5 Stars for one reason ... Lili's
Oh, there is also bunch of other stores around Lili's too, though I wish they would close so Lili's could expand ...
There is no food court, though there is plenty of good food just outside the mall. I wonder if Lili can cook? -

This mall died in my heart a long time ago.
Fun Fact: The GameStop used to smell like poo and nerd B.O. until they moved into a new storefront a few years back.
There are fewer and fewer stores every time I visit. Even The Gap left for greener pastures. Although there was a brand-new DSW rip-off when I was there last that appeared to be getting decent foot traffic.
Wife likes to go for JC Penney's and Macy's, I tolerate it for either a)Auntie Anne's pretzels, b)DQ milkshakes, or c) the possibility of going to the nearby Newbury Comics afterwards.
It will do in a pinch, but overall... eeeeeeeeeeeeeh. Its glory days are far behind it. -

I like this mall because it is small and easy to navigate.
It has your average anchor stores, Macy's, Sears, and JC Penney's. Add to that Circuit City amd Old Navy and it's a nice combination. They also have the standards for most malls, Hot Topic, Spencers, Victoria's Secret, and the always necessary Friendly's Restaurant so that you don't fit into anything at Vickie's Secret.
My favorite place to come has been Bitten at Steve & Barry's. Although by the time I get their they no longer have anything in my size -- it's nice to know that I have optons. Bless SJP's little heart that she thinks every woman is entitled to have some affordable fashion in her life.
The food court -- well, isn't a court really. Auntie Annie's, Orange Julius/Dairy Queen, and a small coffee place is it. The Golden Arches vacated last I knew.
Not a bad place to stop if Route 2 traffic comes to a complete stop -- which happens frequently :) -

Only visit this mall when Im visiting the Bestie in Fitchburg... Went yesterday for the Play Yard...Our kids ran around for a little bit... Have yet to actually SHOP in this mall... Once ran to Bath & Body Works, but only really run here for our boys to play in the yard... Seems to be an ok place, just not much selection...

Complete slum.

I feel dirty whenever I walk in there. -

Oh, Searstown .. wait! The Mall at Whitney Field. I'll never bring myself to call it by it's new name, I guess. I'm not even sure as to where this Whitney Field is, exactly. However, the review must go on.
I lived in Leominster most of my life, and I have some fond (and not so fond) memories attached to this mall. My dad would take my sister and I to the toy stores here every weekend, for maybe 4 years. Until we reached an age where it was just unacceptable to be seen in public with our parents! That's when going to Searstown (doh! The Mall at Whitney Field) became an event, every Friday night. Middle school students from all around Central Mass would pour into the mall from 8pm-close. That is, if they made it until close. Most of them would get kicked out for loitering, or stealing underwear their parents most likely wouldn't approve of. Once the mall security wrangled all of these punks out of the stores, they moved on to bigger and better things, ie: the movie theater next door. So if I have any legitimate advice to give, I'd say avoid the mall on Friday and Saturday during these hours. It will be cluttered with loud and foul-mouthed pre-teens.
As far as actual shopping goes, it's "so-so". Department stores include: Macy's, Sears, and JCPenny. The food court is one big clusterfuck. I'd be embarrassed to introduce an out-of-towner to The Mall at Whitney Field's food court, because it's hardly that. There's a Dairy Queen, Subway, Sbarro's, Auntie Anne's, and a generic/mediocre Chinese (perhaps Japanese) restaurant. If you're hungry after a day of shopping, I suggest going outside and around the corner to Panera Bread. There are lots of fast food joints surrounding the mall, which is convenient for those who are getting off of route 2, however it's a long walk (or an unnecessary drive) for shoppers. Chopsticks is down the street, too. Yum!
There has been talk about expanding The Mall at Whitney Field and creating a second level. But last I heard, that is not possible due to the land not being able to support the building, resulting in a sinking shopping mall. Bummer! I've been awaiting an H&M, Brookstone, or Lush. I will continue to dream.
All in all, a convenient place for last-minute gifts, or a quick shoe-shopping fix. Three stars! -

This mall is oooookay. It's pretty much the only mall thats close to me. Not too many stores to choose from. I pretty much just shop at Macys but even the Macys doesn't have that much of a selection.
