I wanted to find a place around town that wasn't Bar-B-Cutie or Whitts, so my husband and I found went in search one day and found The Lazy Pig in LaVerne. It's just a little mom and pop joint just off of Murfreesboro Road. The guys working were talking about four wheeling this upcoming weekend, which made me laugh, and two men that reminded me of my brothers chowed down at a near by table while we waited on our order.

The sandwich was so, so good. I think I'll ask for just a tad more sauce on our next visit, but I love that they don't overrun the meat with it. At $2.49 for a sandwich and $6.49 for a plate, it may seem a little steep, but they have family plans that allow you to get a lot of meat and a couple sides for around $11.99. Not bad.

They even had pig ears for sale for the dog. Cute.
