Not sure what's shaking here I've shown up twice . No hours are posted they've been closed it is the height of fruit season Yelp and their Facebook page says they're open but they are not. Showed up at 3 p.m. on Sunday at 10 p.m. on Wednesday no signs of life except for a taco truck. This is the best Fruit Stand in Fresno when it's open in my opinion

Went for oranges but there was none lol I understand it's summer, and not orange season so the prices are a bit expensive. I've called and searched a few stores for oranges, and the best deal is Costco. You get 13 lbs for $10.99, and every single orange in the box is amazing. It's so good you could eat the peel with it. I haven't tried oranges at this store but I do know their oranges are a bit pricier than Costco's for a smaller box. Wish I got to see the size and quality. I did get to see their other fruits and veggies.....and was a little shocked that everything is outside and there is no indoor place. Not sure if I'd want to buy fruits and veggies that have been out for hours in Fresno's heat. They have a section of a mix of fruits and veggies that are going kind of bad for very cheap, I thought that was a good deal. And the customer service is great, really nice guy who works there.

Lots of good stuff and great prices, much lower than Vineyard Farmers market for sure. This isn't a real farmers market but it's a lot better than what you can get at the grocery stores.
It's great in the summer for tons of awesome grapes and plums. And, during the fall they have great oranges, of course.

Went in looking to buy just one orange. The guy working told me to pick one out. I did, he said enjoy, it's a sample! I offered to pay, but he wouldn't take my money. Great people working here, give them your business.

This is a fruit stand at the corner of Shaw and Maroa that seems to be an outlet for a company called Arnett Farms -- so it's probably not a true "farmers' market," which is the closest Yelp category I could find. Anyway, they have all sorts of tremendous fruit and produce at ridiculously low prices -- oranges, avocados, tomatoes, Asian pears, grapes. You can buy stuff either in pre-measured quantities (by the basket, by the flat, etc.), or if you just want to buy a couple of oranges, you can do that inside. I have no idea whether their stuff is organic, but it most definitely is always fresh, in season, and much better looking than what's at the local Slave-Mart.

I love living across the street from The Orange Store! Throughout the year, they offer a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at great prices. I've made a bolognese that was to die for with beautiful beefsteak tomatoes I found here, I discovered and fell in love with a variety of pluots (a delicious apricot/plum hybrid), and I've found some amazing white peaches - just to name a few of the treasures that keep me going back for more. I know I've only skimmed the surface of the incredible produce to be found at this store, so don't hesitate to stop any chance you get - you'll always find something!

Great prices, sold in basket quantities, some of the items are a little tired looking but got the best pineapple there. Outdoor market.

You can now find Cara pink oranges at Whole Foods but can't beat the prices here. Haven't yet found any other places that sell large-sized kiwis, pommelos, tangelos, and persimmons (when in season) like you can get here. This place is still tops in my humble opinion.

I love this place. The produce is always tasty and the staff is friendly. I really appreciate that the staff knows the product. For example, I was looking for oranges and was told, "these are good for juicing, these have easy to peel rind, these are the sweetest this week, and these have the largest pulp." Super helpful.

Weird that this is THE fruit store of Fresno, the fruit basket of the world. it's OK, but no Berkeley Bowl. Not even close. What gives? (Nice helpful salesman, but still.)
