The Greenroom
1 review for The Greenroom
Just moved to Harrison in October. Used to live here from 1984-1991 and the place is changing fast. Greenroom would be the biggest standout. The place seems like it would belong better in Brooklyn or JC.. Luckily now Harrison has it's very own place with eclectic music (Reggae, Soul, Hip Hop, New Wave and Funk - to just name what i've heard while there). They have live Jazz and Reggae and flat screen tv's for all the games.
The food review for this place alone would take a few paragraphs - but to sum it up: go hungry and go often. The specials, the things not on the menu but you might be surprised they actually have (i.e. veggie burgers!), the service and the ambiance. All worth a taste.
The only drawback is the occasional Harrison cops (most of whom I went to school with and they're still obnoxious!). Otherwise, great addition to the 'hood and i'm glad it's only a block away.
