Nothing short of an amazing stay!

Shacking up in a little cottage was such a great escape for us, almost dream-like. Dare I say that I felt more comfortable than I do sometimes at home? The cottage had so many amenities. It kind of went above and beyond what I expected.

The staff was also really accommodating. Kevin, the manager, was genuinely really happy and enthusiastic in helping us out with booking or whatever else we needed. Quite a character as well!

The Cottages really made our trip to say the least.

Stayed here for 3 nights, right before Christmas, with my husband. This was our first time to Napa. The cottages blew away my expectations. Everything was perfect. Plenty of space, private parking, fire pit outside, fire place inside, HUGE bed, heated bathroom floors, soaking tub, netflix, and wireless internet. Additionally, we loved the breakfast baskets delivered every morning. Perfect timing each morning and delicious pastries. For 2 of the nights, my husband and I cooked dinner in our cottage and just enjoyed each other's company & wine for the evening. We were able to fully relax and felt like we were all alone. Staff was friendly and we met the owner one morning. Super nice guy. When we return to Napa, we will definitely be coming back here!!

Wow, this is our second year coming back to the Cottages of Napa! Once in a while a place is such a standout it's hard to believe that there are reservations available. Cozy, warm, charming sums up the atmosphere. Professional, courteous with great knowledge of the area defines the front desk staff.  The fresh pastries and delicious coffee delivered with a New York Times is a great way to start the day even  though I find it hard to leave the glorious bed. I can't say enough about this adorable place. Ask about their packages that include dinner at one of the fine Napa restaurants and wine tastings a some of the finest wineries.

This place is amazing--quiet, out of the way but right off the main road, with all the amenities you could want. We booked a king cottage with a jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and heated bathroom floor (I almost slept on it but the bed was too comfortable;) for two nights the week of our honeymoon in the middle of October and there was beautiful weather so we saw the stars every night from our very own fire pit. We booked the package that included a dinner for two at Ad Hoc (minus alcohol), and we had breakfast waiting for us every morning in a little basket (delivered by some sort of invisible (and I can only assume drunken) elf who also delivers s'mores every night). I really loved the kitchen and the fantastic double-long sink in the bathroom. I had dreams of throwing a party and using it as a cooler for wine.
We had a little upset with some (meaning, like 10) ants in the bathroom (apparently they also appreciated the jacuzzi tub and the skylight), and we mentioned it to the front desk, who promptly called out the ant exterminator and gave us a voucher for the next time we come back. They certainly know how to avert a possible guest crisis by being helpful, and they gave us some great suggestions for stops around Napa. Hopefully we use that voucher soon!

Expensive but amazing. I am just gonna say read Jeanette H's review, so I will just copy paste portions of it. We will absolutely be back.

"The rooms are extremely comfortable and have everything that you need. There's a kitchen complete with a fridge, sink, dish ware, and silverware. The kitchen comes equipped with also coffee and a french press, which for my coffee-loving husband was a huge plus. Every morning they deliver a basket of divine Bouchon pastries right to your door and they definitely don't skimp on the portions. The usual combo consisted of baked pastries, yogurt parfaits, fruit, and orange juice.

The bathrooms were really nice with a heated floor and I still remember the sink as really interesting! The beds were really comfortable and we really enjoyed using the fireplace at night while we were winding down."

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and loved it. We did the cottage pairing and it was a great deal. Our dinner at Ad Hoc could not have been more enjoyable. We loved the cottage- so cute. Loved the basket delivered from Bouchon, the fresh coffee, the jacuzzi tub, and the really neat fire pit outside our room we used to make our s'more treats.

If ever I can afford to make my own little vacation cottage, I would use these as an example of how to do it small but nice. They really are well done.

My husband and I stayed at the Cottages of Napa Valley for our honeymoon a couple of years ago. We stayed for a whole week and looking back we wouldn't have changed a thing.

The rooms are extremely comfortable and have everything that you need. We always had leftovers.

The bathrooms were really nice with a heated floor and I still remember the sink as really interesting! The beds were really comfortable and we really enjoyed using the fireplace at night while we were winding down.

The staff are really attentive to details. When we first arrived to our room, they provided a complimentary bottle of wine with a card signed by management congratulating us on our marriage. They also gave us a free guide book on romantic activities in Napa. Everyday when we came back from our daily escapades we found a complimentary goodie on our bed like Bouchon brownie bites (really good) or chocolate. If  you're wanting to wind down with a good movie too, the office has a library of DVDs you can borrow for free. If you're looking for a bike ride as well, they can help manage rentals for you.

The management and owners are really anxious to giving you the best experience possible. When my husband booked our room and related to the manager that it was our honeymoon they gave us a night free! In addition, when we left we received a coupon good for two years if we were ever to come back. The owner Mike is also really knowledgeable about the wineries and can give you great advice on which ones to visit. He spent literally like 20 minutes explaining to us with a map what kinds of activities and wineries to hit up. All of his recommendations were fantastic.

