I tried their special this time and it was a Philly Cheese Steak Crepe.

It was super delicious, the cheese everything tasted really good like a Philly Cheese Steak.  The beef were strips of beef and not those paper thin beef like cheese steak  Wow this stuff was good.

    * Super BUSY during brunch hours *

Large portions of tasty food, but I have found hair in my food on multiple occasions. When I point this out to someone behind the counter, they just shrug their shoulder (I have a feeling this happens all too often).

Okay, seeing as I just dined here twice this past weekend, I figured it warranted a review.  Every time I go, I vow to order something different, but I have always ordered a savory crepe because they are simply delicious.  They are stuffed full of veggies, meat, sauce---which is not the case with other crepe places I've been to.

Yesterday, I finally ordered a salad,  The Cancun salad.  Can I just say it was one of the best salads every?  And it was humongous!  It was more than twice the size of entree-sized salads in typical restaurants.

In this particular salad, served over a giant toasted tortilla, there was celery, corn, black beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, cilantro, romaine, mango salsa, carrots and a whole chicken breast.  If salads always tasted this good, I'm pretty sure I would eat them more often!

Additionally, this is one of the most efficient places I've ever dined at.  You line up, but the servers direct you to a table that makes the most sense space-wise.  No matter how crowded it is, by the time you ordered, there always seems to be a seat ready for you :)

Maybe its because I've only had their savory crepes and haven't tried anything sweet yet, but this place has not made a mark on my heart.

The two stars docked is for over charging my credit card by $25.  Not cool.

During the lunch time, this place does get packed, but there are people there who help assist you which is very helpful. Time and time again, I order the Tuscany crepe, and never have I been disappointed!! It is a chicken crepe with pesto sauce, cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and magic. There is just something about it that tastes so darn good. The portions here are large, for each crepe comes with a side of salad and potatas (which are also yummy)

This place is bumpin'.  The salads, (you know, the healthy alternative) are huge.  They're big, tasty, and satisfying.  Unfortunately, they're probably a thousand calories each.  The crepes are savory or sweet, and always well done.  Service is good, fast, and pleasant.  But finding a table for a weekend brunch is tough.  Plan on waiting a little while.  The covered outdoor patio is very cool for people watching.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the first one to make this association, but why does Crepevine look so much like Squat and Gobble? Or is it Squat and Gobble like Crepevine?

Regardless, service, decor, atmosphere here are all what you'd expect from a Crepe & Gobble; I tried the Kyoto (marinated grilled fofu sauteed with spinach bell peppers, shiitake mushrooms and peanut sauce) with added salmon, and the Bombay (sauteed chicken breast with spinac [sic], bell peppers, mushrooms and onions with curry sauce).

The Kyoto was an amazing concoction of flavors, especially with the added salmon; the marinated grilled tofu chunks go especially well with the shiitake, although the peanut sauce was somewhat sparse or maybe even absent from the mix. The little bits and pieces of Bombay that I "stole" from my friend wasn't bad, but not quite memorable either; they perhaps toned down the curry way too much, because I could barely taste the cumin/coriander.

The highlight of my experience here was the service; the guy who served us had this sick scar right below his right cheek on his neck, which he explained to us as "something he got fighting while off work," which led me on a roller coaster ride of thoughts from wonderment to maybe even paranoia. Either way, our server was exceptionally attentive to our needs.

I've come here a few times, I'm never disappointed.
We came at 12 and there wasn't a long line (thank god) sometimes they're super swamped. We ordered at the counter and someone sat us. The wait was a little long for our food but not that bad. I had the crepvine club. HUGE and deeeeelish. Next time I'll eat half so i can have some room for desert.
I've tried a few of their other dishes and I'm never disappointed. It's a little pricey but the portions are huge. And there really isn't a cheap place in Burlingame.

Every now and then I get these cravings for some yummy savory crepes.

This one afternoon, my husband and I, happened to be in the area and decided to give The Crepevine a try.
I ordered the Tuscany savory crepe which had chicken breast with mushrooms, tomatoes, roasted almonds, provolone, feta and pesto. It definitely satisfied my craving. In addition to that, their savory crepe are served with house potatoes and mixed greens with a vinaigrette dressing.

The outdoor seating was nice during a warm, sunny day.

I would definitely recommend this place for some yummy savory crepes.

I've been here more times than I can remember!  Love the variety of crepes, and omelettes.  outdoor seating is great when I bring my furry friend with me.  Lines are long but move fast.  Great place to bring kids - groups also, BUT this place is popular so it may be hard to get group seating sometimes.  My favorites are the Pacific sandwich (salmon), kyoto & milano crepes, and of course the dessert crepes!!  Parking can be a challenge on this street so try to look for a lot off one of the side streets.

