What an interesting & unexpected sculpture park - spread over large grounds, with QR codes to scan for info & to make donations.
There was a lot to see & you certainly can't beat the price. We spent about 2hrs, as 6 eclectic & eccentric adults, wandering about and discovering.
We didn't read up prior to going, as we didn't KNOW we were going until we went.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 11, 2023
Welcome to Doctor Evermor's Sculpture Park, aka "World of Dr. Evermor."
I've been to Lakenenland Sculpture Park in Marquette Michigan which is similar but not nearly as extensive as Forevertron. This is definitely the works of someone with a lot of time, a lot of welding experience and a bunch of money to enjoy their hobby.
Lots of interesting sculpture works and a few things that haunted my dreams for a few days. The park is completely free and donations are appreciated. Don't miss it.

This is such a random place, but if you happen to be driving near on a road trip, it is completely worth the stop. The sculptures are beautiful and awe inspiring and our kids enjoyed running through the area pointing things out.
And if you like shopping, the surplus store next door is totally worth a walk through too!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 26, 2021
I am so glad we swing by this sculpture park!! The admission is free, so you may not expect too much, but this park is extremely high quality and you're in for a surprise! It's about 30 minutes outside of Madison, and it's SO worth the drive!
It's a small family owned park with tons of sculptures that have been created from various scrap metal pieces. The pieces range from a small portable size to as enormous as a house. Some pieces should not be touched, and other pieces are interactive and could be played like a musical instrument. You can tell that each piece of art has been crafted with dedication and love by "Dr. Evermore" and his family. Even though the park was small and it was raining and cold out, we spent a good 1.5 hours at this park admiring all of the beautiful and wonderous art pieces!!
Lady Elanor (Dr. Evermore's wife) was present at the park when we visited. She was sitting inside a small van in the park that served as a giftshop. I was surprised to learn that some of the pieces were for sale. She told us a little about her family and the pieces, which was interesting.
I highly recommend anyone in the Madison area to go for a visit. If you can spare it, remember to bring some cash! Although admission is free, they accept donations, and I think it's definitely worth donating to this magical little park!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Susan W.Saint Louis, MO7519Jul 11, 2022
Wow. Just wow... This place is a bit hard to find, the turn off not well marked but the adventure is so worth the effort. Park under the trees and then walk into the most surreal metal creation ever. This is the life work of one imaginative man! His family continues to carry the torch and friends caretaker the amazing sculptures.

This place is simply magical. I've brought out-of-town family here whenever they visit me & it's always a fun thing to do. It truly feels like being transported to another world. These sculptures are lifelike in the sense that you can vividly imagine how they would move - Dr. Evermor brought these creatures to life while also maintaining the recognizability of their components which is quite an artistic feat. I'd recommend visiting to anyone- even if you're not into art.
Make sure to stop by & talk to Lady Evermor too. She'll fill you in on the rich story behind the sculptures.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jennifer C.Milwaukee, WI171459661Jul 28, 2021

I heard about Forevertron about a month ago when my sister and I were both planning separate trips back to Wisconsin for a visit.
How have I never heard of it before?!
There isn't a particularly noticeable sign. You pretty much need to actively be looking for it. Our GPS took us to the parking lot of Delaney's Surplus, which is right next door. You maaaay be able to walk through over to Forevertron, but if you go back out on the Highway, and take the next place to turn in, there is an area to park at the actual place.
And then you enter the magical, weird world of Forevertron!
It is actually a smaller area that I expected it would be, but no less spectacular.
It is hard to describe....junkyard meets sculpture garden meets art park....it is fascinating and wonderful!
An enormous piece of whimsy in the center of it all (I only wish it was possible to climb around on it!), an office in a bus, a huge grill, and the coolest of the lot (in my opinion) an artsy creature orchestra!
If you are into the Roadside Americana kind of thing, enjoy having a story about the weird things you have seen, or enjoy outsider art you are going to LOVE this place.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jul 10, 2017
What can you say about this place that does it justice? Over-the-top? Super creative? Funky? Kitschy? A must stop no matter how you describe it. A real piece of Americana.
I love places like this which are so fun given they are so authentic. This free (donations welcomed) attraction just south of Baraboo is worth 30 minutes of your time. Wander around the sculptures and marvel at the creative use of everyday items and discarded junk.
It is a bit hard to spot off of Hwy 12 - just look for Delaney's on the west side of 12 and the "art park" entrance is a bit south. You should also stop in Delaney's because it is also worth a visit because you will never see a more random collection of surplus and over-stock items for sale.
What a great combo tourist stop these two places are for those who like off-beat attractions.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
