Bellevue, WA
Pub food with a organic/fresh twist? Sounds incongruous but works beautifully in this scenic spot with great atmosphere. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table (the place was packed) but it was worth it. Fresh pico de gallo and homemade tortilla chips were not overly salty and went well with our local IPA beers.
My fish and chips was A+. Lightly breaded, not greasy, tender, flakey, and a tartar sauce I wanted to put on everything! The fries were so fresh. My companion's burger was a monster and the bit I had was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Quality beef makes such a difference.
Only complaint is that it was LOUD and difficult to get around the extra chairs they'd pulled out for other large parties. The service was awesome, though, and very helpful.
I can't wait to go back and will hopefully have room for dessert! -

This place is great! My husband and I decided to drive out to Bainbridge Island for "date night" last night. We arrived at Harbour Public House around 7:00 pm, and it was packed. We waited for about 25 minutes. During our wait we could tell that the majority of people there were locals that came in regularly. Everyone seemed to know everyone, and it had a really great vibe. The architecture of the restaurant is really cool, with wood paneling and arches throughout.
After being seated our waitress quickly appeared and we put in our drink orders. The local brewery and winery selection was great, but I was driving so I went with Coke. My husband tried the Pt.Townsend Gold Ale, and really enjoyed it (3 pints worth!).
In addition to their menu, they offer daily specials, as well. The lamb burger sounded especially tasty, but they were out of it. Oh well. I decided on the fish and chips with a side Caesar salad. My husband opted for the blue burger with a side salad. The salads are huge!! They were almost big enough to be a meal in themselves. Very fresh, Caesar dressing was excellent, homemade garlic croûtons were delicious. My husband salad was equally impressive, with the perfect blue cheese dressing accompanying it.
The fish and chips were definitely worth the wait. Perfect crisp breading on the outside, fresh succulent fish on the inside. Fries were awesome. My husband devoured his burger, with huge chunks of fresh blue cheese cooked inside the burger and generously on top of the patty. Overall, this was an excellent experience. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The other patrons were friendly, this place has a really good atmosphere to it. We can't wait to return. -

Went here specifically for the reportedly great local beer selection and poutine and were not let down at all! It was busy for an early Sunday afternoon, but we set up at the bar quickly and checked out the menu. The draft beer selection was impressive in the number of smaller local breweries on tap...service at the bar was great and we had drinks and orders placed quickly.
There were lots of things on the menu that sounded good and the food coming out of the really cool dumbwaiter behind the bar looked great. On a slightly warmer day, we would have loved to have sat ourside to enjoy the deck!
Our poutine arrived promptly (he had the bourguinonne and I had the parisian) and looked amazing. The classic vancouver had called us as well, but we decided to try something a little different. My parisian poutine was good - I don't expect poutine to be light by any means, but it was really heavy. The chicken gravy was a little bland - and I thought overall that the dish needed more seasoning. His bourguinonne was excellent though - loved the flavors (and the classic beef gravy on the fries) - I could have slayed his dish easily!
We'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu than just the poutine - great out of the way spot on bainbridge! -

LOVE this place!
When in Seattle we felt like hopping on the ferry and we watched an amazing bright pink sunset as we headed to bainbridge island, as we walked to the pub we met a few residents that kindly pointed us along little paths.
We arrived at The Harbour Public House and sat down for a fabulous dinner.
I love that everything (or at least it appeared to be everything) was local, from the food to the wine & beer. My husband had a burger and I had a pulled pork sandwich, we had a few beers and everything was excellent.
When I mention that they had local wine/beer, it's not like some places where they have a couple of each and then the mainstays on tap too like bud, etc... (blech) there was none of that, ALL local from what I could tell and probably 12 or so local beers on tap.
I love this place and the next time we are in Seattle we will go again, definitely worth the trip! -
Review from Kendra B.
We are very big fans of trying local beer when we travel, and we were drawn to Harbour Pub for their selection of local (Washington) beer. They had a decently sized list of beers, all from Washington, spanning a wide range of beer. They had a few local ciders and wines as well, though we did not partake.
I had an excellent Port Townsend IPA, and my husband had Ironhorse Irish Death. His beer was dark, strong, and good enough to order twice!
The food at this establishment is quality as well. House Smoked Salmon Tartine (open faced sandwich) comes on top of wheat toast "fingers" with goat cheese, capers, and onions, on a bed of spring mix. Decent size, and a light alternative to pub food usuals. My husband had a large plate of fries and deep fried oysters, which seemed to be quality as well.
The atmosphere- though laced with tourists of course- is great. The outdoor area is covered with a bright yellow umbrella, and overlooks the water and harbor. The indoor seating had water views as well.
Overall, a quality establishment with good local beer and food, and nice views. A relaxing stop on Bainbridge Island! -

