Review from Geoff D.
I've bought my share of Klutz products over the years, but never knew they had a store until last weekend when my wife brought the kids and me here last weekend for a bead-melting event(!). Turns out the good people at Klutz have not only a very cool little toy store here, but also a large backyard where they host free arts & crafts events for kids somewhat regularly. This weekend's bead-melting event was a great 90 minute activity for my little guys (6, 4, 2).
As we were wrapping up, several junior-high aged boys showed up for the juggling club that is apparently also hosted here. So we stuck around for another 20-30 minutes since my kids were having fun just watching the big guys throw all manner of pins, blocks and balls around.
The store itself is packed with cool toys and books for kids of all ages; I will definitely be back soon for birthday shopping and what-not. I feel obligated to note that this is not a fancy place - the store is small and the yard is pretty dusty and overgrown - but somehow for me that just added to the appeal in the otherwise manicured world of Palo Alto shopping.Listed in: Peninsula Toy Stores

Being as that I am a ten-year-old girl, I find the Klutz store to be one of the coolest places in the universe. The Klutz books kind of defined my entire childhood, and I still get a kick out of the ridiculous publications they produce. If someone said, "HEY JESSIKA HERE IS THE ENTIRE LIBRARY OF KLUTZ BOOKS FOR FREE!" I would probably say, "WOW THAT IS SO COOL I LOVE KLUTZ THANK YOU."

Klutz makes a fabulous collection of books and kits for kids. Getting to browse at this location means you get to see their wide variety of wonderful offerings. I would highly recommend shopping here for kids from elementary age up through the early teen years, and a lot of adults.

It's sad the store is closing by Jan 31st. But the good news is you can still find a bargain. The day I went there was $8 jumbo juggling balls for $1. These are perfect for stage performances. Also $90 sets of professional juggling clubs were on discount for $50. Too many bargains to list but if you can make it there it'll be worth the trip.

They have every single Klutz product you could ever want, and probably several you didn't know existed. The staff knows their stuff and will help you find what you're looking for.
