A nice little gem in Blacksburg! It's tucked away on Main St. next to the Laundromat and Waffle House.
I ordered the gyro which was a great portion size for the prize. The pita was perfectly toasted and the feta was delicious, I only found the meat and tzatziki lacking in flavor a little bit. I still personally prefer Souvlaki but it was still up there!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - John L.Blacksburg, VA05Jul 25, 2015
Have heard the food is great, but have yet been able to get it. Tried to call once during regular hours of operation repeatedly... no answer.
Called on a later date to order and was asked to hold. The gentleman placed the phone down on the counter (b/c I could still hear background noise) and did not return after 5 minutes. I actually gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he had a bathroom emergency or something. 5 minutes later I decided I was tired of waiting..
One day maybe my schedule will work with theirs.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Huy H.Fairfax, VA14914845Mar 17, 2014
Blacksburg has surprising pockets of ethnic cuisine for being such a small town. I've really been into Mediterranean foods and this was walking distance from home so we decided to give it a go. The storefront was very small and we were allowed to sit in a both that was normally reserved for parties of 3 or more.
The gyro we got came out promptly with a generous helping of lamb and fresh veges smothered in dressing. It was delicious! The only thing missing was some acidic/sour element as the gyro didn't have olives. A very straight forward restaurant that knows it serves good food.
The man behind the counter, the owner I presume, was fairly chatty but disappeared after our orders went in to the kitchen to make everything.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Zach R.Houma, LA55959Mar 18, 2012
I have never dined in. I have, however, ordered deliver.
Friendly delivery staff. Moderate speed and okay food. The food was average for Greek. Not bad, not fantastic, just good. I enjoyed the meal, but nothing to call home about. The food had good flavor was too salty. I enjoy Greek food, but it does not require a primarily salt ingredient list.
I am not trying to bash the staff. The food was good and the speed was adequate. However, the sodium level could be reduced and the time could be improved. Goo food - no local competition - but tasty for the price.
A-Ok for me.

The gyros were very good -- the pita it came in was great, the meat was tasty, and there was plenty of food. The Greek salad was good as well.
They have various Greek specialties as well -- spanakopita, various soups, etc.
For my money, a better and more authentic option than Souvlaki.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kristen Y.Radford, VA1931Oct 29, 2013
I was really craving a gyro and there is no place to fill that void in Radford, so a quick search led me to The Greeks. This place is tiny - like four tables tiny - in a small location near the laundry mat and Waffle House. But it was clean and the people working were nice, so I was definitely excited to try it out.
I order the gyro platter which came with a gyro, fries, and a greek salad. Right off the bat, I was impressed when they brought out the salad. It wasn't your typical restaurant side salad. It was loaded with fresh greens, peppers, banana peppers, olives, tomatoes, red onions, and a generous wedge of feta. The gyro was delicious. The pita was toasted and was loaded down with all the fixings. I love tzatziki sauce, so I had to order more for my fries. The portions were generous and there was no way that I could finish everything. I left full and happy.
Probably not the best greek food in the world, but certainly good enough for a repeat visit in a town void of good greek food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Hasakura D.Christiansburg, VA12374Sep 12, 2015

This is the best pizza and Greek food in Blacksburg. I write mostly good reviews because I try to go to the best places to eat. So, you should understand why I say that this place simply serves the type of food you would come back again and often. Their calzones are super, and their salad is to lick your fingers (if you eat like I do). Their pizza is certainly better than all of the others in town (I can name them, but that would not sound right), their baklava is certainly the best (again), but the thing that I really like the most is their Falafel wrap. In fact, this is the only Greek restaurant I have seen that serves the Falafel wrap. If you have always felt ambivalent toward the Falafel, please, come here and try wrap. It will make a believer out of you.
The place is not for eating in. They have a few tables and chairs good for just a few people. But they do deliveries and you can always, of course, call for a carry out (which is what I do).
This is a family business from Greece. So, you don't get here an americanized food or a mixed joint. This is the original from Greece southern countrysides. I have known the owners, and they are sweet, hardworking and trustworthy. They will explain you how they prepare the food and even customize it for you. Constantino, the son's owner, is the person to know.
After trying all the town's pizzas, several times, we settled for the Greek's.
I will later upload pictures.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Miah F.Elmira, NY47158133Sep 26, 2012
Perfectly adequate Greek food. Delivery speed is about what to be expected on a busy night in a college town so no complaints there. Each delivery person we've had drop off our food so far has been very friendly.
The dolmades (grape leaves) are fantastic but the hummus is a bit chunkier than I like it but then again I'm chunkier than I like and I don't plan on changing that so I can't expect them to change their recipes just for me.
I enjoyed their falafel wrap but it there was no crunch to the falafel at all, which I found decidedly odd. Tasty? Yes! Just not quite right.
I'm from Buffalo, NY originally, where we have many different Greek options and I don't honestly believe The Greeks' would make it there but that's not to say it was bad. The price was fair for the food, delivery was speedy enough, and the people were friendly. Absolutely nothing wrong with that; just not amazing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Abir D.Manhattan, NY1947220Aug 21, 2015Updated review
Called at 11:45am on Saturday to place a lunch order for pick up. Called at 12:02pm to place my calzone order "it'll take us another hour to heat up the oven."
The oven isn't up and running at NOON on a SATURDAY?!?!
Pathetic.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0May 2, 2015Previous reviewCalled at 11:45am on Saturday to place a lunch order for pick up. Called at 12:02pm to place my calzone order "it'll take us another hour to heat up the oven." in a very snarky voice.

Pathetic.
The only reason I gave it 2 stars (and not 1) is because the food is actually very tasty. I still feel the rude service overweighs the great food.
The main guy, a grissly Greek guy, is very rude and often scary to customers (scared me).
