i was actually looking for the lakehouse grill review, but there's none?
anyways, i didn't stay at the hotel, but i had a wonderful lunch meal there, walked around the inn, by the lake, it was in May and the scenery was excellent.
the food was really nice... enjoyed it by the lake was really romantic - just i was on a business trip, booo.... oh well!
heard the place is actually a great vacation spot, either winter or spring - strongly recommend this restaurant for everyone visiting!

We had a perfect stay! We booked online using a Travelzoo special. It was 139 a night for a room with a balcony overlooking the lake and a fireplace and king size bed. The room was very nice, clean and cozy but roomy. The bathroom was very nice. It looked like it had been recently remodeled. I will say that the walls are very thin, the couplel staying next to us had a small child and we heard everything!
Check in was smooth and quick. The woman working the desk gave us helpful info and called to make a dinner reservation at Lakehouse Grille.
We enjoyed the outside hot tub all to ourselves.
It was a great mini vaca and we are sure to come back in the fall.

The Inns at Mill Falls is part of an entire hotel, shopping, restaurant and event area right on the lake in Meredith.
Mill Falls is a fantastic hotel. The service was outstanding. I docked a star for bad bathrooms. The Holiday Inn has a better shower head. And the towels could use an upgrade as well.
The Inn has a number of packages which are a reasonable savings as well. There is also a spa which we didn't have a chance to check out this time.
If you are looking for a semi-local weekend getaway, even the winter, this is a great spot.

This is a nice place to stay, but not great. The first thought I had once I got into my room was, well I've stayed in places I've paid more that weren't as nice, and place that were much nicer that cost me a lot less.
To begin with the good, check in was fast and easy. You can spend a whole weekend in the hotel without ever having the go outside [although I don't know you would want to], as the hotel is attached to the shops and restaurants of Mill Falls. The parking is good. The views of the Lake are priceless.
Now the down side, I was checked into a room, given my key only to open the door, and find that the room hadn't been cleaned. I wasn't offered another room, I was told to go shopping for an hour, while they found someone to clean my room [hello this is not a way to make a happy customer]. My room once it was cleaned was nice if a little small. The bathroom is nothing to write home about, the bed could use an update of bedding, it has definitely seen its better days.
I don't think I would stay here again, but I have hope and would try one of their other properties.
