Giddy on over to the Dusty Boot ya'all!   Good eats and patio seats!  Yes, there is this nice tucked away steakhouse in Greenwood Village!   I went over the summer for a HS reunion Happy Hour and had some tasty bites and clinked away a few sips of wine.   A nice little find for those in the area or looking for a bit more upscale patio to lounge but not be branded by the expense.   The menu is quite good and the service exceptional.   I look forward to many more dining experiences there!

    Check it out and enjoy!

Good place for a lunch or brunch.   Consistently good food and friendly service.  $3 bloody mary bar (lots of goodies!) and $7 bottomless mimosas on Saturdays.  I've not been here for dinner but it seems like they have great deals that change for different days of the week.

Solid burgers and fries and even more solid service.  Great outdoor seating so as to watch intermittent storms and/or drunk people and HEY NOW! Good drinks.

    I do approve.

I shall be back and may even, perhaps, register this as a regular haunt.  Good food, drink and service!  And drunk patio asses!  Who can resist?

The Dusty Boot is a great regular hangout. The bartenders are the best, pleasant and attentive.  The food is reasonably priced, and your regular bar fare. The Thursday night rock-n-roll bingo is a lot of fun, and free to play.
We're regulars and our drinks are on the bar before our butts are on the bar stools. Stop by more than once or twice and talk to people for a while, both the staff and the other patrons. It's like Cheers :)
Dylan, Javier, Mike and Kayla, you guys rock!

Ive tried this place twice now and it just doesn't do it for me. The first time here I ordered a NY strip and it came out cooked perfectly but it was tasteless. No salt, pepper or any kind of seasoning was put on the steak before cooking it so it came out pretty bland.
I thought I would give it another shot and the wife and I went with some friends. I looked threw the menu and it seemed like the prices jumped significantly since the last time I was there. I ordered a burger because it was the least expensive route on the menu but still pricey for a burger.
It was ok but nothing to get excited over and certainly not worth the price.
The staff is friendly and the place clean but it just doesn't do it for me. Plenty of other places to get a burger or steak.

Attempting to grab lunch at Rice Bistro, my mom and I were deterred by their Sunday lunch closure and as a result settled on the nearby Dusty Boot across the parking lot.

Service was rather slow as a result of being understaffed.  Despite being slow, service was friendly none the less.  Atmosphere was a bit lacking as well.  I felt as though they were pushing the bar setting a bit too much.  Considering everyone of the diners were families with their children, the defening 90's music seemed a bit out of place.  I felt as though I was at a bar with my mom trying to scream over the tunes to carry on in conversation.

The menu was far from original and strongly mirrored that of a Chili's or Applebee's.  I ended up ordering the turkey, bacon, avocado wrap.  My mom settled on the nachos.  Portion sizes were descent, but the quality was far from fresh.  The onions, avocado, and lettuce in my wrap were wilted and lacking in color.  The limited produce that was even on my mom's nachos looked rather dated.  Maybe that was why it was basically a pile of chips with some beans.  I've made drunk nachos more appetizing than these utilizing items from a near empty fridge of a college student.  I would hate to see what the lettuce wraps looked like.  Maybe stock is delivered on Monday's to the Dusty Boot, as I hope their ingredients aren't always this lacking in freshness.

Needless to say, I was able to overlook and exlude my produce and still consume the bacon and turkey dressed in watery "roasted tomato aioli".  My mom, on the otherhand, through exclusion of unfresh ingredients wound up eating a plate full of tortilla chips.  Sorry mom.

A new Dusty Boot opened a little while back in the King Soopers shopping center near our house and we've been telling ourselves we need to stop in.  A couple neighbors we know have been here for Sunday brunch and liked it alot.

We decided to head up on a Friday night.  The place was pretty busy and they were quoting 35-40 minute waits for a table for 2.  We were able to find the last couple spots at the bar and decided to have a drink and eat there.

The service was very good, both bartenders gave us adequate attention and answered all our questions.  They have happy hours every day and serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday.  We're going to have to check out the $3 Bloody Mary.  The happy hour menu featured cheap beers and 1/2 price apps.  Another on the list to check out since we just missed.

We ordered the black bean dip as an appetizer which was yummy.  I ordered the Boot Burger (substitute buffalo), one of their signature burgers.  This was definitely a tasty treat.  We love buffalo burgers and both enjoyed them very much.  Each was cooked perfectly to our liking.

It's great to find a such a good place so close to home.  We'll be frequenting this establishment.

I wanted to like this.  Everytime I've been to the shopping center it smells really good.  But the experience just wouldn't let me.

We went as part of a large group late on a Friday night.  The place is small but that wasn't a problem - we weren't crowded and it took a while to get seated but not as long as we thought it would so that wasn't a proble.  We were sitting at a 'waiting area' table for a while.  Once we got seated they never filled our drinks again.  Ever.  the waitress said let me get you refills but they never came (maybe coasting on the guaranteed large group tip?)

The food was decent enough - my buffalo chicken sandwich wasn't bad at least and the fries were very good but they were very, very skimpy on the fries.  The kids meals were not good.  The hot dog was cold and seemed like one from the under $1/pack variety.  The kid's macaroni and cheese seemed to be from a box (not a fatal sin but at the price it wasn't worth it).

