I'm hesitant to write this because it means I just may convince you to use Michele's services and make her less available to my poochie pooh, Keaton, and me.
On the other hand, I cannot keep Michele in business alone, and if she were unable to continue her work, I honestly don't know what I would do. Before her, I hadn't been able to leave my apartment for more than about four hours at a time. Now, when I use her services, I feel like not only will he be taken care of--but he's going to actually enjoy himself! Imagine your dog not glaring at you like, "Where the hell've you been?!" and instead act like, "Oh, you're back. Guess that means my girlfriend, Michele, went home. Hrmph." Yeah. His indifference is truly a gift! Thank you, Michele!
Keaton is a feisty terrier who doesn't warm easily to everyone. But with Michele it was love at first sniff. He was in her lap, licking her face, and ready to play.
Michele is calm, capable, reliable and pretty available considering how many appointments she must be keeping track of. And she never seems to mind my worry wart texts checking in but sends me updates so I know all is well.
I recently commandeered her whole weekend: two sleepovers with visits in between. It was a great relief to know that my dog wasn't home pacing and being fearful but instead someone was spooning with him in my own bed! Awesome!
And to her credit, Michele even showed up to walk my dog despite the fact that she'd just found out her friend had been taken to the hospital after suffering a stroke! She could have called and said she'd had an emergency, but instead she showed up like a trooper to take care of business. That's hardcore.
Not just a pet-sitter, Michele is a PET LOVER, and I'm so grateful to have found her. Now, kindly book her only on the days and nights that we don't need her.

Michele gets along great with our two fuller figured pits. They both love and respect her. Her prices are reasonable and the boys are much happier when they get a visit from their buddy Michele. It's been a huge relief to be able to have her walk them and MUCH more convenient and affordable than bringing them to a doggie daycare on our longer work days. She always double-locks our door and check on the boys' water before she leaves.

The Pet Nannies started when Michele Richter decided to leave corporate America and do something she truly loves... provide customized care for pets. She was determined to use her skills in management combined with her love of animals and her Master degree in Psychology to start a business that would be unique and satisfying to both pets and their owners.
Currently, The Pet Nannies specializes in the most comprehensive Canyon Hikes in L.A. Dogs are exercised while learning vital socialization and obedience skills. In addition The Pet Nannies provides Dog Walking, Cat Sitting, Vacation Visits and Overnight care to pets in the following areas in Los Angeles: West Hollywood, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, Larchmont, Fairfax District, Los Feliz and Silverlake.
Meet the Business Owner: Michele R.
Michele was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. Her love for animals started at the early age of 5, when she longed to be a veterinarian but when she discovered that she'd have to perform surgery or put animals to sleep she quickly changed her mind.
Michele always talked her parents into getting her every sort of pet, from cats to dogs, lizards to rabbits, birds, hamsters and even a duck. She loved them all, and just couldn't pick any favorites.
After finishing her Bachelors and Masters of Psychology in Florida, she traded one sunny state for another and moved out to Los Angeles to be closer to her family. It was here after finally leaving corporate America that she realized she could mold her fondness for animals and love of the outdoors into a career and pursue her dream of helping animals. Thus, The Pet Nannies was born!
