I have not been here in years. But my parents and sisters have and say that it is still a wonderful place. I only have fond memories of dinners, brunches and of course my grandmothers birthday party here. Beautiful place.
The Mayflower is, by definition, a five star restaurant. The food is great. The price is ridiculous. Between me and my date, $140. That is without wine (damn my being underage). I recommend it for big dates, like a wedding. Unless you are super rich, don't go there often. It is still a great place to go, I recommend going at least once in your life. Another note; the service isn't as good if you are young or not a celebrity.
Excellent food, superb service and a charming environment. If you're looking for a nice, but more casual experience, book in the bar instead of the main dining room. The prices are extremely high, but for a special occasion or a treat, it's worth it.
