Our GPS brought us to the place next door (same side of the street) and ohh what a difference 1/5 of a mile makes! We were on a very spur of the moment road trip this winter and found The Lodge (iPhone). We booked the room online at 2am through their website without any issues.

We stayed in the executive suite, which was pretty damn cool and only ran us $330 for two nights over the New Year. Yeah I know, $330 isn't all that cheap for a road trip and a motel and in the off season. Well this road trip turned into a special occasion and shoot it was the bloody "executive suite". Really relaxing spot with a nice jacuzzi tub and two head shower to use after miles and miles of hiking into (and OUT of) the canyon.

We'd definitely come back and I do recommend it to others, unless you are going when we return.

The place across the street has some seriously good mini donuts! Ya know, the whole town of Williams is awesome and friendly - assuming you aren't a dill.

I loved this place!! I found it on the Chamber of Commerce website for Williams when i was looking for a motel to stay at for our weekend trip to the grand canyon. I called a few times because i had to add rooms for friends. This motel and The Downtowner are owned by the same person who remodeled both. The lodge is done South Western and really done right! We had the single queen suite. It had a living room w/ couch that pulled out to a queen bed. It also had a swivel chair, tv w/ dvd player and a small kitchenette that had a small high dining table w/ 2 bar stools. counter tops, mini fridge and microwave. It was nice because we could all hang out in the room before heading out to town. The bedroom  was really nice with a high queen bed that you have to jump into and it was really, really comfy! nice tiled bathroom w/ 2 sinks and then closed toilet and shower.

Our friends rooms were also really nice. One had a single queen and the others had 2 queens.

Outside was a nice covered patio with fireplace (not real wood burning) and had heat lamps. Unfortunately we couldn't get them turned on and the office was closed. oh well.

Overall we all thought we picked the best place in the entire town to stay. you walk to everything. The owners sister Theresa runs the place and is real nice and down to earth. Really nice, fun lady! the total for 2  nights in the queen suite was 260.00. We ended up staying an extra night and going to Sedona for the day the next day. I would definatley recommend this motel.
