So much fun!  Our first visit was today and we are trying to figure out why they close on Labor Day!  So safe, lots of guards!  Food was great and not too expensive!  We'll be back!

This is the best waterpark in California.  Paso Robles is know for a warm, dry, clear sun climate. The location is spectacular in a large "ravine" amongst beautiful trees and a rolling hillside.

The Kamakize and Vertigo waterslides are for hardcore enthusiasts.  The first is a straight shot, almost vertical slide.  The second is a fast enclosed tube slide that dumps you out into a toilet bowl type vertex which flushes you into an 8' deep pool.

You ride the Anaconda and Viper slides on state of the art inner-tubes. You catch air at a fast speed about 1/2 way down the twists and turns.  These two rides dump you our into a pond connected to the park's lazy river.

Everyone seems to enjoy the large wave machine pool. The park has to run this attraction in intervals to entice people to try other areas of the park.

The lazy river is a great way to relax and cool off from the sun and heat.

The children's pool and slide area features multiple slides, tubes, and water fountains.  This area is better that any other children's water attraction around.

The facility is extremely clean. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The park should be renamed "Wally World" because it has a local owner/family friendly atmosphere.

We rented a cabana for two days at $75 per day. We found the food prices were absolutely fair. I recall a burger was $4.95 and a cheeseburger was $5.95.  My burger was good. Cabana rental provided front row reserved parking which was a huge value.  There is no charge for parking otherwise.

We traveled 3 hours to visit this park.  We live very close to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and refuse to go there because it is overcrowded, feels dirty, and is corporately expensive and unfriendly.  I never waited more than 7 minutes (once) to go down a slide ride.  The kids pool could have held 10x more children in it.  Again, great staff (lifeguards), clean and uncrowded.

We stayed overnight at the La Quinta inn road down the street.  It was ok but I will look for something different next time around.

I wish lived close enough to The Ravine to buy season passes for my family of 5.  Everyone loved it and it made for an inexpensive yet fun-filled family time weekend away from the Southern California rat race.  I will definitely go back with the family before the summer is done.

I would give The Ravine 10 stars if it was possible!!!

This is a super, awesome place to take the kiddos and the whole family.

It is worth the price ten times over-- hands down.  The entire park is clean and well-cared for.  The lifeguards are attentive and focused-- they take their job very seriously and have been trained well.

How often does this happen to you? It's Sunday morning. You've been on the Central Coast, wine-tasting all weekend.  It's hot. You've got a long drive ahead of you and you really want to go for a dip, but you want to exert no real effort beyond putting on your bathing suit and flip-flops to do so. You could go to a lake or the beach, but they're a little bit far away and there'd be, you know, effort.

So you decide to head home. On your way to the 101 you happen to look over and see - A WATER PARK!!!! (and somehow didn't see it the other nine times you drove this way over the weekend...uhhh...)

And not just any water park - a really nice, clean water park with a wave machine, big slides that are just crazy enough, and a "river" that you can just float along on your inner tube. Oh, and when you phone the water park as you're driving by (to make sure you're not hallucinating - they actually answer the phone and say "sure we're here - we open in 5 minutes..."

Ohmigod it was a dream come true!!!!

Regarding the omission of a 5th star: Their commissary had a decent looking menu too, although my pregnant friend's veggie burger took WAY  too long and it came with cheese that she didn't want - which they took care of by scraping off and giving it back to her. Yeah - bad form. I don't know if you can bring your own food in or not.  We didn't try. Like I said - wasn't expecting to be there! But I will make it part of my wine tasting trip itinerary next time for sure!

Yeah, yeah , yeah. A water park in Paso Robles...oh thank god...
PAH-LEASE. With the lake, and several beaches so close by, I'd suggest you skip this over priced new "attraction"

These people are charging ridiculous amounts of money to enter this place. And for what? Four slides that are actually big enough for adults?

We've been once, and had a good time. We even considered getting season passes until we found out how over the top the prices were.  We shopped around and found out you can get a season pass to raging waters in san jose for 50 bucks per person vs 120 per person or 375 for four people at the Ravine. And the ravine isn't even open as long as other water parks.

They are taking advantage of the locals as well as our tourists. We may shell out the 22 bucks per person for one day this summer. But we wont be regulars. Not with the way the prices are for season passes. It's just robbery if you ask me.

My family and I visited this brand-new water park just East of Paso Robles on 6/24/07 and had a blast.  The kids with us ranged in age from 6-12 and all of them, including the adults really enjoyed the facility.
Being new, you can tell the staff is still working the kinks out, so to speak but everything was clean and the rides safe, yet fun.  There are two large, high-speed slides, two slower but fun slides and several small slides for small kids.
We rented a cabana for the day and our "cabana girl" was great, bringing us drinks and food.  The food was obviously amusement park grade but in 100+ heat and rigorous water fun, who cares?
Totally worth the $ and a great addition to the activities around Paso.

We love the Ravine! It's clean, it's small enough that you don't have to worry about being able to find each other, and most of all, the staff is attentive.

We really appreciate the level of care that is shown in keeping guests safe and the environment clean.  We buy our tickets online to save a couple of bucks. That pays for the gas to get there!

Finally, a place where the owners really care about their customers. The emphasis on good, clean fun for an entire family is amazing. We had a mini family reunion & reserved two of the cabanas. Our party ranged from 6 mos old to 80 years old. Everyone had fun & our cabana girl, Tobin, was awesome.  Thanks so much & we will definitely be back!!!

Took our family of 5 there. Its a cute little water park, but save yourself some money and try to go on a weekday. They charge more on the weekend.
