
-A fun thing going on now is an actual Air Force One airplane that Regan and Bush SR used. Its amazing. You can see where they hung out, where the press sat, and so on. Something else I learned there is that the VP and the Pres. never fly together in case one gets hurt or worse.
-Two other cool things: Nancy's gowns and a room that is an exact replica in shape of the Oval Office... it has the original desk, rug, paitings, you feel liek you're actually in the White House.

My first visit to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library was just incidental, as I was exploring a nearby water tank on an adjacent mountain peak as a possible location for a cellsite.
I was already there, so I decided to visit the Presidential Library, before returning back to the office and I'm glad I did.
When I came to this country, President Reagan was already half-way in his second presidential tenure and didn't know much about him, aside from being a former actor.
Well, he might not be the best and the brightest U.S. President, but I'm convinced that Mr. Reagan was a nice guy, a decent person with a good heart and a patriotic American.
At that time, there was still a building behind under construction, which later became the Air Force One Pavilion, a 90,000 square foot exhibit "hangar", that eventually opened in October 24, 2005, that serves as the setting for the the Boeing 707 aircraft utilized as Air Force One during Reagan's administration and six other previous U.S. Presidents.
On the same hangar is the Marine One, a Sikorsky VH-3 "Sea King" helicopter, as well as vehicles used in presidential motorcades.
President Reagan died at his home in Bel-Air, California, on June 5, 2004. He is buried on the Presidential Library ground, with his words inscribed, quoted as follows:
"I know in my heart that man is good. That what is right will always eventually triumph. And there's purpose and worth to each and every life."
Regardless of one's political persuasion, I think that The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library should be visited by every American.

The Reagan Library isn't reserved simply for those who are politically inclined, this is a must see for all. The library is really interesting and really provides an insight into the inner workings on the Whitehouse, as well as the personal life of President Reagan.
There is also a really awesome section of the library that has the Air Force One plane used all the way from the Reagan Presidency until the first George W. Bush presidency. You actually get to go inside the plane which was really fascinating. They also had an Air Force One helicopter on display, which interestingly enough my uncle had flown before and I had actually been inside before. The EXACT one. It was pretty cool to see it on display in such a beautiful place.
We actually spent probably three hours at the library stopping by the gift shop, checking out a piece of the Berlin wall they have on display, grabbing a snack at their "Irish pub" and of course spending a few moments at Reagan's memorial grave site. The site is located out behind the library and has an amazing view of Simi Valley.
Overall, I had an amazing time at the Reagan Library and so did everyone else I was with. The admission price ($12 per person) is a small price to pay to experience this small piece of history first hand. I would HIGHLY recommend checking out the library!

After swinging by the Nixon last weekend, (and knowing we'd be off Monday) I asked my fiance if we could finally make that trek up to Simi Valley to compare libraries. There are few places that can boast 2 presidential sites in the same state.
I am a Democrat, but I am also a child of the Reagan era. He was a charismatic public speaker. Nancy was also a very involved First Lady who intrigued me. I could not wait to learn more about them.
The library is situated high on a hill with breathtaking views of the valley. I would easily compare it to visits to the Getty (LA) and Chardonnay Golf Club (Napa). His friends and supporters spanned far and wide in many industries. Just by walking the grounds I discovered some of his donors included television magnate Merv Griffin and Carl's Jr. founder Carl Karcher.
Every section of the library was entertaining. I admit to spending the most time in the First Lady's gallery staring in awe at her exquisite taste in designers. The viewing rooms showing an overview of President Reagan's life and the library grounds brought me to tears. Being reminded about the assassination attempt and understanding the depth of his love for Nancy was very moving.
Learning about his upbringing and career prior to political rise was fascinating. I knew he was an actor, but a sportscaster and lifeguard? I didn't realize Nancy was also an actor (and that's how they met). I love the fact they have the very booth from Chasen's from where he proposed to her. A few of the love letters he sent her over the years were also featured, and you realize his adorable sense of humor and commitment to his wife (signing letters with 'your roommate', or an entire letter that repeated "I miss you" down the middle). I lingered in the area devoted to their marriage and all the quotes and photographs chronicling their life while in office.
You learn about their hectic daily lives, and how Saturdays appeared to be their day off. Camp David and the ranch they bought out in California, Rancho del Cielo, are also described in detail. While boarding Air Force one, examining his personal motorcade, and getting up close to Marine One was exciting, I think everything leading up to it was equally impressive.
I enjoyed the selection in both gift shops. I was a little taken aback by the Disney-esque photos you can take outside of Air Force One, and the fact that you could purchase a beer right below. However, it just contributed to the charm of the Gipper. How fabulous would it be to have a dinner in the same room as Air Force One!?
My only regret is not taking the audio tour and hearing Ronnie and Nancy's voices guiding me through the exhibits.

