Hi everyone. I came here because my friend recommended this place for waxing. I met Linda and she is wonderful. I made an appoinment for a bikini wax but I also bought last minute a spa facial session. No watered down ingredients used on my skin only the good stuff like Dermalogica.
I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop. Linda is very kind and understanding.
I didn't get a chance to meet her staff but they were all friendly.
The staff did not speak another language all the time and I felt comfortable around them. Although I speak 2 other languages and support diversity it's important for any client to feel like "they aren't being bad mouthed."
I will come back again to get my hair cut by one of the other stylists. I'm curious what creations they have to offer.
There is even complimentary coffee. Also candy/treats if you sit still for a haircut.

I did not enjoy my experience here at all. At first I liked that their prices were affordable and that the lady seemed nice, but then she started doing my nails...
She cut my cuticle open and I bled all over my nail. She didn't wipe the blood away, she just unevenly painted over the bloody nail. It's like she noticed, but was trying to cover it up by swiftly painting the rest. While she was doing my manicure, she started nitpicking at my appearance, saying that my hair was too greasy, my ends were too dry, and that she could help fix that by giving me a good shampoo and haircut. Um, it looked greasy because I had just washed it 15 minutes before I got there and it was practically soaking wet! You'd think a cosmetologist would get that, right?
After my nails dried, I went to the back room for a brow wax. As I was getting on the bed, the lady actually had the nerve to say that I should go to the gym and try to lose some weight! I responded with "Excuse me?!" and she said that I was too pretty to be fat. If I weren't so desperate to get my brows cleaned up, I would've left right then and there. I told her that I didn't like them too thin and that I just wanted them to be cleaned up. She waxed pretty much half of my brow off! And lastly, to top it off, she told me I had terrible skin and that she could give me a great facial to fix that.
If you want cheap, unprofessional, and rude service, then by all means, go here now! -

This review is for a haircut by Joanne.
My aunt actually recommended her to me, and she was not disappointing. She was really nice and cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. When I showed up (which was actually about 5-10 min earlier than my appointment time), she was still working on someone else and was very apologetic for making me wait. I'll definitely be returning here for my haircuts. -

This is a new place set in a little strip mall on Freeport (Sutterville is the cross-street). They offer haircuts and color, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. The waxing lady (I forgot her name) does the best brow waxings. She is very thorough and uses all kinds of tools so you're left with a perfect shape. I have gotten a pedicure here and it was very clean, comfortable, relaxing, and the polish lasted a very long time. I will keep coming back to this place for all of my waxing and nail polishing needs.

Best place to have your nails done. Clean, they sterilize their tools, and they have OPI and China Glaze. Everyone is really sweet, even the other clients. I just had a basic manicure, and it Mary did a fabulous job cleaning up my cuticles, and they were a mess! There was a woman having her hair dyed blond and the color was amazing! I didn't get a facial, but they use Dermalogica for their facials. This is going to be my go to place for nails and next time I am going to try the brow waxing.
