I like their sandwiches especially the vegetable feast yummy. However, I guess last week the lady misunderstood me and made my usual crunch roll sandwich on a bagel. Ew, not the same. The bagel was hard and ripped my palate a bit.
Anyway I decided to try their salmon cream cheese and some bagels. Had them for a snack later on in the day, yuck! Bagel was hard and the salmon was kind of fishy rather than smoky.
I'm going to the House of Bagel for non-sandwich bagels from now on. Service was kind of slow and there's a slight language barrier.
I love bagels. I ordered a couple of bagels VIA phone to save myself some time and energy... and it honestly didn't even seem like it was worth it.
When I went to pick up the bagels, they were all confused, tried to give me just two random bagels, and in general just didn't know what I was saying. I don't have an accent, English is my first language, and I'm not a mumbler... so in all honesty, I think the language barrier was on their end.
BTW... bagels here are mediocre. I wouldn't put myself through this process again, AND let's not lie to ourselves... parking on Main Street can be painful!
Nothing was POSH about this place.
These are not authentic boiled bagels. They are a solid alternative, though. They are the extra fluffy squishy variety that I happen to like, but technically not an authentic bagel.
There are better bagels not so far away. The schmears are good. Ihad both the lite garlic that was bursting with fresh garlic spiciness, and the light plain, which was slightly on the sour side.
While I liked the bagels, I can't see myself craving them.
The only place I know of -so far- in little downtown Los Altos where I can get Milk Tea Bubble/Boba drinks.
(For other options and more flavors, you'd have to drive a little farther into Mountain View or other nearby South Bay areas).
I'm not a huge fan of bagels in general.

They have one of the best selections of fresh gourmet bagels in town. There's a bagel for anytime of day... breakfast bagels with eggs and bacon, bagel sandwiches with lox or roast beef, pizza bagels... you name it, they've got it. My favorites are Asiago and Spinach Pesto. Reasonably priced, too.
Great toasted bagel sandwiches! I love this place and it's in a very busy part of Los Altos where you can just sit and relax. Prices aren't too bad and all the bagels are tasty. Fresh too!
Okay, I'm a little bias because I use to work here. But that just means I have the inside scoop!
5 stars: really fast service
5 stars: fresh bagels everyday (they only sell bagels baked the same day)
5 stars: awesome sandwiches
5 stars: a huge selection of drinks
5 stars: Nice environment. Nicer than most bagel shops (if not all).
3 stars: Most of the employees there are native Spanish speakers, so their English aren't great, but still good.
Tip: If you like to adventure out into the sandwich world...ask David (not David the baker) to make you something good...tell him that cheesecake recommended you. =-)

good lunch stop for a quick sandwich downtown Los Altos
They toast the rolls and the tuna & avo is my favorite
I don't like posh very much because it's a chain bagel shop. Bagel's are supposed to be fresh, homemade and delicious, but Posh has bagel's that taste very store-bought. The feel of posh is very cold and unfriendly. The clerks never smile, and barely speak english. When i went to buy 2 little packs of gum there, it was $1.25 per pack but I only had $2. I politely asked if I could get 2 pakcs for $2 but I was harshly rejected. I suggest Izzy's on CA ave if you want a bagel
This is my favorite bagel shop. The store is clean and small but not too small, the service is quick and excellent, and they have the widest drink selection ever (I think they have more than the 7-eleven). I never miss an opportunity to get an eggwich on a garlic bagel when I am nearby (and of course a mini-chocolate chip to go).
Turkey Bacon on Posh Popper, need I say more?
No.

If you want some strange "gourmet" bagels, then you might enjoy this place. As for me, I prefer not to get my bagels here because they just don't taste right. They are steamed, not boiled. I would go to House of Bagels instead if you want a really good, authentic bagel. Additionally, I've never been able to get hot bagels at Posh--try House of Bagels at Cuesta and Miramonte in Mountain View. Trust me. It's worth it.
