I go to the Rockoff Center for all my facial needs. This is a dermatologist office, so it is much better than going to a spa.
I have been to this office for a chemical peel, Microderm and to have a tatoo removed....I saw Rose, who is unbelievable. She knows EVERYTHING and she will never steer you in the wrong direction. My skin has gone from HORRIBLE to great. She has never tried to upsell me and if anything, she always give me a new sample to try.
Now I mainly visit their North Shore Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery Center. I am in the middle of getting a series of peels from Skinmedica. Though my face is peeling and looks spotty now, it is getting better every day.
This center does EVERYTHING and they are reasonably priced-their prices are better than any of I have seen from a derms office. They also do laser, botox and restalyne and all that type of stuff....their main Dr also does MAJOR cosmetic procedures like face lifts.
I will never stop coming here and am so glad I was referred to them

Dr. Rockoff is the best.
Everything else - not so much.
Its a little overwhelming, with the Botox posters and other unnecessary plastic surgery suggestions. Some of us will never get botox, we will only come here to see the Doctor.
Im a bit of a hypochondriac, so I think every mole and age spot is cancerous. Dr. Rockoff is very good and understanding and takes time to explain things. He is experienced, with good credentials, and is a proff and a trustee at Tufts.
The receptionists are the ruddest, laziest, unfriendliest bitches Ive ever had to deal with. I have no idea what their problem is, perhaps they should at least pop a few happy pills. My copay pays their salaries, I deserve some respect.
I saw Megan last year for an embarrassing problem and she was so very sensitive and helpful, I couldn't have asked for better treatment
The receptionists are extremely rude and lazy. There was a problem with my insurance policy number and they had me go out in the hall and call my primary care physician instead of calling themselves. They have these little sliding glass windows and use them to talk about patients and pretend not to hear you when you have questions. I had an appointment at 2pm and didn't get seen until almost 3pm. Once I did, though, the dermatologist (I think her name was Megan) was very helpful. She got right down to business and wrote me two perscriptions and gave me a bunch of free samples. Honestly, I dont really care about intense examinations, she wrote me my slips and had me out the door in ten minutes.