Great little place. The portions are great for the price, but if you're not too hungry, just plan on sharing something. Great variety on the menu, and breakfast is served all day. If you're staying in the area to catch a flight out of SFO, this is worth the short drive. Service is friendly and the patio has a great fireplace for chilly nights.

You give up being immediately seated and full waiter services for a very efficient restaurant model.  Get in, order,  the guy tells you where to sit down, and food comes out FAST.  I've ordered the  Kufta Kabob 3 times now and I really enjoy that, except they could definitely cut down on the sauce as so much sauce comes out dripping while eating.

the potatoes and salad they add on to the side of many of their dishes are really good.

I love ordering green tea from them, it comes in a mini kettle and I definitely will come here again in the new future.

I've brought several of my co-workers here and they enjoy it here.  some actually order the dessert crepe for lunch haha

This is one of a small chain of Crepevine restaurants in the San Francisco area. It is located on the upscale street of Burlingame Ave, right across from the Apple Store. This place always seems busy. The restaurant features booth and table seating (capacity about 100), of which part of the seating includes a street-side patio (heaters for cool weather).

As you walk in the front door the whole wall behind the counter is completely covered by a huge blackboard (about 10 x 25 feet) that lists all the menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. (The list is extensive!) As the name implies crepes are the featured items here, both savory and sweet, but you'll also find, scrambles, omelets, pancakes, French Toast, Sandwiches, Wraps, Pastas, and Salads.

We have previously enjoyed a number of their offerings here, including their salads, scrambles, omelets, French Toast, and savory crepes. This time we came for dessert! We shared a single sweet crepe because they give you large portions. We tried the Georgia crepe, with apples, cheddar cheese, brown sugar and cinnamon, and served with whipped cream and vanilla bean ice cream. (The Georgia I know is known for peaches...Maybe this is Russian Georgia?) We easily shared the large crepe, but a hungry person could easily devour this. The flavors and textures all seemed to go together with the tangy cheddar and sweet apples, whipped cream, and ice cream.

If you are in the Burlingame area for a while this is a place you'll want to return to more than once! The prices are reasonable, the portions are large, the food is creative and tasty, You seat yourself and order at the register, so there is no need to tip a server.

Everyone working here seems to be having a good time. They may look like they are all related, but they're not, except for nationality...They are all Jordanians! (I'm told the King of Jordan made a special trip to eat at a Crepevine restaurant during a visit to San Francisco!)

Crepevine is a great example of California cuisine, with a well-conceived fusion of food styles using many local ingredients. I particularly enjoy the Pacific, which is a Salmon filet sandwich. Many entries come with a healthy and well sized side salad and home fries.

The Burlingame location is my favorite. My wife and I frequently visit the Burlingame location, despite the fact we live in Santa Clara.

Service has improved since they began the practice of seating customers once they order. (They used to let customers seat themselves, which lead to unnecessary chaos in the dining area.) This is why I now feel comfortable with giving this place 5 stars.

Over the years I have been consistently underwhelmed with Crepevine

    1) Food is ok, portions are large but you need to have the salt shaker at the ready.
    2) I'm not a fan of the order at the counter, seat yourself approach (as I'm on crutches)
    3) Service has generally been crappy over the past several years.

I figure there just aren't enough brunch/breakfast places in the area and that's why every place has an hour wait on the weekend for mediocre food.

Having said all that - my daughter considers dining here to be a treat and loves their crepes.  So I braced myself for a trip to this place one recent Sunday for brunch and while the review on food remains the same, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful when the staff saw that I was on crutches and offered to seat us and take orders.

So thank you Crepevine for accommodating me and while I'm your their biggest fan I doubt  that it matters, the place is usually packed during peak hours and everyone else seems to love the food.

For some reason none of the crepes inspired me to get them. Instead I got the Fish Tacos here. First off, I love the fact almost each entree comes with potatoes. The potatoes were crisp and yummy. The fish tacos unfortunately weren't very flavorful. And they were heavily covered with salsa, cabbage that I couldn't find the fish at first. Either way it was a average meal, nothing to write home about. But I definitely would come back here and give the other items another chance. But it's a nice brunch place to go to, even though they serve it all day long which is a plus. I'll be back.

Great service especially when it's kinda busy too. Was acknowledge at the door while my friend and I stood with our heads lifted high to read the big menu. You don't get a hello in most places anymore

Is it me or the portions got bigger??

My ahi tuna salad (which was good!) was huge! Like Cheesecake Cake factory portion but for half the price.

My friend got Philly cheese steak crepe which was the special of the day for only $9.95. Food coma!

