Let me add a ringing endorsement to this place. I needed to order an arrangement for my girlfriend this past week, and after reading the positive reviews on Yelp, I gave The East Garden a call. I asked them if they could do either of both of her favorite flowers, but apparently neither is in season. So, I did something unusual (for me): I gave them carte blanche. I told them my budget, asked if they could get it out the next day, and said that everyone on Yelp had been happy with them, so I trusted them to put something great together.
And boy did they deliver. Literally and figuratively. The arrangement was large, and it looks great in the pictures. (I'm in California right now, which is why I can't personally vouch for it "live.") The consensus is that it looks like a more expensive arrangement than the price, and when it comes to florists, I know that's rare.
I would highly recommend them and easily would go back to them for future arrangements. -

I've been shopping with Shawn for 6 years and he has never let me down, whether I want a large floral arrangement to impress for a dinner party, a posy for a girlfriend or just some impulse flowers for me, I always get good value for money. Lots of trinkets in the shop for last minutes gifts, soaps, jewels, cards, vases, and all in the best possible tast and affordable. Shawn is a Super nice person.

This place is killer! Found them on yelp (as I'm a brand new Nashville resident, and trying to do my girlfriend's birthday on a budget), and Shawn was so awesome that it literally inspired me to create a yelp profile to review his spot.
He worked with my (basically non-existent) budget, did the arrangement while I waited, threw in a free vase, and then promised to check out my music online. Nothing about this experience could have possibly gone better. -

I like this quaint little place, and love that it is just a few blocks from my house! It's a great place to go & get a last minute flower bouquet! They are always very nice & helpful with putting one together - I just tell them how much I want to spend & they put together a beautiful bouquet. They also do larger arrangements or single stems as well.
They also have other really cute things too - picture frames, candles, cocktail napkins, jewelry, all sorts of stuff!

What a beautiful shop! Shawn is an amazing florist and I go to him everytime I need a floral arrangement or even a last minute gift! This store also has a great selection of small plants, candles, books and other gifts for sale.
Definitely a nice shop on the East Side and Shawn is probably the best florist in Nashville!
