I live down the street from The Little Laptop Shop and I HIGHLY recommend it. I've been there twice. Once, my old PC laptop wouldn't turn on. They fixed it almost immediately. After it crashed, they also helped me get the files back out so I didn't lose everything.
Today, my MacBook was having problems restarting -- I was freaking out. They were so friendly and helpful and helped me fix the problem very fast. Also gave me some tips on external hard drives.
One of the guys who works there is called "The Computer Whisperer" and it was pretty amazing. It totally saved my day from being ruined by a broken computer.
I had also just come from the Whole Foods where the checkout girl was super rude, so it was even better that they were so laid back and helpful. Thanks!
I bought a used MAC laptop here recently.
It is everything they said it would be, it came with a warranty of course, the questions I had before and after the purchase were answered by a very patient knowledgeable guy and when I broke something on the computer that could have cost a lot to replace (only because I had tried repairing it myself-brilliant-lol) The guy who works their fixed it in a few minutes saving me the expense of a new part, I never expected it could be fixed, I was not asking for that when I went in to the store. He just offered to try and fix it, if I wanted him to try.
If you go to their site you will see they have a wide range of laptops and they are not so expensive. I also like that even though they offer so much and you can try everything out, it is a small place, friendly. I have never found it crowded, active but not crowded.
I wish they would buy the little place next door, break through the wall and set up a juice bar so i could hang out at the Little Laptop Shop, I really like this place. lol

A few days after spilling juice all over my macbook, I decided to bring it in after my friend recommended The Little Laptop Shop. (I didn't do anything about it since the macbook was still working right after being soaked - stupid, I know.) I was torn between this place and Tekserve, but since the latter charges $250 plus tax for spill cleaning, I decided to take my chances with the former, which only charges $39 for the same service.
The counter guy was super friendly and helpful. He didn't give me attitude about my using the computer right after the spill and not bringing it in earlier. He said that the technician would clean and see if anything needed repair and that they would call w/in 3 days. He also assured me that they wouldn't perform any repairs unless I gave them the green light.
They didn't call me after 3 days. I called on the 4th day, and they said that the technician would call me back by the end of the day. That didn't happen either. So the next day I called again, and they said that the technician would definitely call the same day. He did this time and said that I could pick up my macbook. They said that I was really lucky that nothing had to be repaired. The keyboard is not the same, obviously - a little sticky, but they didn't push to replace it.
I got the impression that they were really honest, which is a great relief. Honesty + more than fair prices + good customer service = 5 stars (despite their not calling me back as promised)...