Would love to eat here again. It feels homey in this location vs. the Irving location in San Francisco

Have loved this place for their dessert crepes especially for so long but just ventured into their salmon burger territory and WOW. The cashier asked me twice if I wanted to forgo the roll as I'd read that they had sourdough, but i'm so glad i went with the pillowy goodness that they serve standard. Salmon came looking a little dry but ended up being perfect, and I always love their huge portions of salad and potatoes. Squeeze in a little ketchup and I am humming happily away!

Crepevine is one of my favorite places for "soul food" - the kind I am used to from living in Europe that is. Their savory crepes and egg scrambles are delicious. Their side of potatoes is good too. I had one of their salads twice and let me tell you, it feeds 3 people easily. So, if you and your group craves a salad - order one and share it - unless you are a rabbit and you live of green stuff. I have had their sweet crepes several times - usually the Burlingame which has Nutella, bananas and strawberries and that one is great. They serve it with a side of ice cream, but I think it is perfectly fine without the ice cream. I also have had their lattes and their coffee is smooth!

Also, their staff is great. They are always nice and super helpful. Granted, finding your own table is not so great when it is packed - and it does get packed - but their staff takes good care of you and they get you a table as soon as possible, and so far it has been very fast.

This place always seems to be really packed. We usually try to catch a late lunch here. Lines are long, but they go quick. Jenn W and I usually order the same thing... Chicken Schwarma with the Caesar salad. I usually sub out their house potatoes for fries and request no cheese on my salad.

Chicken is well seasoned and dressed with garlic sauce so that it isn't too dry and then rolled up with pickles in lavash bread. Flavors are solid, the pickles add a good tang and crunch to it.

    Definitely a fan! :)

I love Crepevine's in general....though not for breakfast as it tends to be on the pricey side. Ordered the Americano which includes a piece of toast, 2 eggs, homestyle potatoes and a small apple sausages with a coffee $9.50.  Hmmm...

I have to remember not to get the standard breakfast and stick to a specialty crepe so I feel okay paying for something different  vs a basic breakfast.

Be sure to get here before 9:30....as my friend and I were leaving everyone with a baby stroller was blocking every path possible to the exit!  It was definitely getting crowded and loud...

Service here is very attentive...staff checks on how you're doing, replenishes coffee, etc.  Excellent!

I came here for dessert and had their sweet crepe called Burlingame.  It had strawberries, bananas, and nutella.  The crepe itself was loaded with the fruit and chocolate mixture and was large in size.  The best part of it all was that it came with whip cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side!  On their menu they have a LARGE selection of crepes to choose from for every meal of the day.  The place was really crowded when we went on a Saturday night, but since most people eat and go, we didn't have to wait for a table.  The staff at the place were very friendly and accommodating as well.

I need to go back and try the crepes on their savory menu.  Till then, I'll update my review.  So far, I'm fan of their sweet crepes!

This place is hopping! We went there for lunch after getting my chipped tooth bonded!
I ordered the San Franciscan with fresh salmon and tried to eat half. It was great. A little noisey... I think everywhere we went  on this visit was at a place, not the best  to have a quiet chat & catch up but it was fun and fast and anything with my friend Terri is fun. We have known each other since we were four and the last year kind of slipped away so when we are together, there never seems like there is enough time.

My only suggestion with any of the crepes is maybe a sauce on the side.... the flavors were a bit bland in at least the San Fransiscan...

came here on a wednesday night and here's a quick rundown of what this place is like

    LOUD
    CROWDED
    popular
    nice...ish...?

the waiters were nice.. i wrote a quick tip about waiters getting water for us. dude... i thought places like these you get your own water, but the waiter actually told me that he could get the water for me instead. that was so strange.. and nice... i guess thats how it is all the time

    boyfriend and i ordered
    MILANO savory crepe
    and
    SANTORINI dessert crepe

    MILANO: 4/5 stars
while my boyfriend was eating his crepe he was really grading everything haha! he gave the salad a 5/5, the potatoes a 3/5 (they tasted and felt slightly undercooked) and his crepe 5/5. i think he might write his own review too but when i tasted some of it, i completely agreed with him. the salad AND the crepe was really good! the milano had like eggplants, spinach, mushroom, tomatoes, some cheeses and some other things. it tasted "italian" (says the bf) and it was definitely savory.

    i ordered the SANTORINI:2/5 stars
sigh... i should have really looked at the crepe description before i ordered it. the place is kind of fast paced so i felt like i had to choose a plate immediately and i didnt know what to choose. i knew i wanted a dessert crepe but i didnt want banana and nutella again (because i ALWAYS get that at crepe places) so i chose something that looked like it had alotta ingredients... WELL IM STUPID cus it had like walnuts and pistachios and i think another nut in it and i.. dont.. like.. nuts -_- it also had mascarpone cheese which i do like, but i dunno.. im glad it came with a scoop of ice cream because it made eating the crepe bearable.. but i just pushed it to my bf and he ate it all. (he didnt know i didnt like it though.. he'll find out soon enough when he reads my review) but HE liked it.. if you're a nut fan, you might like it as well.

