When I headed to Vegas from Chicago, I knew I had to hit up a California coffee staple - Coffee Bean! I was excited that I would be able to enjoy their caffeinated beverages while in Sin City.

However, the long line on a Saturday morning SUCKED. I must have been in line for 30 minutes. There was only one person manning the cash register and two people creating drinks. I contemplated leaving the line many times, but I figured I should suck it up since Chicago doesn't have any Coffee Beans. I was somewhat shocked with the prices. I knew Vegas would hike up prices, but I found it weird that they charged extra for getting an iced drink. My regular nonfat hazelnut latte cost me $5 - 50 cents more since I got it over ice. Oh well. It's Vegas! I want to say Coffee Bean was as great as I remembered, but sadly, it wasn't so. I'd rather head to Peet's.

My friends and I went to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.  We received great service and everyone was happy!

For the unique flavor that I ordered, they required that I order a large.  That was OK with me b/c I wanted that size anyways.  I have just never been required to order a specific size before.

We got our fix!  Happiness!

Note:  Some of the surrounding stores at the Venetian won't allow drinks inside.  That could be a good or a bad thing depending on you!

Note #2:  This is for the Coffee Bean located upstairs near the food court.

At $5+ for a drink, I'm half hoping there's a greenbird at the bottom of my soy chai.  I head to the Coffee Bean when I can't possibly drink another Red Bull or Strawberry Julius (no whip!) at the poker room.

Finally catching up on my work email here at The Venetian...5pm...After spending a sunny & hot afternoon schmoozing with colleagues in the pool garden, I decided to make a pit-stop at The Coffee Bean to grab a Chai Latte Light before heading back to my luxury suite (which, I swear, looks like a mini papal enclave).

My experience with the Coffee Bean in LA has always been pretty decent...it's basically Starbucks without the "star," but cost the same "bucks." Anyway, this barista who was working the counter here at the Venetian's Coffee Bean screwed up my Chai Latte Light order twice...the taste was fairly pedestrian...and the store looks like it was hit by one of the Venetian's gondolas that ran aground.

I should have known better and went to Bouchon Bakery for my afternoon jolt. Oh well, there is always tomorrow morning.

I had to get this review off my chest. More Sin City reviews (of more illustrious places) after I'm back home to the glimmering verticality of NYC...and I've got plenty to say...

I usually love The Coffee Bean.
Something's wrong with this one, though....  something's wrong with all the coffee inside the Venetian!!?!?!

I love a good, strong cup of coffee but it's either the water at the Venetian, or a plot to drive me insane, but all the coffee in the Venetian Hotel drives me nuts.

But, it beats the room service coffee, and every morning. I had a cup of Joe from this place.

For the coffee -  1 star.
The way I had it brought to me every morning while in Vegas by a wonderfully  considerate hunk of a man  - - I throw in an additional 2 stars... hence, the 3-star rating.  :-)

Yes, this Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is a bit pricey, but it's located conveniently in the Venetian, so I can't complain. During my week long stay at the Venetian, my friends and I came here almost twice a day for our caffeine fix. They are always friendly, it's only a five minute walk from our Venezia suite and most importantly, the lattes are good. A little too much ice sometimes, but always strong enough and satisfies my caffeine addiction. Thank you Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, for being there for me late nights and early mornings.

Oh Coffee Bean, Coffee Bean... what would I do without you?

I go here pretty much every morning to get my caffeine fix for the workday.  Love the friendly staff and the White Chocolate Dream (hot or ice blended).  With the leisure tourists, Venetian employees, and convention attendees all needing their caffeine fix, the staff manages everything smoothly and quick.  They're so popular that there are two Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (Leaves?) in the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian.
