Pita Pit is like subway, only you get a pita bread which they stuff with meat and veggies. It ends up looking like a burrito when all is said and done.

The food always tastes fresh every time I go. I normally choose chicken breast as my meat and fill it with lots of veggies. For my sauces, I like mixing ranch and teriyaki. Its probably a weird mix to most, but I like it. :)

The earlier reviewers nailed it on the head with the analogy.  It is just like a subway but they wrap everything instead of putting it on bread.  But not exactly, you'll see why.  We ordered a lot of food because we were bring lunch with is on our way to visit family. So we tried to make it as simple as possible by ordering seven of the same thing, a gyro.  The order took upwards of half an hour.  That is completely ridiculous.  You think lunch time on a Saturday, a place would be adequately staffed.  But I guess not.

Now on to the food.  It has to have been better than the service right? Nope.  The pitas fell apart and the gyro meat was sub par.  The pita was frozen and he would heat it up in the microwave prior to making our wraps.  That would explain it falling apart.  I appreciate the use of fresh ingredients.  This place lost a couple points for the frozen pita.  You think a place called the pita pit would use fresh pita, right?

Just got back from this place. It was pretty good. We had the Chicken Slouvaki pita, falfel pita and the pita with hummus. The price was not bad. The sauces are awesome. We were impressed. Please do not compare this place to subway. Not a big fan of subway! I think people need know what to put in their pita. This is what I put in the Chicken slovaki: Tahzini sauce (sorry not sure of the spelling), romaine lettuce, spinach, onions, a little feta cheese, and some humus. Dang it was good. Don't go crazy putting weird crap in your pita. We will visit again.

I've stopped here several times on my way to work and I've been fairly satisfied with the food.  Mostly I've ordered the Falafel Pita with hummus, on wheat pita.  Pretty good.  They have vegetables you can choose from (a la Subway).  High quality fresh vegetables (fresher than most Subways I've experienced).

Review to continue later, back to work.....