The cottages are a 5 minute drive to Yountville to access all the gourmet restaurants and driving distance to all the great wineries in Napa Valley. All in all, this was such a great place to stay. My husband and I look back on our honeymoon with really fond memories because of this place. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Let me just say that i found this place via Yelp so thank you fellow Yelpers!
Its not cheap but it IS beautiful and romantic and ,as Jovanie called it, well appointed. Its just 5 minutes from French Laundry and other fine dining establishments. Its right off the main drag but its super quiet. Their beds are comfortable, the sheets are amazing,I wanted to steal them. They had every amenity you could ask for. we were drinking goblets of jamesons in the giant ass tub and getting pummeled by the air jets because i kept stabbing at buttons and refusing to read the directions. They bring you a basket with breakfast from bouchon bakery in the morning along with the paper. Its quiet, secluded and the people that work there are friendly and professional. we'll be going back
oh and best thing is, no 2 night required stay on the weekend!!!!!!

    thank you cottages at napa!

Oh, Napa Cottages. It was love at first sight. From the informal, friendly check-in to the arrival at our extremely private and completely luxurious cottage, we were instant fans.

We stayed in cottage #4, and couldn't have been more pleased. Private outdoor fire pit with seating, a porch complete with a table and chairs and a porch swing, and a jaw-droppingly romantic interior that still makes me misty. The cottage has a large seating area with comfy sofas and chairs, a small kitchen with every amenity you could ask for (including fresh, pre ground coffee in the fridge along with the option of a standard coffee maker or French press), a complimentary bottle of tasty chardonnay already chilled, an array of gourmet treats, and pretty much anything else you could ask for.

Breakfast is delivered in a basket on your doorstep every morning, filled with goodies from Bouchon (of French Laundry fame), including an array of croissants and pastries, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Another bonus? The NY Times is under the basket.

The bed was heaven on earth. California King with Frette linens, plush down pillows, and one of the most insanely comfortable mattresses I've had the pleasure of sleeping on. Fortunately, wine beckons and you are eventually able to pry yourself out of this heavenly haven.

Luxury doesn't stop in the bathroom, where there is an enormous jetted tub, heated marble floors, a large counter with two sinks, and an amazing rain shower.

Another huge bonus was the private parking space behind our cottage which made transporting luggage much easier than usual. We both looked back longingly upon driving away from Napa Cottages and agreed that we'd move in if we could.

We had the last private cottage. It was very cuzy and lovely. The everyday breakfast was very fresh and yum from a famous local bakery. We also rented bikes from the reception, which was very fun. The place is very quiet, private, clean and nice. Perfect for a romantic quiet getaway weekend.

As proof of how I much I love this place, it KILLS me to even see it on Yelp.  I want to keep this place a secret -  it's that good.

Everything Diana L said in her reivew is what I would have put down.  Just a few additions:

    - We stayed there for Valentines and loved how secluded, quiet and out of the way the location was.
    - We loved the daily breakfast basket with OJ and fresh baked goods from Bouchon's bakery.  The treats on the bed were yummy as well.
    - I wish it were a little warmer so that we could have started our fire outside, but that weekend it drizzled a little.
    - There was a little wine & cheese gathering that evening.  Am sure it was lovely, but hob-nobbing was not on our list of things to do.  To be honest, when we saw a dude in a saling jacket with big gold buttons boasting loudly with wine glass in hand - we instintively thought: uhm...PASS!
    - The cottages were convenient to most wineries in the valley.  We loved getting off the main highway and tried the Silverado Trail - that was a nice and peaceful drive.

Overall, thank you Napa Cottages for great acoomodations in a relaxed atmosphere.

This place is truly truly deserving of 5 stars; and if Yelp had a system in which 1 bazillion stars could be given, I would gladly give them.  As much as I would like to keep this place a secret for myself and my friends, the staff and owners deserve as much business as I personally can give them.

It is extremely romantic, peaceful, and serene here.  Waking up to the singing of birds every morning and knowing that fresh pastries from Bouchon Bakery are waiting at the front door were just an added bonus.  The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.  Yountville and it's great restaurants (Bouchon, Redd, and Mustard's Grill to name a few) is just a few minutes away.  I cannot think of anything bad about this place except for the fact that my girlfriend and I had to check out and go home.

My wife and I stayed here for a 3 day get-away when we saw that they had a deal for two nights with dinner at Ad-Hoc thrown in.
When you first pull up and walk inside, the word that comes to mind is "charming", and the initial impression is only re-enforced through out the entire stay.
The staff is wildly helpful, and the cottages are wonderfully appointed. We would have loved to stay for a week, as they are set up as a beautiful home-away-from-home.

