Very cool spot.  One of my favorites in South Beach.  It's more rock n roll than Miami.  Never seen the rooms only partied at the bar.  Good music and very cool vibe.  The place is not huge and can get packed.  I would call The Marlin a boutique dive bar.

Hotel- The Marlin Hotel is a true boutique property with only 12 Suites. The 12 Suites are very big for South Beach Standards with the smallest being over 450SF. All of the suites are equipped with stainless steel kitchens, in-room bars, cd players, tv/vcrs and accommodating bathrooms featuring aveda lifestyle products.

Been here for parties for the WMC and it outdoor area is nice to kick back and schmooze with friends.  The indoor area, although remodeled recently, is still not very condusive for great dancing.
