Easy, fair and fast. I called in the AM, Timothy gave me an ETA on when one of his plumbers could come, updated me at noon (as he said he would) and the guy showed up right on time. I had a leaky kitchen sink. The plumber, Tony, ran some tests, cleaned up the water under my sink (bonus for lazy people!), found the problem and fixed it. Tony was fast and courteous, didn't freak out at my crazy barking dogs, and I couldn't ask for anyone better.

Plus a $25 discount to boot for first-time customers on Yelp for jobs over $100 :)  They take cash, card and check which is convenient. With the discount I paid a total of $100. It was a problem w/the sink strainer basket; yes I know it is like a $20-$30 item at Home Depot but what you pay for is (I learned this) is 1) better quality materials than what they sell at HD and 2) having someone drive to your house promptly, figure out what's wrong, and then fix it. PLUS a two-year warranty which is nice because I tend to have things break on me THROUGH NO FAULT OF MY OWN :)

Tony also tightened some other pipes and the kitchen faucet while he was at it and answered all my annoying questions (Hey, gotta learn what you can). I'm very appreciative and will use them again.

I wish I could give LESS than 1 star.  I don't even know why I called this dude again...I had a problem with him before.  Literally started the conversation with worst case scenario.   When his employee showed up, the guy looked at the toilet for less than 30 seconds, and came back saying it was a pretty intense problem...possibly up to $800.  I had two ounces of water pooling at the base of my toilet....I called Mr. Green Plumber and was thrilled that he did not want to work with me!

Called Gorsuch--they were here in one hour, figured out the problem within 15 minutes.  They went an got a new part: and I paid $107.

Why do these people that throw "Green" into their title think they can get away with murder?

Funny thing is, he is getting a lot of love on Yelp...but when I posted a less than flattering review of the Green Plumber on FB, fifteen people in Long Beach had similar experiences.   Four people told me to call Gorsuch...

Timothy, The Green Plumber, is part of my stable of incredibly nice, trustworthy and efficient professionals helping me improve my home. He's been over a few times in the past year, ready to offer advice, assistance, or both; he's never been pushy, always patient, and he obviously knows what he's doing. He's conscientious about the house - he doesn't leave a speck behind - and a real mensch to boot! He's a rare gem - a real professional, small businessman, loaded with integrity, and a pleasure to spend time with - I mean that last part too... when I invite people into my home, they may be there for a job, but I want to be able to trust that person. Tim is a gentle guy, great with our dogs, very patient with our thousands of questions, and I'll definitely call him every time we have any plumbing projects.

Did I mention he's a font of knowledge about all things green? Yeah, seriously, talk this guy up - he's not going to try to sell you, he'll more than likely just offer you suggestions about things you can do yourself, like gray water irrigation.

If you like dealing with real humans, who make a living on their good reputations and professional results, Tim is your guy.

For my birthday, my father gave me a beautiful ruby ring. While showering, I took it off and set it up on the top shower door bar and promptly forgot about it (BIG MISTAKE). I realized a couple of days later that I hadn't seen it since then and checked, and of course it was gone. After a thorough searching of the house and interrogation of my boyfriend and our roommate, who said that she heard something fall while taking a shower, I had no choice but to come to the conclusion that it went down the drain. I am heartbroken, but not ready to give up.

After searching for a plumber on Yelp, I decided on Tim at the Green Plumber. I told him of my plight and not only was he very understanding but he said that he would come over within an hour. Talk about a great first impression! When he arrived, he put booties on so that he didn't muddy anything up and began snaking the pipe with a video camera thingy-bob (I'm sure that's the technical term).

We didn't have any luck with that, so he offered to go under the house to see if he could access the trap. This poor guy had to crawl under my house in the mud and bugs to check this. I don't know how he does it!

Unfortunately it's not an easy fix. We're going to have to cut and replace the pipes in order to find it, so I had to tell him that I would call him back after talking to my landlord. Thankfully, he's willing to do it for us for VERY cheap so I think we'll be able to do it. He didn't even charge me at the end of the day!

Tim was the consummate professional the entire time and was very sympathetic to my overly-emotional histrionics. Even if he is not able to find my ring, he has earned a fan for his stupendous service.

