This place absolutely sucks. First of all, the re-enactments of Jesus getting crucified is honestly worst than I imagined, and I have watched a lot of Jesus movies. This place makes me want to convert into atheism because the people visiting this park are way over their heads with this park. They act like they are brainwashed into thinking that showing your toddler Jesus crying in pain while being tortured in front of them is okay. My younger sister ended up crying louder than the Jesus actor because it was that TRAUMATIZING. Then there is the park itself. I get that you want to make it seem like you are in Jerusalem, but at least make it beautiful. It honestly looks like Jesus took a gigantic dump and smeared it all over Orlando. To emphasize the atmosphere of the place, imagine being in Africa but you only see the tiny villages that the stereotypical people say is only in Africa instead of seeing the actual infrastructure it has to offer. It looks run down, kind of like an abandoned city in Europe. And I would love to emphasize the atmosphere of the people that come to this "park". The people here are actually chronically insane. They are literally on their knees praising the lord about how lavish this park is while completely ignoring the fact that the building they are kneeling near might collapse on them any minute. It also feels like they drag their whole family to this deserted place because I walked past this group of kids looking bored out of their minds while their (what I think is their) parent start basically skipping around their faithful lord and crossing their hearts every two seconds. I felt really bad for those kids. I wonder what their household is like? After being their for a solid two hours and witnessing Jesus being crucified TWICE, my family and I decided it was time to leave the filthy joint where there were people selling cocaine near the entrance and went to the nearest hotel to take a swim. I honestly had more fun at my sister's Girl Scout badging ceremony than I did at this place. Would not recommend, even to really religious elders.

My Holy Land experience was lovely and lived up to why I was expecting. My mom and I spoke about visiting since last year. I'm thankful I have as able to treat her for her birthday! We began our day driving down from Jacksonville. The park opens at 10, and the reenactment productions start around 11:15am. I recommend eating a large meal prior or stopping to get something before you go. Other than the salad, which was over priced, there's biblical pizzas and hamburgers and cornbread to eat.
We found ourselves running around the park the whole time as we even planned out which "shows" we'd like to see. Most of the park staffers are helpful but there are a lot of rules to obey by. We still were trying to finish figure out why they cleaned people out between shoes in the hot heat.
Last thing, the "Jesus" in the production prayed for people and tears began to stream down. Wonderful.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - May 7, 2018
The Holy Land Experience 2/7/18 15/100
Our trips to Florida are always centered on visiting family, friends and enjoying the amazing climate. We usually try to squeeze in a visit to Disney with my Mom and or go see the Ocean! This trip, we finally made it to The Holy Land Experience, and we are so glad that we did.
We noticed immediately that they do not charge to park, so that saved us money right away! This day was not crowded at all, and we were able to walk the property freely and easily meeting all the staff and actors as they were. All the staff we met were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. So armed with our map and schedule we started off on our adventure.
The shows were scheduled in a way that allowed us to visit other areas in between performances. They followed a theme but if you missed one you could still enjoy them. We found them to be very well staged and casted and were very impressed with the caliber of actors we saw. They brought our loved Bible stories to life and they sang with such heart that we felt the presence of The Holy Spirit with every show. The actors voices were amazing! Some of them with operatic skills that brought me to tears. I would also encourage anyone to visit this park because where two or more are gathered He is there (Matthew 18:20), and we truly felt His presence and were praying with every performance...so you never know what is in store for you and your family (-;
All of the shows were appropriate for our 5yr old to attend, which was a joy to see as he lit up with every performance, except for the final one. The crucifixion was shown on a video screen and though not terribly graphic, it was dramatic enough that we felt for our son it just was not the right time for him to see it. I would suggest they label it for mature audiences on the program because the content was strong and I wasn't sure since I could not find any information to accurately describe what we would see. It would be helpful to include this kind of note so parents can make decisions about which shows to bring the very young to enjoy. There were other families there with young children as well and I am confident they made the correct decision for their needs.
They have a lovely area for children with mini golf and scheduled activities. We spent some time here enjoying the life size versions of Jonah and the fish, and Moses and the Red Sea. We also had a personal moment with some of the actors featured that day. They were very kind and open about their faith, asking those posing for photos if they knew and/or had their own relationship with Jesus. They did not miss an opportunity to witness to the guests, and we thought this was very important as part of our visit.
The food we enjoyed was delicious and affordable for our family of three. They had Gluten Free snack options at the Coan Bistro. We enjoyed a hot meal at Esther's Banquet Hall of brisket with roasted potato, vegetables and mac n'cheese. All the dining areas were clean and the restrooms were immaculate.
We had planned on leaving after 3-4 hours but stayed until closing and STILL did not get to see everything! It was such an enjoyable day for us and I highly recommend visiting this treasure in Orlando to see all of the Bible come alive! We look forward to returning next time we are in Florida. Thank you all for a wonderful Holy Land Experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Having been raised in a Christian Household and being a believer in Jesus myself, this place was new to me and yet felt like home.
Let me first be very clear, this is NOT an amusement park. The Holy Land Experience (HLE) is a house of worship and a center of enlightenment and of Biblical education. HLE re-creates historically significant Biblical points of interest in Jerusalem and Israel. The entirety of HLE is to bring the visitor into a place of understanding of Christianity's historical roots. Likewise, HLE displays and exhibits one of the world's largest private collections of authentic, ancient artifacts, manuscripts, Bibles and other archeological archives.