I had to stop by here since it was mentioned in the Seattle Times "Do It In a Day" feature (http://seattletimes.nw...). We sat on the deck overlooking the marina. Wish it had been sunnier out but was marvelous nonetheless.
I am such a fan of great customer service and our server was the perfect example. Made us feel welcome, relaxed and was avaiable for menu and drink recommendations. The drink menu here was awesome. Most of the drinks are ones you wouldn't find elsewhere. I had the pureed rhubarb, Skyy vodka and basil drink (drink name's evading me) and it is one of the top 5 mixed drinks I've ever had. The food menu is a collection of poutine fries, burgers, salads and basic seafood - chowder, fish & chips, etc. Their bar menu was heavily Middle Eastern-inspired, which was a nice surprise.
For my entree I had a $13 bowl of clam chowder! I freaked at the price tag but it made sense because each bowl is made to order. It's not the creamy, chunky chowder I'm used to but the broth was rather oily and buttery. It came with lots of clams and potatoes. Not the best chowder I've ever had but have no regrets.
I'd like to come back next time I'm on the island for the service, view and a cocktail.Listed in: Day Trip to Bainbridge Island

We were recommended here by the locals. This is a pub that is a bit off main street and the locals love. The place is really cute and on the water. The service was good (but if you look under 21 - you have to bring your ID in with you or they will not serve you). We ordered the fresh clam chowder, bacon burger, and veggie soup. The clam chowder came with over 20 clams in it and was pretty good...a bit salty but good. The burger was amazing and the veggie soup was decent. My one flaw on the place was the tables...they had wood tables that I felt were not cleaned enough..

I was pretty disappointed with this place. It has a beautiful view, nice interior, good beer selection, and good looking menu. I like everything about it, but the food. Before I get into that, let me back up to the service. We showed up on a beautiful sunny day. I wasn't expecting to be able to get a table out on the deck, but I figured it was worth a shot. There was a 25 minute wait for an outside table, but the inside had several tables open so we opted for an inside table assuming we would get seated right away. WRONG! For some reason, she said ok and then made us wait there for 10 minutes before we could be seated in an almost empty interior. Really didn't make sense.
Now onto the food, we ordered pretty standard items, fish and chips, clams, and a salad. The fish and chips were advertised as "the best on bainbridge." Well, hopefully that is because there are no other fish and chip places on the island because the fish had absolutely no flavor and the fries were extremely soggy. The clams were dry and tough. My mom (who was visiting from texas) said she had better at long john silvers.
Go here for the view and a beer. Skip the food. -

Just had a wonderful lunch there!! Truly excellent quality food and brilliant preparation. I enjoyed a perfectly spiced, succulent housemade Bratwurst - Genius!! Accompanied by red cabbage and German potato salad to die for, totally authentic and divine. I really fixated on the Dabob oysters... I live at Dabob bay and am a bit of a snob about how our oysters are prepared. These were deep-fryed, yes, but with such careful attention that the tempura-style breading was light and airy, yet cooked fully and with perfect crunch. The oysters within were juicy, tender, soooo fresh - oyster flavor and juices fully intact - somebody there really loves oysters, and sure knows how to handle them. Deep-frying can be the kiss of death for an oyster, but not there -- Bravo Public House!!!! We just drank water with lunch, but there were a kajillion beers there and fab specialty drinks at the bar too. I'll be back!

The Harbour Public House is the place to be in Bainbridge. After taking a ferry from Seattle into Bainbridge port I always make it a point to stop at the Harbour. Great burgers with good local beer and seafood. The view of downtown Seattle from the back patio provides a serene feeling when it's not busy.
My personal favorites are the oyster sandwich, clam chowder, and the black and bleu burger. Main reason I come back is the service and the local regulars who always have something interesting to talk about. -

Fun place...brought the boat over on a Thursday and had lunch then went and did work at Pegasus Coffee House.
Beware - the dockmaster is a jerk. Called to ask about docking - he said 'we don't have room for you' then after explaining I was going to the coffee shop he said they did. Then after getting back to boat 10 minutes finishing some emails he comes and tells me I have to leave for the next boat. Mind you there are open slips EVERYWHERE! -