I would take my boyfriend here in the future. I think he would love to see [the plane that was] Air Force One. I'd go back for the Oval Office replica. My father is a history buff but my mother took us here to see the roses. This place just makes me realize that I don't know enough Republicans.

Okay - dad was a socialist and mom was a capitalist. Having said that, they both told me this was a must see. When dad visited he apparently had to take some deep breaths because, "How dare they portray Reagan in a favorable light!"
Mom's memory was a bit more positive; "The architecture and interior design are both understated and elegant. No faux-Mediteranean like so many places. Just simple and clean. And the space is breath-taking."
The highlights for me? The frickin Presidential Plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow! And the exact replica of the Oval office. Also - some of the movie stuff and cowboy stuff. And the diaries. He certainly seemed to be a working-class Irishman who cherished Nancy.
Okay - I will not preach. BUT, this is a cool place. The food is simple fare, which seems to be traditional with monied Irish- Republicans. But Pops was just baffled that they didn't have any Noam Chomsky (sp?) or Howard Zinn books in the gift shop.

After going to the George Bush library, we ended up going to the Ronald Reagan library which was pretty neat. They had his exhibit of his life and his acting career. I did not know he really loved Jelly Belly's so much and as much as me. They also had the Christmas tree exhibit which I found a little bit boring. My parents were fascinated with it though for some reason. Anyways believe it or not we were pretty much there all day and I was not bored either which was amazing, I usually go through museums like crazy, but maybe because I was with my parents. Yeah I got to see air force oce and got our picture taken in front of it. They do not allow you to take pictures inside which is understandable because they people will not move as fast, but the line is super long and took 30 minutes, but it was okay. They have a cafe on the bottom and the food is just okay, but a ton of money unfortunately and I was hungry.

A museum for ol' 666
Yup you read right Yelpers - 6 6 6
Im sure its a number everyone is familiar with...
RONALD 6
WILSON 6
REAGAN 6
I think that will give enought insight into my personal opinion.
Enough with the funk on with the junk...
Ill try to be unbiased...
So my kids had an assignment to go check out this museum.
(I WOULD NEVER GO HERE UNLESS IT WAS FOR MY KIDS.)
Very nice place, well kept, clean, organized.
Lots of things having to do with ol 666....lol
Chrismas tree exhibit was in effect at this time.
They had AIR FORCE ONE inside a room for people to see, for that alone they get 1 star. CRAZY!
To me, when I see that plane im not thinking about ol 666, im just thinking DAMN thats freaking a plane in a room and its the plane used to fly presidents around the world. No love for 666, jus want to clear it up.
They also had a few different films for people to watch. Tried to sit through some but the NAW....tanks but no tanks.
Also had exhibits on other presidents besides 666, that was OK.
There was alot of other things mentioned already by other Yelpers which is fairly accurate, so im not going to get into that.
Overall a decent museum, for me personally, I WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN!!! I would only go again if someone "CLOSE" to me asked.........NEVER WOULD I SAY, "HEY I GOT A DAY OFF FROM WORK, YEAH LETS GO TO THE RONALD REAGAN MUSEUM"......LOLOLOL
Just for ol 666 I would rather give it NO STARS!!!
But since im trying to be unbiased, what the hell (no pun in), ill go ahead and give it 3 stars.
Peace and OLD FALSE TEETH!!!

Came here for a company party but I enjoyed the private tour more than the dinner (even though the food was good!). Reagan's history brought back many memories for those who attended (and actually experienced those times, as opposed to my generation just reading about it). I LOVED the exhibit of Nancy Reagan's gowns throughout the years, and of the many notes showing how human and real the Reagans' relationship was. Very touching. Hopefully next time will get to see Air Force One.

It has been a while since I visited the presidential library. I think it was one of the first places that made me admire a president for who they were as a person. If you are in the area I would say it's a great place to visit.

Inspiring. That is the word that best describe how I feel after visiting Reagan Presidential Library. It is very interesting to see the journey of Ronald Reagan from a life guard to Governor of CA and finally The President of US. The Air Force One was very amazing too. I can see my self revisiting this Library or Museum in the near future because it is simply inspiring.
Pretty cool library...its a chore to get here, but we made it...nice view, if youre hanging by the headstone, looking out the valley. My favorite is Nancy's clothes because it was something i can relate to. Oval office was interesting as well. We came here just weeks before AFO was set to arrive and i was bummed. but overall no complaints. We went during the summer which was good because there were no school groups going on...Ill be going back later on the year to see AFO for sure..all in all, a very deserving tribute to President Reagan that will be of interest to people of all ages

Although I was never a fan of Mr. Reagan, the library is a must-see. The location on the hill overlooking Simi Valley is not to be missed, and the permanent exhibit is an interesting window into his presidency. But a treat are the travelling exhibits that make it here, and they change on a regular basis. So be sure to check with the museum to see what is new. And now with Air Force One, you can feel what it would be like to have your own jet!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My family loves it here especially during 4th of July. They celebrate it the old fashioned way.