so this place gets 3 stars because their savory crepe was delicious.. but their dessert crepe was disappointing. i will have to order a different crepe next time. hopefully it'll change my rating of this place then :P

A friend and his girlfriend were in town this past weekend for New Years and woke up late Saturday morning, wanting brunch. I had read some of the reviews, and thought I had been to a different Crepevine location at some point and it seemed well worth trying out. We were not disappointed! When we first arrived we were briefly daunted by the length of the line, but an employee came out and handed us a menu and assured us that the line was only 15min and a table would be waiting for us as soon as we ordered. He was even willing to go and get me change for the parking meter while we waited in line. I was pleased with the selection available and the seasonal egg-nog latte was delicious. I ordered the basic cheese and onion crepe with added avacado. The fact that the onions were merely sauteed and not carmelized did make me pine a bit for Ti Couz, my favorite creperie in SF that is now closed, but it really was an excellent meal. My friend remarked that this was his first trip to SF that he has found really good brunch options, so he was definitely pleased, though all three of us agreed that the servings of potatoes with the crepes were really overly generous (none of us managed to finish ours though we devoured the crepes themselves).

I will definitely have to come back again to try the sweet crepes!

I've been on a crepe-hype lately so I got up early on Sunday and headed to Crepevine in Burlingame, thinking it would be less crowded than the SF locations - WRONG. Coincidentally, Burlingame has their Sunday Farmer's Market on Burlingame Ave, so if you go on a Sunday be prepared for to wait in line for a bit. Thankfully, Crepevine has a super efficient system for dealing with the crowds - you order and pay while in line and once seated, your food arrives in minutes. I loved this because it meant I didn't have to wait for the check afterwards.

Their menu is really extensive. Aside from dozens of savory and dessert crepes, they've got pancakes, french toast, omeletes, scrambles, sandwiches, and salads. This place is also kid friendly. I noticed lots of parents/families with small children, and the staff was effficient in creating space for the booster seats and strollers.

I ordered a Santa Fe omelette and stole a few bites from my husband's Parisian french toast, which was made with thick slices of yummy cinnamon raisin bread. We also ordered a Jamaican crepe, which had bananas and a caramel rum drizzle. Mmmm :)

It's a good thing I burned off some of the calories by walking around the farmer's market!

Same set up as the Crepevine on 9th/Irving with the exception of this one being more "friendly" and "efficient". There was a long line today during lunch hour and there was a "server" to move you right along presenting you with a "menu" so you dont have to wait long PLUS they direct you were to sit.

They even pointed out where my friend was seating. Extra star!

Got the combination ($9.25) Athena salad (side portion but HUGE) and a chicken noodle soup (bland and dull).

DELISH.  This unsuspecting, always busy hot spot in Burlingame is a real taste bud treat!

Portions are large, flavors are well concocted and truly enjoyable.  I picked up a crepe to go, had to wait about 15 minutes for the crepe and my Jalapeno toast.  It was worth it.

Staff gets a gold star for their friendly service as well.  If you are in the area, or can make the drive, its a great place with plenty of outdoor space and hits the budget just right.

    YUM

Sonoma sandwich is excellent. The accompanying salad w/ balsamic vinaigrette, likewise.

This is the to-go place when you're hungry.
There are long lines at peak hours, but the portions are worth the wait!

I usually get the Pacific Sandwich, which is deliiciousss. Salmon + avocado = GOOD! Can't go wrong.

I'm not a big crepe fan, but the Florentine, Milano, and Tuscany are good savory (salty) crepes!

And if you have the appetite, must try the Santorini (very sweet, but so good!)

I love this place and wish one in Pleasanton would open!

If you're looking for traditional crepes, this isn't the plce (although I haven't had the chance to try the sweet crepes). Their crepes are PACKED with delicious stuffing, a generous helping of country potatoes (quarters small potatoes that are cooked to perfection with the right amount of crispiness) and onions and a balsamic green salad. You get a lot for your money which is also a plus! So come with an appetite!

Downside is that the place is small and usually busy. Same with the Oakland location-- where parking is even worse! But Crepevine is worth going to -- I've introduced this place to many people-- and I LOVE this place!

THIS IS THE BEST LOCATION TO GET YOUR GRUB ON!

After trying out the other locations in the Bay Area, I (and others that I was accomanied with) have come to a unanimous vote that the Burlingame Crepevine location is the best when it comes to service, quality of your food, portion size, and ambiance.

I've tried the Crepevine Club at both Castro and Irving and neither can compare to the greatness that Burlingame dishes out.

If you're pondering on which location to visit, Burlingame (hands down) is the answer.
