Very trendy atmosphere with bottomless mimosas at $9 can be dangerous. If you have a large group forget about it unless you call ahead. You'll find many groups enjoying their mimosas way too much as you have to wait for a table longer than usual.

The food is good but would rather have a larger sized meal for brunch (I've never been any other time).

32nd and Lowell is a three-four block (and growing) strip of hip and affordable restaurants, shops, and bars located in the trendy and yuppy Highlands Neighborhood... just minutes from Downtown Denver.  

Located smack in the middle of this popular strip is The Coral Room, with some of the best service I have experienced in Denver yet.  

Don't be deceived by the outside, The Coral Room is located literally in a strip mall complex and looks more like a nail salon than a restaurant from the outside.  Open the door and you will be pleasantly welcomed by a warming and romantic decor.  Dimmed lights, music, and laughs fill up the restaurant like a soothing sleepy ocean at dusk.  Note: Make a reservation to get seated promptly.

I first ate and visited the Coral Room about two months ago.  After readying good reviews, I made  an online reservation for two to celebrate both my anniversary with my boyfriend and my boyfriend's new job.  I noted the special occasions in the notes when I made the reservation online, and requested their best table.  

Note - This extra request on my part was the best decision... It paid off and this is how:
 
When we walked in for our prime-time 7:30 reservation I was greeted by a friendly hostess who told me that they were expecting us and that they have been holding the best table in the house for us.  "People have been requesting this table all night long, but we saved it for you" she told us as she guided us to our corner booth table.  We were only a party of two, but the table was big enough for six.  The table overlooked the entire restaurant,  yet was romantic because the table sat in a corner allowing us to sit close and talk.

Our waiter approached our table with two complimentary glasses of champaign and wishes of congratulations.  To skip to the end of the meal, they hooked us up with a FREE dessert of our choice. I was highly impressed and not too overwhelmed with the attention.  It was nice to feel special and to feel that restaurants actually read the online reservation notes!  

Let's talk about the Coral Room Patrons on a busy Saturday evening... The crowd was young, but professional. There were a couple groups of women friends at the bar and small groups of friends, couples, and father/son pairs around the bar and eating in  the dining room..... eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrch (That was a car screech) Then along came 10'O'Clock and what happens to this diverse eatery?  The curtain that once separated the front door/hostess stand with the rest of the restaurant is moved to the side, a DJ stand is set up and all of a sudden, we got a DJ mixing some nice hip/hop reggae tunes.  The music was fun to chill to, yet not so loud that you had to scream....
