Played in a tournament here on 4/4/09.  The course is in exceptional condition all the way from tee to green.  Greens were impressively fast, the downside being that they refuse to hold a shot.  Even "perfect" shots would end up rolling off the green.  Given that some greens are directly adjacent to water, this is much more punitive than one might think.  We didn't see a single dead spot on any fairways, bunkers were raked with plenty of sand and tee boxes were mostly level.

It's a 127 from the Back tees.  (They won't let you play the Championship tees if they don't know your game.)  However, it felt like the course played a little harder than that.  One important tip, if you can't see the fairway in front of you, drive up and take a look before you tee off.  There is a good chance there is water ahead.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful.  Range balls are included in the greens fees which is a great perk. All courses should do this.  They had great food, cart service and a number of marshalls watching the pace.

The only downside is that the course is very forgettable.  None of the holes has any real character to it.  If not for the fact that the water is on different sides, you might swear that the 9th hole and the finishing 18th hole were one and the same.  Keep in mind, the designers took a dead flat field and did they best they could to dig out a golf course.  That aside, it's a nice facility, especially considering it's located in Stockton.

I would give higher score if the service for food and beverages did not suck so much.   The course and driving range is awesome.  The only problem with this course is the lack of mature trees for shade when it's blazing hot, during the summer months.

So about the service...before the turn I used my cell phone to call in our order like the sign said.   I ordered 3 hot dogs.  No problem said the person ont he receiving end.   Come to the turn, my boyfriend went in to pick up the order.   First, there was noone there to even talk to, then someone there said, what order?   They only had 1 hot dog ready so we had to wait for the other 2.  During this time, the group behind us decided to jump in front even though they had nowhere to go.  We got back in time to tee off the 10th.   After the round, I wanted to have a glass of wine, so we went to in and sat at the bar.   There were 2 people behind the bar, doing their best to ignore us.   Finally one lady says, oh have you not ordered?  No, I mean, there is nothing in front of us.  We finally got our drinks.   Another group sat near us and they waited and waited, finally one of them spoke up real loud and asks, are you pouring beer today?

For a wonderful course to have such shitty service is unthinkable.   I am not going to go out of my way to golf here again.

This course is pretty nice, but plain. It is very well kept, but nothing out of the ordinary in terms of design. If it happens to be windy get ready. There are no trees and it can get a bit brutal. The greens can get kind of hard and if you get the ball in the air it's out of your hands. If I want to pay this much for golf I would rather drive a bit farther than play here, but this will do when time won't allow it.

My favorite driving range in town!  Grass range with a nice pitching area and challenging putting green.  The course however loses a star.  This is one that will likely be better in the future because of the lack of trees for shade (young course) it gets awfully hot in the summer time!  Course is real open without the trees though which doesn't take away from the challenge!  I would recommend anyone to play this course either first out or last out for the day though especially in the summer time!

My friends and I took up an email offer sent to us by this golf course.  Their email special read, "September Specials- Twosome specials...Play M-TH before 11am for $39 and M-TH after 11am for $29".

We went in to use this coupon and was told that they made a mistake on their advertisement and they couldn't honor it.  I told them that since it was their mistake, they had to honor it.  After all, it was their promotional special.  We met with the manager and he said it was ridiculous of us to try and take advantage of such a spectacular deal.  How were we supposed to know it was so spectacular.  He accused us of trying to take adavantage of the mistake they made.  Again, how were we supposed to know they made a mistake.  He claimed, since we do receive specials through email, we had to have known it was a mistake.  Yes, we do receive email specials, but we normally don't play on weekdays.  We only pay attention to specials on the weekends.  He continued on and said that we were being unreasonable.

Well, we spoke to over a dozen people and they all agreed that the golf course made a mistake and should honor it.  You don't advertise something, have people come in, and then switch things around!!!!  The manager and the lady at the counter just made absolutely NO SENSE!!!  Although the manager did admit to his mistake, he just made us feel like complete dummies.  He really did.  And the lady at the counter told us to go play elsewhere too!  So uncalled for!!!!!!  Then again, she had a lot of smart ass comments that she made.

When I got home last night, GUESS WHAT????  They re-sent the email special out.  Only difference this time, they mentioned that each player had to pay $39 before 11am or $29 after 11am.  If the manager stood his ground and really believed that people should know the mistake he made, Why did he have to re-send an email apologizing for the confusion???????

I really do believe that the manager did not want to own up to his mistake.  He probably thought he was talking to some kids, thus treating us like kids.  Absolutely no respect in how he spoke to us and basically just laughed at us for trying to take advantage of this situation.

I think they should refund all the money back to the golfers who played that day with the coupon of whom they charged $39 and $29 each.  If anyone was taking advantage yesterday, it was the golf course.  They took advantage of their own mistake and charged an unfair rate to those who had the coupon.

The unprofessionalism of this golf course is disappointing.
