I used to live so close to this place and hardly every came here, now I'm a good 12 minutes away and want to come here a lot more often... go figure.
The food is very fresh. I have never had a better chicken quesadilla anywhere!  I know it's simple food, but it just tastes so good here.

Paid about $20 for a pepper steak burrito (carne asada is not on this menu) that came with rice and black beans. I had a coke too.    Food was okay.  Service was slow-even though I was the only one in there.    I wouldn't eat there again.

I'm inclined to agree with Geoffrey G.  Food  is bland, and also overly salted.  Don't ask me how the two go together, but they do.  it's also pricey, though the 4 year odl and I shared a meal and added on a cup of soup.  The soup was definately the highlight of the meal.  I could have left the rest of it.

This was our second visit. The first one was quite bland, too, but as they're only a blovk from my house & I was too exhausted to cook or drive I decided to try it again.  But now I remember that Trader Joe's across the parking lot sells ready made food.  Cheaper.  Tastes better.

One star for the friendly and attentive service.

Really greasy chips.

Horrible chicken tostada (not much chicken, oily italian dressing, 2 slices of avocado, bland).

Over-priced bad food.

Very convent location, and promising decor, music, and patio. Excellent hot fresh chips and salsa! (Perfect so far.) Surprisingly expensive menu. (Red flag.) Slow-slow-slow and ultimately inattentive service. Well-enough presented food, but conclusion by all at table? Bland. Ultra bland (if such a thing). Bland beyond belief. Major disappointment and embarrassing--shocking--waste of money. Compelled to warn friends.

A decent Mexican place in a cute little strip mall that's going upscale with a starbucks, a Pete's and a trader Joe's.

The best addition here is the margarita flavored wine made into iced margaritas (they only serve beer and wine so you can't get a real Margarita.)  It's actually better than most slushed margs I've ever had.

The food is basic and cooked.  but I love Mexican food, so I enjoy it.  The hot sauce is my favorite and the chips are usually not too greasy but served warm.

I have had the taquitos (make sure to ask them not to burn them) or the fajitas (especially the shrimp fajitas.)  The avocado is fresh and their specials are quite tasty.  Of course the meals come with rice and beans and my wife and I always share.

The service is friendly and the place is very clean (compared to the other nearby restaurants in the same mall that I won't mention but will hopefully be put out of their misery during the remodeling.)  During the summer they have an outside patio you can eat it that's quite a treat, if you don't mind positioning yourself so you aren't looking at the parking lot of a strip mall.

The restaurant used to be on Stevens Creek, down from Viv's (before they tore it down and built a housing development over the parking lot) and i think the food isn't quite what it used to be, but it's still good fare and inexpensive (well maybe not cheap for Mexican...)

The fiesta tostada is YUM. Also delicious are their fresh warm chips and salsa. What's not so yum, the prices for lunch. It's like 11 bucks. And groups they charged 18% for our group of like 12. I dunno about you, but normally classier establishments charge that high an included tip. I'm not sure that the price equals the quality.

I'm not the greatest reviewer for Mexican food as I've never been a big fan of it.  Which means I don't know how athentic mexican taste like.  What I do know is if "I" like something or not.  The "crab enchilada" I had was really unique but tasted bland.  The beans and rice also tasted dull.

The service and decor was very good considering the resonable prices.

Not somewhere I'd avoid, nor somewhere I'd travel just for.

I met some yelpers here to try a new place.  It wasn't especially clean.  The service was inattentive; we had to flag them down to order and they never came back to ask if we needed anything.  The only positive was that left us more time to indulge in our fabulous conversation.  That said, my veggie fajitas were surprisingly good!  This place is in the parking lot with Rite-aid and Trader Joe's.

Vegan Report: Not a single vegetarian item on the menu.  How do you have a restaurant in California and not offer a veggie burrito?  But when I asked if they could make me veggie fajitas, they said sure.  When I asked for no sour cream they asked if cheese was ok.  When I asked if the beans were vegetarian, they said yes.  My fajitas were really, really tasty, flecked with garlic and cooked just right.

Two of us went to split a plate a of fajitas, and this was the skimpiest plate I had ever seen in any mexican restaurant! They gave us three small tortillas for two of us, so I asked for ONE more. We were given three more, and they charged us for it! For $14, you get a lot more at Celia's or Chevy's. This place used to be good, now they have a bad attitude if you don't buy two dinners. We won't be going back.

Meeting some new Yelpers was the only reason for this location.  That was a fun experience.  Getting seated was no problem, but the follow up at the table was lacking.  Although I had notice one worker peeking from time to time.  Perhaps he was waiting for us to finish so they could close up shop.  My chicken enchilada suiza was satisfactory, but it could have used a little more kick to it.  The entree came with what else?  That's right.  Beans and rice makes everything nice, but I limited my bean intake for the night.
