Ardenwood Farms does an amazing job of transforming 8 acres of cornfields into a maze. Not to mention on Friday and Saturday nights they have a bunch of little high schoolers dress up to try to scare you. They definitely got a couple of good screams out of me this past year. Somehow I managed to get talked into wearing my skimpy little corsetted bunny suit so I "hopped my way" through the maze. Best part yet... in the center of the maze while waiting for my friends to show up, I managed to scare a group of teeny boppers into screaming their heads off. They turned around to go "oh... it was just a bunny...."

And who knows... maybe I'll get a red corset this coming Halloween and go as a devil.

It no longer exists, it was only in the fall, but apparently they stopped having it at all.  The woman on there (on the phone) said they have not done it for 2 or 3 years and they will not be having it again.  No explanation given, but I think it's a shame.

It doesn't exist!!! I think they're only open seasonally so better call their number first and see what the recording says. We went here last night and we were at the Ardenwood Blvd. and Kaiser intersection with no sign of the Maze anywhere. It was sooo weird. We circled around the block and finally figured out that empty parking lot across Amgen bldg (in that intersection) is where they use to have or where they put up that Maze. Too bad, we were all excited about it. So, we decided to check out City Beach in Fremont and head out to Santana Row after. Cornfield maze will be super fun - I wish they'll just keep it year-round.

Hells yeah! If you can put up with other families and their crotch fruit this is a pretty fun maze. My advice? Go at night so you can scare the bejesus out of unsuspecting folks.

This attraction is alright. It's important for people reading this to understand that it's not like the Maize Maze is open year-round, it's only open in the weeks leading up to Halloween as the farm harvests its fields. It's one of the seasonal attractions Ardenwood hosts, which also include the pumpkin patch and that weird ghost train thing. It's pretty fun, although it's full of your typical obnoxious teens from Newark Memorial, both in costume trying to scare the crap out of you and as customers in the maze (this year was my last year being one of them). The novelty of it wears off after about an hour or so, though, so be sure you have something thought out to go do after you get bored of walking in geometric patterns.
