Review from Alexander K.
Gaithersburg, MD
My experience with custom framing is that is expensive everywhere. I have had three pieces done here and I was satisfied with the craftsmanship of the pieces. The first two were medals I had won in two past competitions, and the third piece was a pen and charcoal portrait that my girlfriend had drawn for me.
I had to replace the frame on the first medal frame since I had accidentally dropped something on the frame prior to posting it up, and the charge was reasonable. Also, there was some excess glue on the initial framing which I asked to have cleaned up.
However on my second puchase (which included both the 2nd medal and the portrait), I was told AFTER I had picked up the completed pieces that I had a remaining balance on my account. I received multiple phone calls until I came back into the store to pay this remaining balance. I really wish that the entire amount due was to be paid upfront since it is always a major inconvenience to be badgered with phone calls and then return to the store on your own time to pay a remaining balance that I had not known about.
