I love The Reiki School and Kim,  who is the school's director and main teacher,  the bees knees.  There's even a little bee as a cursor on her website which is very cute.  Kim used to be a kindergarten teacher which I can easily imagine.  Now she teaches Reiki (a Japanese energy healing technique) to adults.  

I tend to be a little cynical, some may say jaded, perhaps a little misanthropic at times, but reiki as taught by Kim manages to cut through all of that hostility and make me feel in touch with things in a non-alienated kinda way.  It's so simple that toward the end of the first level I was like, that's it? But then something clicked.  It's beauty and effectiveness is in its simplicity.  If you've never had reiki, book a session and treat yourself.  Seriously.  It's magic.
