The service and treatment I receive at the M Day Soa is very good. Miri is caring, concerned about my skin condition, my skin status and takes good care of my skin. Sometimes, if she feels there is an existing issue about my skin, she makes a recommendation as to what is necessary to do in order to ensure the issue at hand is handled and treated effectively. I trust my aesthetician and am very comfortable
and receptive in receiving treatment(s) from her. I recommend this spa to anyone with all skin types and skin ailments and issues. Please reach out to your family, friends and other contacts and make an appointment.

I've been coming to M for over a year, and it's the best! Miri is amazing, she always knows what my skin needs. I came in with pretty bad acne and since coming it's gotten better.

I had very bad acne scarring, and over the last year of visiting Marcelle, it has 100% changed for the better. She also removes skin tags and small white bumps around eyes that I thought I would have forever. She is so kind and careful always making sure I'm feeling ok with the different treatments. They have a great skin care line too. Definitely the best of Beverly Hills. Thank you so much!

Aug 26, 2013Previous reviewWhenever I enter Marcel's calming, healing spa, I immediately feel at peace... The yummy nuts and raisins, the lemon water. The sounds of a quietly running fountain.
And then, when I enter the room for my facial, it honestly feels as much a spiritual experience as it does a skin healing. She handles you with such delicacy and she listens to you and asks questions that make you feel as if she is family. I would never ever go anywhere else.
Her spa feels like home.
And -- she sometimes feels like a good witch, with all of her amazingly fresh scented potions that cool and energize and open up your skin.
The whole experience for me feels like way more than money could ever buy. It's like being with family, healing your skin, your heart and awakening the beauty in her face!

She feels like the mother everyone wants -- she is kind and pretty and she cares, deeply cares, about her clients. She proceeded to give me a facial and I have come back every few months for two different peels, another facial and I have bought many of her products, which are absolutely fantastic!
My skin has not glowed this way since college! I was just home in NJ visiting my family and my Dad left me a voicemail telling me how much my skin glows and how youthful and vibrant I look!
I am more confident than I was before about my skin -- I have no desire to cover it up -- only to let people see my glow.
I have gotten the green peel and an even more intense one, both of which have sloughed off the dead skin to reveal that young, tight, glowing skin of mine that was bursting to come through!
Her spa is clean and quiet, with running water and a helpful, friendly staff. She exudes an air of love and health and warmth.
I am forever grateful to have met her and I am thrilled that I have a facialist in Los Angeles whom I trust wholeheartedly.
Do yourself a favour and check her out! She will work wonders on your skin... and your confidence.

Let's also not forget about her platform sandals that turn heads as she enters the room and make her walk majestically as if floating on a cloud. She commands all eyes, hearts, and souls.

I was always nervous to do any stronger treatments with the fear that I would fall into the wrong hands. However, the minute I walked in I was greeted by Miri. As part of the consultation she educated me about my acne and acne pigmentation as well as the realistic healing and expectations from the chemical peel. She was so incredibly knowledgeable, kind snd patient to answer all of my concerns and questions about starting this treatment. The whole process with Miri has put 10 years of fear to rest and have finally found a place that I feel comfortable .

I have never left a negative review in my life, but I had a facial with extractions of milia done here a little over a month ago, and from the moment I left, it was clear that the owner had "extracted" one of the spots WAY too intensely/harshly/and borderline incorrectly. It was not healing properly and I was in an unusual amount of pain. I called her a couple of days later & left a voicemail to let her know how it was (not) healing and that it looked like it would be scarring - when she called me back she was incredibly rude, curt, and dismissive. Said "well it had to be removed so... sorry if you wanted to 'go out this weekend' just cover it up with makeup." :O
I was shocked and now over 4 weeks later, there is still a scar which I will probably have to spend hundreds of dollars on to UN-DO and remove. Very, very disappointed by my experience here, but even more so by the dismissive and negative attitude I received after the fact.

Hi Halle,
First and foremost, we would like to apologize greatly for your experience with us. Our main goal is to have all of our clients leaving our spa feeling beautiful with a happy and healthy skin. Your main concern before the facial was regarding your milia, in which one of them was already infected prior to your facial. Each person has a different healing process, while some people may heal faster or slower than others, it is all normal. Your skin is currently experiencing some hyperpigmentation issues, which is typically caused by an increase in melanin production, slowing down the healing process. This is not anything abnormal or worrisome. The brown discoloration that is shown in the picture that you posted is your skins natural way of healing from the infection that was sitting on your skin for so long. In addition, you had also mentioned that you had plans to go out that weekend, so we had decided to make the educated decision by doing a simple signature facial which is specifically not heavy on extraction. This is because we did not want to irritate your already sensitive skin even more, or to leave any scarring. We do apologize that the facial that you had received was no up to par with your expectations. There are ways to take care of this hyperpigmentation issue, which is why we tried to reach out to take care of your concern but unfortunately, there was no response. - Robyn F.San Francisco, CA02Dec 2, 2023