Being in a band has its upsides, like for instance hot groupies and the occasion free beer. However being in a band also means having drunk stupid people at your house after gigs, who then decide it would be a great idea to barf all over your bathroom and shove a entire roll of paper towels down your toilet. This is where the connection to The Green Plumber comes in being in a band gets to be annoying.

I called Timothy early on a Friday morning and was greeted by him, not some answering service. He was friendly and able to give me an estimate right over along with a good time for him to stop by. Timothy was not only prompt, but very friendly and helpful. The problem was taken care of, the price was reasonable and the service was QUICK.

If you're in Long Beach, The Green Plumber is the best choice!!!!

Thought I had a plumbing problem.  Called Tim.  Sent someone out.  Went through every possible problem.  Was here about an hour.  Realized that it's not a plumbing problem.  Fixed something else.  Cleaned up.  Left.  Didn't charge me.

    Will I call them again?

Well hopefully I'll never ever have a plumbing problem as long as I live.  But on the off chance that I do, YES!

Tim was seriously nice one phone and his plumber was super nice.

Sorry I called you out for no reason!  Thanks for your help.

I called Tim via Yelp reviews, but he was TOO busy to help me out.  He recommended Go Green Plumbing, used them, and gave him 5 stars too!  Thanks Tim for the referral!

We had a plugged sewer and other issues I did a search on yelp for plumbers and as usual yelp steered me in the right direction. Timothy was very personable as was his helper Enrique. They were efficient clean and the job came in on budget.

What a joke! All talk; Absolutely no follow through. I can't believe this guys has such great reviews! This is the first time Yelp has steered me in the wrong direction.

Spoke to Timothy over the phone to arrange a time for assessment. He arrived close to an hour late - strike ONE. He took forever and a day to perform his assessment of my problem. Part of me thought....the estimate is free so what the heck, maybe he's just being really thorough. NOT. He spent about an hour assessing the problem, and what's worse he couldn't even provide me an estimate on the spot - strike TWO. I figured that someone with so much experience like him should be able to provide a decent "estimate" for the repairs. Then when he never called back with the estimate I realized what a waste of time this guy was - strike THREE.
I would not recommend this guy. I can't believe he's the owner. Sounds good on the phone, but back up all the talk.

Coolest guys.  I called for an estimate.  They came out and spent a long time assessing a very complicated plumbing issue in our condo.  Gave a free estimate and I will likely be calling for more work.  Very glad I checked yelp for a reco.  I'd recommend Timothy and his team to anyone in the LB area.

We have been struggling to find a plumber for a couple years now.. so I was excited to see Tim's reviews on Yelp.  He was nice on the phone and we arranged for him to come by very promptly.  Tim came and assessed that our immediate concern only required the toilet to be reset, but that he recommended we replace some pipe parts as well. For schedule reasons we agreed he would do half the "reset" job, and he would come back to do the more extensive pipe job and finish the reset then.  I paid him for the full reset job, lesson learned for me.  Not only did I not receive the quote for the more extensive work when promised, or when I called to follow up but Tim has NEVER contacted me to tell me he was to busy for the more extensive work or to finish the job he was compensated for.  More power to  you if you have established a relationship with him (or your landlord has) where he follows through, but that was absolutely NOT our experience.

I found The Green Plumber by searching Yelp and chose him because of all the great reviews...and the reviews are right! Timothy arrived on time. Had a big truck full of everything he needed along with my shiny new toilet! He was honest, courteous, helpful, clean (he put cloth covers on his shoes so he wouldn't track dirt into the house. By the time he left he'd gone through 3 sets) and was reasonably priced. With Timothy there were no surprises or surprise costs. I walked back to see how the install was going and saw that he was using a level to make sure the toilet sat just right. That impressed me. He also cleaned the floor where the old toilet sat before installing the new one and ran a nice bead of caulk around the toilet base. While he was there I asked him to check my old floor furnace which I'd never fired up before. The Gas Co. had checked it a couple hours earlier and told me there was no pilot light "thingy' and I'd need to replace the whole furnace at a cost of several hundred dollars. Not only did Timothy check it out for soundness he got the pilot light  lit! AND...he also spent a good time vacuuming it out for me. AND...he also checked for leaks in my pipes and got my exterior shut-off valve working which I was told by another plumber the week before would need to be replaced! I highly recommend The Green Plumber. I couldn't be happier with the service or my new toilet!
