Futon and frame didn't arrive the next day either as was promised. Nor did they call. Fortunately I called before going down there.
Brother-in-law slept on the couch.
Many promises about how it will be at the store the following day by 10 am. The problem is that some of us work for a living and can't simply re-arrange our schedules because they can't get their act together. I won't go into the details of dealing with an immature 20 year old store clerk who has no authority or maturity.
In the end we got through to the management who had authority and got them to deliver it to the house for free where my B-in-L and son were waiting. That alone kept them from being demoted all the way to 1 star.

The mission of The Futon shop is to deliver environmentally-friendly, American-made products that promote better living and a good night's sleep. Founded in 1976, The Futon Shop has been making premium mattresses for futon sofa beds and sofa sleepers for more than 30 years now. Futon is a Japanese word that describes the padded sleeping mattresses that are typically folded and stored away during the day; we and others discovered that the futon idea could be adapted to create a comfy and economical sofa bed or convertible sleeper. But that's just part of the story.
