7 reviews for The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center
Stayed here for business for a week. The beds are very comfy - love the sheets. My room, however, was ridiculously far from the elevators - all the way at the end of the hallway. I would definitely try to get a room closer to the elevators if I'm ever back here.
They definitely had gadget loving business travelers in mind for the rooms as there were ample electrical outlets for my roommate and I. The desk even had electrical outlets, which was handy because I didn't need to unplug any lamps just to charge my cellphone. The Aveda toiletries were a nice surprise - products that I would actually use at home.
The buffets were okay. Decent attempts to offer variety to the more sophisticated business traveler palate. Their strong points lay more in their cold salads and desserts.
For some relaxation, the pool is nice but I much prefer the hot tub. The hot tub is the biggest I've ever been in. You can probably fit 12 people comfortably in there.
If you're dying to get out from the hotel, there is a shuttle that can take you to anywhere within a 5 mile radius, which is great if you need a ride to the train station to go to downtown Denver. Or you can bring your golf clubs and try out the picturesque golf course.

I stayed here for two nights. The price was right, through Expedia. Valet service was free with the room, a plus. The 4th floor room was large, quiet and overlooked the golf putting range. I was surprised there was wine but no booze in the mini-bar. Colorado law? Also, no robe in the room, otherwise fine. The Happy hour at the Spotted Dog was busy and cheap. The appetizers at Baca were superb, and a nice selection of wine flights to try. Cuidado: If it's not included with your room, the breakfast bar, nothing special, is $27! The service everywhere was smart and gracious.
The rooms were comfy and clean but it is a 40 minute drive from the airport and bring a magazine or book there is nothing to see on the highway either. I was here for a two day training and there is nothing to do; NOTHING. I mean I had no idea it was in the middle of no where. I am not a golfer and probably will not be in my life time. They do have a spa on site but get this they had only one person on site working and my colleague and I both wanted a spa treatment ; too bad:( Totally lost our business!

Are you staying for business in lovely Englewood, CO? Then this is a decent place to stay. I like that there is a restaurant and bar on site. That's important when you are attending a very boring conference. The rooms were adequate but not amazing. The best part is the Aveda toiletries. Nice touch. Lots of cable channels to while away the time. Bad shower pressure. All in all a very business-y and adequate place.

Stayed here for work for a week and it's a nice place. It is quite far from DIA (about 40 minute drive) but the rooms are decent, staff helpful and friendly, and very relaxing. It is a bit in the "boonies" so if you don't have a car, it could be an issue, but the hotel does have a nice shuttle bus that can take you to and from any place within 5 miles. Food is typical fare - nothing special. Very nice looking golf course behind the center (too bad I don't play golf). All in all, a decent experience.
update: I forgot, I have to deduct a star for them not having toilet seat covers in their toilet stalls!
Great value. I've stayed here numerous times and have always enjoed this place. Nice golf course too.

Have had the chance to stay at the Inverness a bunch of times for work. I have always found it a reliable, friendly hotel and it is great for a meeting location as well.
Although it is a bit far from Downtown Denver and DIA, if you have business near the Tech Center it is a fine choice. The rooms are well furnished and good-sized. I haven't played golf at the Inverness but the grounds are gorgeous in both the winter and summer.
The bar downstairs has a cool sports-theme with pool tables, tvs and sports jerseys decorating the place. The buffet and meals that I've had at the hotel have all been fine as well.
The business center is nothing fancy but is helpful when you are on the road. The surrounding neighborhood has some decent malls and restaurants if you want to get away from the campus. All in all, definitely a good bet. Too bad it isn't part of a bigger hotel chain-- no hotel points program! :(