I loved this place! Ever since I heard about it, I have been dying to go to the Cottages, especially after reading all the wonderful reviews on Yelp. My boyfriend decided to surprise me by taking me here last minute and it was perfect. We stayed in Cottage 1 and it was so amazing! It was so peaceful and so quiet. Mary showed us around the Cottage and I was shocked over complimentary food but I never heard of that before.

Mary and the young lady at the front desk (whose name escapes me) were such perfect host. When we needed a taxi to go anywhere, they called the company for us and arranged for the pick up. The young lady was especially helpful when we had problems with our oven. Although my boyfriend finally figured it out, she gave a bottle of champagne on the house.

I only have two regrets about this place. 1) I wish I could have stayed at least 3 more days. 2) I wish I could have tried out that big tub.

We're already making plans to visit for more days next year.

Stayed here for three nights in early October. It was comfortable, cozy, gracious and the perfect location for a long weekend in Napa Valley. We took advantage of their bike rentals one day, which was a fun way to get some exercise and see the surrounding area more slowly. I loved how everything was included--from the delicious breakfast basket and newspaper, to DVD borrowing, and the private patio's wood fireplace. I can't say enough good things about this establishment.

I used to dream about living in the country before I realized what that entailed.  Well, this place is like my fantasy, without the realities of mice, isolation, farm labor, etc.. It's one of those places that will compel even the most hardened of them all to go Awwww.  It is romantic, not in the cheesy bed and breakfast with frilly sheets and floral wallpaper kind of way, but in a low-key way where everything is perfectly cozy, and you have all the amenities you need right there.  The breakfast basket that arrives (discreetly) at the front door porch each morning is packed with delectable goodies from Bouchon.  I appreciated not having to socialize with the other guests just to get my grub on.  I went with a few friends (so indeed, i only imagined it could be romantic), so the price turned out to be very reasonable.

What a beautiful and charming place. I found this place while searching for the perfect place to take my honey for his birthday weekend. I was looking for something off the beaten path and found it. With 8 cottages, this place is fairly exclusive. Each cottage has it's own outdoor area and quite  a bit of square footage. We truly enjoyed our stay here. We got the middle sized cottage. I love bubble baths and the tub in our room was big enough to accommodate both me (5'2) and my man (6'6).  We started our stay with a couple of in room massages. Overall this place is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic getaway. They brought us delicious pastries for breakfast which we ate on our patio while reading the morning paper. Nothing quite compares to the experience. I definitely plan to go back again for a rendezvous.

This place is fabulous!  There are 8 cottages - all incredibly furnished and luxurious, but at the same time, very cozy and romantic.  The service is great - wine in the room, breakfast delivered, ipod hook-up, wi-fi internet, etc.  There is no pool or restaurant, but it's hard to say that I've ever stayed in a better "hotel" room than this!

    Bravo!!

We stayed here for a weekend getaway for our 5th year anniversary.  It was perfect.  We loved having a whole cottage to ourselves.  It was soo comfy and homey and had all the modern ammenities that we could possibly need.  Everything was clean and the bed was so comfortable with such soft linens.  The weather was absolutely perfect the weekend we were there and we loved having the outside garden to spend our evenings at.  We roasted marshmallows with the smores kits they gave us one night.  Such a perfect way to end the evening.  The breakfasts from Bouchon Bakery were delicious and came in a cute little basket every morning.  I can't say enough about this place.  It is however a bit on the the pricey end and would probably be a place we will return only on special occasions.

i am soooo in love love love with these cottages. it almost broke my heart to leave....

here are a few of my favorite things:

    - your own private cottage with kitchenette, very luxe jacuzzi, living space, back patio, and indoor and outdoor fireplaces! - finding hidden details, like being greeted by san pelligrino arrenciatta, chocolates, and wine in the fridge, or hooking up to the wireless internet, or discovering two chocolate bouchons on my bed -- all complimentary!
    - being served subtly but fully, with a walkthrough of all of the cottage's amenities or having bouchon bakery pastries, orange juice, and fresh fruit delivered to my door step in the morning.
    - well thought out design, with heated bathroom floors, extra blankets for sitting by the fireplace, fitted refrigerator and fully stocked kitchen.
    - romantic without being cheesy, with your personal back porch and fireplace for canoodling, a free-standing multi-optioned jacuzzi for heating it up with your loved one, and lots of space to just be yourselves in your own privacy. i don't think my fiance has slept so well in a long time!

on a practical note, good value for money for all of the details and square footage that you have, and when you're in napa, it's a 5 minute drive to yountville and a 10 minute drive to the wineries.  they also do not enforce the 2-day minimum rule, and i almost don't want to harp compliments to keep this place a secret! from now on, we're always staying here for our napa getaways!

it felt like a more pampered version of home, which is exactly how the cottages stole my heart so quickly - it connected with the domestic di in me. heehee!
