The Knuckle Saloon has gone through a number of revisions and updates over the past year.
It has grown larger and even picked up a liquor license a few years ago to increase it's client base throughout the year.
During the Rally, it is a great place to check out everything from live music to promotional fights to even bull riding...
During the rest of the year (yes they are open year round), it is a relaxing local bar that offers great drink specials and occasional live entertainment. -

Had lunch here while in the area for work. Burger, fries, iced tea. Typical bar food. The fries were really good, although not cut in house. Menu has a full pound burger called the Knuckle Sandwich.
The service was good and our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We came in wearing coats and ties, but were made to feel quite welcome. Loved the sign at the entrance banning weapons and (gang) colors. -

Local flavor in the form of a knuckle sandwich? Actually, the joints burgers-knuckle sandwiches-are pretty good.
Back to local flavor-here you've got it all for Sturgis-rowdy, bikers, extreme fighting, raucous crowds, live music, etc.
Not my regular scene but cool to sample, no? The saloon's name wins hands down as a classic biker bar. -
