I went here to buy a wedding gift. They carry the Mariposa line of serving wear which makes very nice wedding gifts. The store clerk was very helpful in selecting a piece and she did a beautiful job wrapping it. They have a nice selection housewares from candles to tableclothes. I would definitely recommend it as a nice place to find a gift for someone or find something unique for yourself.

ok i didn't actually purchase anything, but my friend did. this store is adorbs and the price points aren't outrageous for a small town. i could easily find a dozen knick knacks that were present worthy. my friend got her mom a gift that was carefully wrapped with lots of tissue paper and a bow. my friend likened it to the scene in "love actually" sans cinnamon stick.

So, I'll be honest: I'm a dude and therefore I do not need 80% of the stuff stocked in this store. However, that does not detract from the fact that it is simply the best store in all of downtown Essex and probably in the Chester-Deep River-Essex area. Everyone is nice, the products are gorgeous and high-quality, and it's a beautiful little store in a beautiful little town.
I only didn't five-star it because I honestly don't buy things there that often. It's the sort of place to find some nice jewelry, great perfume or candles et cetera.
