Review from Rick R.
One of the newest sports bars in Lancaster.
And it shows.
They have many flat screens, but some have bad sight lines. I'm no interior decorator (surprised aren't ya?), but if your tv's are approx 7-8 ft up on the wall, why would you put racecar light fixtures above pool tables approx 5-6 ft off the ground? Hey if you're under 5ft or over 6'9", those pesky lights won't bother you at all. But for us regular sized guys, a little craning of the neck is in store for you along with your grub and brews.
That's really my only gripe with this place. Otherwise, the wings are spicy and just crispy enough. They have the standard appetizers- poppers, nachos, fried mozzarella, etc all of which are pretty good. The waitresses are attentive and cute. They could use a wider selection of beer though, but like I said they're still a babe in the woods up here. I'm sure they'll get better.
They have a nice internet jukebox which is a big plus, darts, and a few arcade games at the bar. -

Walking into this place is like walking into every Lancaster stereotype there ever was. It's like redneck central! Loud country music plays on the stereo as redneck youth play pool and middle aged divorced men hang out at the bar area hitting on the obese redneck female servers. This bar was a grand reminder on why I desperately wanted to escape Lancaster and the Antelope Valley as a whole. The entire bar just has a feel of Alabama and it is fitting considering Lancaster is the Alabama of LA County.
This place was formally a Coco's . . . it had so much potential to be a cool place to hang out . . . :(
On a positive note, the service was good and from what I hear the drinks are cheap. -

OUT OF BUSINESS. This bar closed in early 2011. Ate there once for lunch; food was fine but no better than average.
The Cocos that occupied the building for years was closed when the landlord tried to double the rent. The building's owners hadn't updated it in 20 years, and Cocos lost customers to newer, better-maintained restaurants. (When I sit in a booth, I don't want to have to sit on duct tape.) I wonder if the landlord is up to his old tricks, or if The Pit Stop is just another casualty of the economy. -

Started coming here a few years ago just for the Monday Night Football specials and to play QB1 (a neat-o, nationwide, satellite-based game). Not a bad place for beer and bar food. Nice waitresses, some video games in the back, lots of TVs, bathrooms worked.
After a few months of just Monday nights, we decided to stop in on a Friday at lunch for a few beers. Wow. What a difference. The bar was construction workers on one end and the other looked like the jail bus headed to Mira Loma stopped for lunch. On the side tables were some folks who...well, you could count their collective teeth without taking off your shoes ;)
So my better half decided to tough it out (plus, they just started serving a new seasonal beer on tap :) and I was quite surprised at the huge pot roast sandwich that was delivered to me. Yummy. By the time we finished the food and beers, the entire place was empty--guess, they didn't like the way we looked! And the beer went down a lot better once the fear of being shived subsided.
We would go back for Monday Nights but they do not play QB1anymore. Oh, well. -

I went years ago, and enjoyed their karaoke. The bar makes Little Rock, California look like Little Rock Arkansas. It's not divey enough to be good and not classy enough to be good.

This is where you come to the sad realization that this is as good as a bar gets in the Antelope Valley for twenty-somethings not interested in joining a biker gang--well the last part may be negotiable. Come here with good friends and you'll probably find a beer and a cocktail you'll like and soon your arrogance will wear off--that's what my friends and I do there. They've got hilariously bad music from a juke box, a pool table, dart board and a lot of booths for groups to sit down together in.

Good drink specials, beer pong tournaments, and good food.

I've been here once and won't go back again! The service sucks and they don't care about satisfying their customers. My friend ordered some food and didn't wasn't satisfied with part of his order. Even though he took one bite they wouldn't replace it. They didn't care.