The main show case of my trip to the HLE was the story of King David. It was a 3 hour broadway style play (held in the main theatre), that I felt I was apart of! You can interact with the actors and the whole place has a welcoming feel. Upon arrival, they HLE greeters give you an agenda for the day. This way you know where and when shows will be performing and you can plan your day accordingly. The HLE is a full day. It is emotionally moving and totally worth the roughly $50 entrance fee. I hope my pictures do it justice.Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 7Oh no 0 - Lady D R.Copper Lakes, Houston, TX227299Jan 11, 2020
Logistics:
Parking is $10 and they accept cash or credit card. Tickets are $50 for adults and $35 for youth. You can either purchase your ticket on-site at Guest Services or www.holylandexperience.com. Make sure you allow yourself enough time to see all the attractions - inside and outside shows, guided tours, eat, walk around and etc.
They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. They are opened Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm.
Some of the performances can range from 30 to 45 minutes and they start on time. When you enter the facility you can pick up a map with all the locations throughout the park and the shows times for the day. Food prices are reasonable and they have multiple food places for you to purchase a full meal and/or snacks.
The 3 part performances in The Church of All Nations is excellent. Great acting and the singing was AMAZING in my opinion. There is a concession area inside and a 15-minute interim between each performance.
We did The Scriptorium 55 minute guided tour and it was well worth it. The last tour is at 4:30 pm so make sure you give yourself enough time to walk over.
If you can make sure you try to cover all areas of feasible. Even if it's just walking through the attractions and not attending all the shows. I wish we would have gotten an early start, but we had a good time and this place is well put together.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 22, 2019
We received tickets to this for free off of our neighborhood app. And being honest, I had never heard of it. But hey Free is always a great price. So we took a day off of work and made it a weekend.
I want to start with the employees. I have never met such happy employees. They were all nice and wore smiles and were truly helpful.
They give you a paper with different shows. It was fairly easy to plan the trip with a little math required. There was only a couple of shows that you had to choose one or the other.
The main show : We went when they were doing "David the king of Jerusalem" It was broken up into 3 parts so it was easy to sit through. It was absolutely fabulous and stayed true to the biblical story.
The "Scriptorium" takes about an hour. You go into one room and there is a little story and when its done a door will open for you to go into next room etc. Not all rooms have a door and we actually left the 3rd show about 5 minutes early to get here as to not have to wait as they only let a certain # in a group go at a time. They had some old Hebrew scrolls and bibles from thousands of years ago. One even had the blood of someone on it!
I would like to go back for Christmas and Easter to see the shows they have at that time.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dec 17, 2019
I didn't expect to like this as much as I did! The singing and acting was wonderful! The storyline was engaging. We didn't plan to stay as long as we did but we wanted to see as many shows as we could so we where there the entire day. I wanted a Christmas experience and I got it. Definitely worth the money for this show, especially if you like Christmas plays.

Must see!
My mom & I have always wanted to visit this place. We finally stopped by and it was such a nice experience. You can easily do mostly everything on the agenda here without hassle.
When we arrived, the 1pm show was getting set to start. We made our way in and luckily for us (due to really cold temps for fl weather) it was packed. We got great seats and the show began.
The actors are phenomenal! Talented human beings! We were blown away with the performance and their voice. At first, for me, i was a little distracted seeing the microphone by their faces so it took me a few minutes to get into full story mode but once they got really started, I felt almost transported to a different time.
The singing and passion they all show is so unique and heart wrenching at times. From older adults to the youngest child, they were all amazing!
I loved that the show/ story was incorporated throughout the 'park'. Each show being in a literal new beautiful setting.
The staff was outstanding. From the moment we stepped into the place there was a friendly face offering to help guide us through each step to make sure we didn't miss anything.
I would definitely visit again to see the other shows during the year! Amazing amazing!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Aug 2, 2018
The Holy Land Experience was wonderful! The actors are fabulous and they have angelic voices! The clothing, decor and music all enhance the biblical experience!
Don't sell yourself short, get there early or purchase a two day pass. If you get to Holy Land by 10am you can catch all of the shows and you actually feel like you're part of the journey through the Bible. The journey begins in the courtyard for the Welcome to Bethany performance where Martha, Mary & Lazarus prepare to receive Jesus and his disciples, then you walk over to Lazarus' house where Jesus comes and recognizes young Mary's faith he then teaches everyone how to pray. The Journey continues into the Wilderness Tabernacle where we learn about sacrifices.
There's two must see 40 minute performance of God's Redeeming love. Each performance is tastefully designed to include the audience and leave you trusting for more!
I would be remiss not to mention the actor that plays the "Jesus" role; this anointed man of God has such a peaceful kind spirit. Between performances he comes out for photo ops and talks to everyone but he has a beautiful way of speaking to children (it so amazing to see the interaction).
I highly recommend The Holy Land Experience at least once or twice in your lifetime.
I give The Holy Land Experience five Yelp stars and two thumbs up!
I'm lL forward to my next trip back!Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Colton H.Houston, TX35439May 13, 2019
This place is amazing, they had well played shows (My favorite was the Empire and the Kingdom) and they had fun interactive activities for everyone to do. For example, they had Warrior training where you would do fun exercises to become a warrior.
They also have great food there, there was a place with the name Esther in it and they had some yummy pizza and good sodas.
If you want a happy, family friendly, biblical experience, then you should really come to this place. It's amazing!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
