We wrnt back to The Good Table and were amazed at the food, the service and the updated interior.
My husband had the Snitzel, as recommended by our waiter, and it was fabulous. I had the muscles and they were not only delicious but more than I could eat.
The service was impecable. The staff was right on target. They had been trained by an experienced manager.
We arevlucky to live nearby. We will be back!!!

Wowowow. We tried The Good Table for dinner last night and it was incredible! The burger was perfection, especially with the side of mac. We had a lovely server, and the whole team was very attentive and friendly. A pleasant surprise was the view through the back windows, which made it feel like you're tucked away in the woods. We can't wait to go back.
PS: you need the rolls.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Ken P.Portland, ME217Apr 21, 2024
Went for a drink at the bar with my wife on Saturday night. Parking lot completely full but we squeezed into a spot. Very nice bar menu and specialty drinks. Will be coming back for a full meal!

Stopped by when we were checking out the lighthouses in the area. What a great stop. AMAZING bloody's, and we are picky about our bloody's!! I got the spicy and just the right amount of kick. So good, I had to have another! We also split a bowl of clam chowder and a lobster roll. Clam Chowder was GREAT, with a very generous portion of clams! The lobster roll was good, with a nice portion of lobster meat. Staff were very nice and helpful. Really enjoyed our lunch and will look forward to stopping by when we are in the area again.

When I contacted the restaurant to inquire if the kitchen was accepting to go orders, acknowledging that it might be too busy to do so, the individual who answered the phone was exceptionally rude. They yelled "No!" before I could even complete my question, followed by shouting, "HARD NO!" I hadn't even pushed the request. I understand that a busy restaurant is a stressful environment, but I would expect more from a professional who works in hospitality. The Good Table might benefit from some lessons in good manners.

We visited with a group of friends and very much enjoyed our dinner. We were very impressed with the service that we received. Our waitress was very friendly, and they were very accommodating with special requests, which bumped this review from a 4 star to a 5 star. We started with Lisa's favorite, and I could not get enough of the roasted garlic. It was perfect. I enjoyed a pear martini before dinner as well. I had the baked haddock for dinner with a side of brussels sprouts. The brussels were very flavorful. The haddock could have used additional spicing but otherwise, good. We look forward to visiting this spot again!

Enjoyed a meal with friends. Service was very friendly. From the outside,I expected a fancier experience. It was nice to see a casual gathering of hungry folk. Food was good. I would eat here again.

Portions = 5/5
Taste = 4/5
Service = 4/5
Price of orange juice = 0/5
They have taken inflation to a brand new level. When I saw the receipt, my eyes literally popped out of my head. Food was appropriately priced. However, I cannot say the same about orange juice. Unless this orange juice came from the rare Florida Honeybells (the undisputed Rolls Royce of the citrus arena), I'm flabbergasted by the audacity of a restaurant to charge the price they did. An hour of work at the federal minimum wage would barely cover the cost of this 10 ounce glass of juice. I must confess given the p:j (pulp to juice) ratio, I expected a surcharge. But I'm not sure my wallet will truly ever recover the price gouging on this drink.
Next time your at this establishment and your weighing the option of a cold class of OJ, think again, and maybe invest that money into an IRA.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Craig R.Cape Elizabeth, ME08Nov 27, 2022
Fabulous food and just a good place to go. Lisa and company know how to run a professional operation. One of my favorite places!