After a long walk (15mins! haha) we reached the Pub.
We shared the Pulled pork sandwich, which was great.
Not what I expected, but delish. There was large pieces of pork instead of shredded and a big slab of cheddar cheese.
We ordered the yam fries which was the highlight of our meal.
We didn't realize our sandwich would come with fries or we would have substituted them but oh well. I would recommend doing that if you go.
We also got the fritters, I was mostly excited about the sauce, cilantro & mint aioli. The sauce was yummy but the fritters left something to be desired.
Plus they have a beautiful view of the marina. You can sit outside under a large umbrella or inside and have the same view! -

Good thing the cask beer hit the spot.
However, waiting 15 minutes to be seated with many open seats was how we started. The hostess took my name and we sat. A few other groups were waiting and eying the empty tables too.
When we were seated, our server took 10 minutes to take our order. After ordering, it was another 35 minutes to get the food.
We are guessing the kitchen was backed up so we were delayed in seating and serving. Fine as long as the food was good.
It wasn't. My fish and chips were OK. The fish was better than the mushy and lukewarm fries.
My wife's burger was pretty tasty but her yam fries suffered from the same sogginess and mushiness as my fries. Hers were warmer though.
We enjoyed a beautiful day on Bainbridge Island but the food let us down. -

We sailed here from Shillshole for a few beers. That's probably the only point of this place, I certainly wouldn't eat here if I could avoid it. But it does have friendly staff and a nice, comfy atmosphere, and a good selection of PNW ales.

Four stars mainly for the great service and incredible views overlooking the sound and marina - food was ok. With that said - I still would recommend for anyone visiting Bainbridge. Sat outside on the upper deck overlooking the sound and all the boats as we drank really good local draught beer. The weather was perfect and our server did not rush us even though we knew the deck is prime seating - kudos to our server! Dinner was fish and chips and also a skewer of grass fed beef with sweet potato fries - both good, but made all the better with the views!

I actually really like 'The Pub' for food on Bainbridge Island. I've been evermore disappointed by the lack of quality eating establishments on the island since I started working there over a year ago. The Pub is actually one of the only places that I feel OK spending $22 for a cheeseburger and an iced tea because the food is consistently good. So many restaurants on the island suck, and I mean I don't even know how they maintain business they are so awful, and the prices are exorbitant to boot!
I give it a 3 star rating because the service is SLOW, slow slow. I can't ever eat there for lunch with only an hour of a lunch break from work. It's not enough time. That's always frustrating. Plus, for what it is the prices are a tad high. I just wish they would step it up a little bit to turn tables. Don't they care when a huge party walks out the door to go to Doc's b/c they can't be seated in under 45 minutes for lunch?
I like the burgers, and the clam chowder is awesome. The beer selection is good. In the summer the patio is a great place to hang out. -
Review from David L.
Good burgers, very noisy, great views before sundown, lots of appetizers to chose from, and good variety of clientelle. Parking easy, but if you're walking from the ferry terminal, give yourself about 20 minutes to walk there. Interior build out and curb appeal is fair. Worth a try if you're on the island for any length of time, but if it is the one time you're coming to the island, you may wish to consider other dining options.

Hi, I'm in Bainbridge. I don't really know what there is to do in Bainbridge. A friend and I walked around for a good hour or 2 and passed the same street twice. We weren't really sure what to look for so we decided to head back to the ferry when we saw The Harbour Public House. This place is really great! I don't know if it was because the only people we saw on the island were at the restaurant but I was really excited to eat there.
I ordered the nachos and then made our wait to the fire pit table in the center of the patio. It was there we met these two lovely ladies who told us stories of a time where men dressed fancy and kids played stick ball. we all got pretty drunk and had a great time conversing about life on the little island and about families and the crazy warehouse party my friend and I went to the night before. we arrived there just in time to watch the sun set and it ended up being really nice. I'd like to check this place out again when I visit in a couple weeks. -