Overall the experience as a whole was not very good and I would not return.  If I had been paying (paid for by the family partiarch) I would have complained but as is it I will just vote with my feet.

I have to admit - Dusty Boot is somewhat of an innovator when it comes to new restaurant concepts!  My favorite is their Dusty Boot salad, which you can get in large size or lunch size.  Lunch size, for me is perfect.  It's basically a Caesar salad, but it's got onions, tomatoes, corn, black beans, and penne pasta!  Great combination.  My only gripe is that it doesn't come with toast or garlic bread or a tortilla... I need my carbs!

The other thing I like about The Boot is the way their menu is laid out.  It's done by price!  Each page represents items that cost one price.  That means if you want to stay under $7, you can do that without being tempted by more expensive things.  Most of the stuff on the more expensive pages is actually just larger portions of the cheaper options.  So if you're super hungry you can pay for more food.  But in general, their smaller portions are perfect.

Big disappointment = steak tips.  They're really small, and come doused in some pesto-ish sauce.  They did manage to cook them correctly, even though they were really bite-size.

I've only been for lunch, but I think I might be back when I can have some cocktails and justify a steak or something!

This place is right up the street from our place so I've seen it a couple times.  Finally decided to try it after buying a Groupon for food here.  DAMN was it good.  We went for happy hour which was great (deals on drinks and apps)!  Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was YUMMY!  Boyfriend had the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich and it was really good too.  They put some sort of spicy mayo (so we think) on it which I loved and he thought was a bit spicy.  We also had the blue buffalo chips which are homemade potato chips with blue cheese and buffalo sauce..SUPER YUMMY!  Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful and the place as quiet and not too busy as we went on a weekday before the dinner rush.  We've been looking for a nice, local bar w/ a good happy hour and we just might have found it!!  Can't wait until the weather is nicer and we can take advantage of the patio!

My girlfriend and I visited the Dusty Boot for the 5280 deal. We had never experienced the restaurant before and were excited to try it. The location is a bit difficult to find, as it is tucked away in a shopping center towards the back, furthest from the main road. The interior was very pleasantly decorated, and though the restaurant is not all that large, tables were spaced in such a way to make you feel like you weren't packed in. The menu for 5280 was rather extensive and offered salads, appetizer, entree, dessert, and a glass of wine. The salads included very fresh veggies, and our appetizer (mussels w/ chiorzo) was likewise very enjoyable. We both enjoyed steaks (rib eye and fillet) for entrees, and thought they were cooked extremely nicely. The dessert was also very good.

I look forward to visiting this restaurant again soon and trying different items on the menu. Good food at great prices. I would definitely recommend!

The gf & I just grabbed lunch here.  Despite reviews, we were both happy with the ambience & food.  I had the Boot Burger, she had a wrap.  They each had the right amount of kick to them.  The burger wasn't as large as I expected, but she ended up taking half her wrap & fries for leftovers.  She NEVER takes leftovers :))  The DB is definitely doing something right.  Under $30 after tax & tip.  Dunno why they replaced the avant guarde / alternative punk with classic rock shortly after we arrived, but both were fun.  Might have to make that a regular lunch stop (once they fix the roads east of there on Orchard :/

Following the previous review I went to try this place. The place inside is small but it did seem to have a large patio area outside. The service was very good with friendly servers. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. I ordered the NY strip and also found it flavorless and lacking, especially for $26. The Caesar salad had wilted lettuce and dressing that I know came out of a Kraft bottle. I wanted to like this place but after eating there the food truly reminded me of eating  at a Perkins.

Mistake #1 happened when I ordered the Peartini. I should have known better, but they had this list of fancy cocktails and it was the same price as a glass of so-so wine, so I thought "why not?" Jolly Rancher-tini is what they should have called it.
We had a large party, and the waitress brought out a little loaf of bread which we were told was included in the meal price. Great- except that it was only enough for 3-4 people and we had 8. Before she had even brought bread to our table she had suggested purchasing another for $2.50. This didn't bother me all that much, but I thought it was a little tacky that we had to pay for enough bread so everyone could have some.
Ordered a buffalo burger well done. Burger came very rare.
Burger came out again, but was a different burger than I originally ordered. Heck, I'm not even sure it was buffalo. But it was well done. I didn't want to make a fuss, so I chose to eat this burger. It was... meh. The server was friendly, attentive and apologetic (which is why I give 2 stars) but the food and attention to detail was a bust.

I had been up to The Dusty Boot in Beaver Creek and remember enjoying the burger, so I had some good expectations for this location. I wasn't disappointed. I ordered The Mountain Burger (without bacon, so just cheddar, sauteed onions and grilled mushrooms), cooked Medium, with fries and a Session lager(or two)  to wash it down. The burger was excellent... prepared correctly (not insignificant when there are 8 other burger orders at the table), juicy and just good. It was just the burger and fries... no lettuce or tomato wasting space on the plate or between the buns. The fries were the crispy, battered variety, light and not very greasy. A great burger, good, responsive waitstaff, nice patio... really nothing to complain about! (And 2-for-1 burgers on Wednesday nights just added to the experience.)

Every now and then you find the right place. Good food, good people and yes, a comfortable atmosphere. My first visit, but not my last. Food was hot and tasty. Salad was excellent. My wife and I split a large rib eye. VERY GOOD! Nice cut with not to much fat. My drink was never empty. Left very satisfied. Nice job folks
