Review from Delilah D.
Saugatuck, MI
My top beer favorites are Tubros Pale, Ramblin Amber, and Coal Porter. My husband loves the Oval Beach Blond. The best sandwich is by far the salami, but I suggest getting it on the swirled rye instead of the focaccia bread. :) The meat and cheese platter and the giant pretzels are also very yummy. The Lucky Stone usually has live music on Saturdays, and also host a dart league, and once-a-month Irish sessions (every 3rd tuesday). During the summer months, there is a nice outdoor seating area. The best part is the pub is non-smoking!! Back beer hall can host larger events like big concerts, or weddings. Wine will be available soon also I believe (spring/summer 2009)

We came to the Lucky Stone to try some new beers and my experience was great. They have flights which was very exciting for a couple looking to try new beers. The Neapolitan Stout was defiantly one of the most memorable beers. We did have an IPA that tasted watery & flat. When we asked the bartender if there was something wrong, she said no and it's supposed to be like that. Besides the IPA water everything we tried was good. They also had growlers for sale which was very cool. I will defiantly come back next time I'm in town to try more.

This place was awesome. Try the fish 'n chips! The Molly's Irish Ale is the best beer I've had in a long time.

If you're searching for the Saugatuck Brewery, this is the connected Pub. The great (if obvious) beer choice near Saugatuck. Love their Singapore IPA, which is in league with Short's HumaLupaLicious, although much more mellow. Great Live music when I was in there, and a friendly ambiance. I will be back.

I heart tubros pale!!! After a lazy afternoon in Saugatuck we ventured over to the lucky stone pub (saugatuck brewery) for a couple cold ones. With some wonderful service from Inga we weren't sure how we were going to keep our beer consumption to a two beer minimum. Looking forward to our next trip to the Saugatuck area. Man we love beer!