Bainbridge Island, WA
It pains me to give this review because the restaurant adheres to local, sustainable and environmentally conscious principles and has for many, many years (before the recent fad). We used to eat here quite often when the food was much better but the horrible service eventually drove us away. They have, most the part, fixed the service issues (although today's service wasn't the best) but now the food is consistently not good.
My husband had a horribly bland and overcooked lamb burger the last time he was in. I've had in the past what they call they used to call "killer shrimp" (it's not on the current menu) and they might just be right for all the salt in the dish! The batter on their fish & chips so heavy and greasy that I cut it off and eat the fish inside (which is usually very good).
Today, my husband and I split the "Pub Original Burger" (a burger with cheddar cheese, mayo, and grilled onions) and fries. I asked for a medium-rare burger (and wasn't told they wouldn't cook it to that temperature) -- it came more than well-done -- all of the flavor had been cooked out of it ... it was gray, chewy and dry. The bun would have been great had it been toasted - instead it seemed as if had been steamed into a warm mushinesss. I ordered the fries crispy, and as always (and I mean always), they come out limp, soggy and greasy -- seriously, don't know why I continue to order them.
We chose to focus on the positives while there -- the beer was cold and tasty and there was a nice breeze on the covered deck (81 degrees today). Nobody asked us whether our meal was good and nobody said thanks for coming or good bye on the way out despite at least two servers looking straight at us.
Probably won't be back until my memory dims again. -

This place has the best clam chowder I have ever eaten in my life, hands down. Honestly I don't really remember the rest of my meal that well, which is why it's 4 rather than 5 stars. But I would go back just for the chowder, seriously.

We were exploring Bainbridge Island today and found this place...it had other good reviews so we decided to go for lunch.
Here's my breakdown: service - 3.5 star, food - mine, chop salad, all local ingredients, 4 star, his - todays special, brisket sandwich with fries (fries are fresh-cut, limp and soggy, very greasy too), 2 star (sandwich was adequate but uninspiring), view was fantastic.
Beer selection was adequate for the size of the place, wine list looked good too.
We would go again but won't order fries! -

I come here almost every time I visit my family on Bainbridge. It's a great place to meet up with old friends over a nice burger or fish 'n chips. Their papas latinas are a great appetizer (sweet potato fries with mango salsa, black beans and sour cream). They have a nice selection of local beer on tap. My personal favorite is the Port Townsend IPA. They have a great location with an outdoor eating area overlooking the marina. The owners bought Pegasus, the coffee shop down Parfitt Way a few years back, and use high-quality ingredients in both eateries.

A fun pub in a great location right on the water.
I had a bowl of fish chowder that was chock full of fish.
My daughter tried the fish and chips and it was good - however it was 3 small pieces instead of one or 2 large ones. What that was about I don't know but I do see it in some of the reviews here. That is why I'm holding back on star #5. -

A good friend of mine lives on Bainbridge, so whenever I'm in Seattle, I take the ferry over and we always end up eating here. And I always get the Ribollita. Which is always amazing.
I love the atmosphere inside, and that you can sit outside on nice days and look over the harbor. The beer selections seems to change a lot and I'm pretty sure they are all local (meaning Washington local) beers, which I love. There's a pretty decent range too, from an IPA to a cider, always on draft.
They are really environmentally friendly, local business, that whole thing. The service is a little slow, but thats kind of just the pace of the restaurant. There's really not much I don't like about this place, except that sometimes it takes a million years to get seated (popular place, it gets crowded quickly). But we try to get there before the dinner rush and there's usually no problem.
Definitely a place to check out, especially if you want to get away from the city-ness of the city, only a quick ferry ride away. -

I'm sure this is a charming place for regulars. It does have a nice waterfront view of the marina on the deck.
I saw poutine on the menu and HAD to try it for the first time. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked and there wasn't enough gravy to make itself known except for a couple pockets. The cheese curds were nice but overall, it needed seasoning.
For the main course, we had fish and chips. Again, the fries were overly brown, bitter, and dry but the fish went well with the tartar sauce that tasted homemade.
We might stop by again if we visit the island but we'll definitely avoid getting so many items with fries. -

I went to the Harbour Public House yesterday with my family. When we got there they told us the wait would be 10 to 15 minutes so we put our name on the list. We waited patiently for 45 minutes. After that time we politely asked the waitress when she thought a table for 4 would open up. She responded in a very snotty tone that we would be seated when a table opened up, but until then there was nothing she could do. There was, in fact, several things she could have done:
1. She could have been polite. Even neutral would have been an improvement.
2. She could have apologized for the wait and acknowledge that the wait was much longer than she had estimated.
3. She could have encouraged any one of the 5 tables of people that were just chatting after they paid their bills to move along. There were about 6 groups waiting to sit, I don't think it is necessarily rude to encourage people to free up tables when they have been done for 20 or 30 minutes.
The food at the Harbour Public House is fine. Nothing special, and certainly not worth putting up with the waitress's attitude.
In the end we left and headed over to Bainbridge Island Barbeque, which was AWESOME. We should have done that in the first place. -

