Come to the Marsh. It's chill, quiet and cozy. You can actually get some reading done without being distracted. Gavin is awesome. He's friendly, helpful and pours you that much needed coffee. He will even offer to ice it for you on these absurdly hot days. Nikki is so fun; she brings great positive energy to the room, and always makes you feel at home. It's a nice alternative to some of the other coffee shops in the area, that may or may not be so comfortable. And, on the days you feel a bit brain-dead, there are books and cheesy games like Battleship for you to play. Ask Gavin to play, but don't be sad if he destroys you.
It's a cute modest coffeshop. They don't have a huge sign, so it's kinda hard to spot them as a coffeeshop.
Staff is cool, all the drinks in the fridge are $1. I went Sunday afternoon, and there was a small performance, cool relaxing music that hit the spot for the mellow mood I was looking for.
They have also free wifi, but I didn't see a lot of power plugs~~
Really cute! I'll definitely go back to read or just write a few pages.
Nice little cafe next to The Marsh. Usual decor - nice art on the walls, a small stage, etc.
Coffee was not bad, but not great .. but only one dollar. yeah.
and free wifi.

This place is great. I went here with a group of people late on a weeknight we were going to stop at a more popular cafe down the block, but it was totally crowded and there were two laptops to every table.Instead we went back to this place that we walked past on our way to the busy place.
The Marsh was a far better place to hang out with some friends and hang out. for one, they have a large round table perfect for a group of 5-7(or 10 if you really like each other). and two they have a little stage where they obviously do performance of some kind, that would be cool to come back and check out some time.
also, the coffee was good, and they didn't kick us out even after they closed.

I headed to Ritual against my better judgment this afternoon. As I approached, I saw a sign to my left: "Free WiFi for Customers" outside a cute, quiet cafe called The Marsh Cafe. The place was empty, so I stepped inside, thanking the Gods for this discovery.
When some musicians started setting up for a perforrmance on the tiny stage, I decided to try Ritual again (what was I thinking?!) The place was, as usual, packed and uncomfortable, so I quicky retreated to my new favorite cafe, The Marsh.
I had the best soy cappuccino of my life here. The drinks and food are cheap, the Internet connection is great, and best of all: it's quiet. Thanks, Marsh.

I can't believe no one has reviewed this yet...
The Marsh Cafe is a little hidden gem (maybe that's why there are no reviews yet - I'm hoping whoever is keeping this place a secret won't come whack me in my sleep). The Marsh Cafe also serves as the box office for The Marsh theater, and the theater folks hang out there...which makes me feel all literary and shit.
Quiet, free and dependable wi-fi, it's a grad student's dream come true. Need to study without a lot of people around? Quiet music? Chocolate cake? This is your place. A clean bathroom and a staff that learns your name after only a few visits make this place a favorite for me.
When you're sick of the hipster/bedouin worker scene at Ritual Coffee Roasters down the street, come on down to The Marsh.
