A great spa just minutes from my house?! Yes PLEASE!
Aromatherapy massages are $125 and you have a full day of water activities. This is one of the best ways to chill with a close friend or two. The decor is quiet, orchids, water flowing, soft voices.
It's great to have a workout, a hot tub dip, a sauna and a swim before a massage. When you leave, you almost need a driver to take you home because you are so relaxed.
There's valet and you can also have lunch catered to you at the spa.
The salon is good, though I just had a pedicure, it was a good foot/calf massage. The aromatherapy massage is heaven.
I enjoy this place also because when I've been I have never felt as if it were over crowded, or crowded for that matter. And I have had good conversation with other 'relaxers' there. Decent clientele in other words.
Service is great.
And I look forward to going back ~

This place is beautiful from the outside and the staff is very nice.
Okay and they have a cool bathroom - very spacious!
But for me I didn't feel this place at all.
The area surrounding the Hotel is a not the best and the room was small for the price.
No formal sitting room with sofa & tv, its just 1 big room.
The highlight of this hotel was their balcony - I had a great view of the golf course and it was beautiful - minus the humidity.

I just had an hour aroma therapy massage there on Saturday for my birthday, (thank you erin!). We arrived at 10am, used their gym for about an hour, which was pretty nice. After that we took our sweaty buts to the Hot tub and relaxed drinking cucumber water. (oh, also, when you enter the spa, they give you some slippers, and a nice little locker that has a robe in it for you.)
From the Hot tub, we made our way to the pool, then we attempted the steam room. Sweet jesus! DONT try it. We seriously almost drowned from all the steam in the air! It hurt to breath, we couldnt see anything, so 10 seconds later, we were out of there! We decided on the Sauna... it wasnt on. So, being smart like I am, I dumped my water on the coals to activate some steam... nothing. Because it was ELECTRIC!! HAHAH! It eventually started up and we passed out for a few minutes.
We showered and made our way to the waiting room and had some tea and fruit while waiting for our appointments.
The massage was GREAT. Just what I needed. Erin totally dug her pedicure as well.
Over all, this place isnt a bad deal. if you make an appointment, you can pretty much just chill there ALL day in the spa. I think this will have to become a weekly event.

It would be great for wedding parties too! A great way girls day!
Im giving 4 stars cause the steam room hurt me. :)

Recently stayed here for a work conference cause we couldn't get rooms at the sister hotel the Diplomat.

No complaints. The staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms were spacious and the patio offered a nice view of the golf course. Golf itself was pricey, but it didn't seem to deter the constant line of golfers coming in and out of the place.

They also offer a free shuttle back and forth from here to the Diplomat. Nice - cause walking there really isn't an option.