Summer is finally here - and thank Lordisa cuz one more cold and rainy Sunday in May and I was gonna call the realtor.
The official beginning of summer is the first sunday we have lunch on the deck at the Pub.
Summer began last weekend, people!!
Act like ya heard, and by that I mean:
please wear as little as possible
and for GOD'S SAKE get a pedicure!
Thank you.
Don't call it Harbour House if you want the locals to know what you're talking about - it's "The Pub".
I find their cocktails to be a little on the weak side, but that's fine really cuz it's a Pub - have a beer.
My current favorite is Serengheti Wheat.
The food consists of your typical Pubby offerings: burgers, nachos, fish and chips, some nice salads. Try the Tequila Lime Chicken and the Killer Shrimp.
They lose stars due to the the, to my mind, overcooked fries.
There is a raging debate among island residents regarding the fries and I wish they would just get another fryer already so us light fry folks could be satisfied.
Technically, they should get four stars because of the view, but I live here and I am jaded about views - and I am pouting about those fries.
I hate to say this - but their burgers are currently better than Doc's (http://www.yelp.com/bi...).
I find the bun too bready, but the meat is flavorful, and unlike Doc's, The Pub knows what a rare burger is.
I like Doc's fries better, so we may need to figure out a way to orchestrate a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup type of collision and get those two together.
They also have a dock with a tie out for your dingy or kayak or in my case, leaky canoe. How morantic (tm) is THAT!?
I grab the huzbeau and we push off our little beach and in a few minutes we're tying up at The Pub.
Okay, so bailing harbour water isn't so romantic,
but surely you have seen the price of gas these days??
(3.50 a gallon)
And the cost of the ferry??!!
(12 bucks each way for a car)
I don't mind though, it gives me an excuse to have another beer,
and I'm gonna kick your ass at arm wrestling by the time Labor Day rolls around.
June 10:
a slightly revised new menu inserted in the local paper includes a cucumber martini ... see ya there Maria! -

First off, I think they deserve 5 stars just for still being willing to serve us again after an incident a few years ago when my husband and his buddies consumed what amounted to a pitcher of Kilt Lifter each (with predictable results).
Anyway, the food is really good pub food - and the menu is mostly organic . No trans fats here. Our favorite things right now: California Chicken Sandwich, Steak Pita Grill, Burgers (they grill the onions - so yummy). Every once in a while, I get a craving for the Killer Shrimp, but they do tend to be on the salty side, so if you are salt-sensitive watch out.
Tip: It is a child-free zone, so the little cherubs aren't welcome until they can expand into separate restaurant and bar areas (the plan is currently being blocked by nearby condo owners who are probably angry at people who drink whole pitchers of beers with high alcohol content and act rowdy on their walk home). This works for us right now since we don't have kidlets, but hopefully they'll push that expansion through before we go ahead and reproduce. -

I came here on a cold rainy day and was disappointed in advance about having to sit inside.
But OF COURSE they've thought this through. They have an umbrella that covers the entire deck so that you can stay dry and still enjoy the view of Seattle and if you are cold? No problem! They have blankets you can borrow.Listed in: Lunch!

We decided to check out Harbour Public House after wine tasting in Winslow. The lady that was pouring us the wine tastes recommended it.
It was a short walk through town from the ferry dock to get to the pub. We got in and were told that it would be a short wait for a table outside, so we moseyed up at the bar for a quick drink while we waited. I got the Agate Pass Amber, which was local and tasty. They have a lot of good local beer on tap with some of them being some cask ales too.
After 5 min, we got our table on the deck. The view is tremendous and had great vistas of Eagle Harbour and downtown Seattle's skyline across the sound. I had the BLT, while gf had the muscles. Both were great.
We'll definitely come back here when we want to do a quick trip across the sound again. -

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch a few weeks ago. I ordered the spicy crab & artichoke melt and my boyfriend had the fish and chips. I assumed that the crab would have some cheddar cheese melted in, but no they actually top the whole thing with a big old slice of cheddar cheese (I guess with "melt" as part of the name I should have figured that out sooner). With that much cheese it definitely is a very heavy, oily dish, like other reviewers have mentioned. While it wasn't bad or anything, it's not really something I would ever do to crab. My boyfriend's fish and chips were pretty tasty, the batter was different than any other I'd had.
Our service was really quite awful while we were there. Our waiter spent more time talking to the other employees about what movies they had seen the previous weekend than waiting on us. Our beers/waters were empty for most of our meal and we couldn't even wave anyone down.
I'm sure we'll go back again, but I'm keeping my expectations moderate. -

Yelpers - you wore me out with all the partying over the weekend! So, I had to escape the city. I jumped on a ferry and headed out to Bainbridge Island for a little peace and quiet*
The Harbour Public House is the perfect place to escape when you just want something easy. The space is warm and the people are all quite friendly making it a comfortable spot to spend a couple of hours. The cellar temperature beer is a nice touch as is the nitro poured selections.
We split a HUGE plate of fish and chips that was pretty good, some clam chowder that had a wine flavor that I didn't care for, and a spinach salad that was excellent.
The next time you people wear me out I'm hiding out to The Harbour Public House to find my center.

If it wasn't for the limited selection of places to eat on the island, I would have gone else where. We ordered the following...
1. Iced Tea ****
2. Clam Chowder **
3. Calamari Salad **
4. Ceasar Salad with Chicken Skewers. **
5. Cobb Salad Pita **
As you can see.. The Iced Tea had the most stars. Not the best showing and the service was so-so. The waiter forgot the Chicken Skewers and the salad took forever. (A salad shouldn't take that long) If the place was jammed packed, I would have been a little more sympathetic, but it wasn't. So, I give it 2 stars. -

I want to tell you something good about this place.
And granted, I am going to say it was just for this experience.
Biggest complaint was the service. It was that underwhelming kind of relaxed service that is agitating. The waitress couldn't even hear someone slurp an empty water glass if she was trying hard enough. Everyone here has bad peripherals...they can't see anything else beyond what they are doing. And multi-tasking is not anything that done here. There is no running list of things to do, but it is only whatever needs to be done at hand. So that in all, just makes for people who shouldn't be in a restaurant.
One thing I've learned from wearing an apron, is that if you let people ask you something before you have the chance to get it for them...
you aren't doing your job, because that's not service.
And secondly, it's going to make your job miserable.
I had been craving a burger since I had a bite of one @ 122 Winslow (also on Bainbridge) from last night and was okay with it. It was typical, for $11.95 it didn't do anything that McDonald's couldn't have done as well.
Well McDonald's doesn't have real cheese, or pepperjack - so that's the minor detail. The crab and artichoke dip we had however was a plus. And the view is undeniable.
But service, really knocks down this place from what it could be. When you have the chance to stare around and digress with other patrons in the same restaurant about it--it definitely is a problem.
I wouldn't come back for the food. To drink, I am sure that might happen if the occasion arises. -

Ah, "the pub".
The thing is, it's really, really hit or miss.
Hit:
Either of the pork sandwiches, the tequila lime chicken, the killer life-affirming shrimp, the fish and chips, the veggie burger.
Miss: The steak pita, the salmon, the chicken caesar salad
Hit: the view
Miss: the service
Hit: the beer selection
Miss: Having to wait to sit, pretty often - not many options on Bainbridge, so it gets crowded.
Price is somewhere in the middle. I've never had a fantastic experience here, and I've never had a terrible one. It's decent. -

If going to Bainbridge this place is a must:
1. Location Location Location...absolutely amazing. MUST SIT OUTSIDE or you are missing out
2. If you like BEER...get their HEFF!!! Best I have had - and I drink a lot of HEFF
3. Fish and Chips...You are doing yourself WRONG by not getting this dish.... -

Bainbridge Island, WA
Consistency, consistency, consistency. The pub is the best place to go on the island if you want to make sure you are having a good meal, good service and good beer. I LOVE the fact that kids are not allowed....seriously, as if there are not enough places for little ones to hang out. The owners are gracious and have great attitudes.
I highly recommend this establishment. -

A great way to escape downtown Seattle, enjoy Puget Sound, and see Bainbridge is to ditch the car and use your feet. At the end of your walk, this a great place to go. A great decor, great food, at great prices all just a stone's throw from the marinas. This is the type of place where I just feel instantly comfortable and at home. Typical yet high quality brew pub type fare is great as are the selection of beers and drinks.
Be sure to check out a map but if you feel like getting lost, just stick to the main roads and take lefts. It's further away than some other places but you will not be disappointed.
