"The YOGURT WAR IS OVER in my opinion, this is THE BEST DAMN YOGURT PLACE IN TOWN!! It just opened on the corner of 4th ave. and G St. …" read more »
This placed actually used to be Subway Restaurant back in the day. I've come to love Coffee Bean over Starbucks. Less traffic if you catch my drift. This Coffee Bean is no different from other locations other than that this has a drive through. The customer service here is ok. I chuckled to myself as there's this one dude here who aside from having long side burns and handlebar mustache, this dude can pass for Screech Powers from Saved by the Bell. So now we know were Dustin Diamond went after Celebrity Fit Club and his porn tape expose. I'm now kind of expecting Kim Cardassian to be working at Coffee Bean if her reality show gets off the air.
Note to self: Go to Coffee Bean, get Kim's number, go out on a date, buy a digital camcorder and leak our video. The following morning, go get checked from my doctor for any possible venereal diseases.
My favorite drink here: Black Forrest Ice Blended. Cherries mixed with coffee...hmmmm
I didn't remember this was a drive-thru location until I read Gothikrose a's review. I've been to this location a couple of times. Once to get assorted muffins for a business breakfast meeting, and the muffins were excellent. The 2nd and most recent visit was yesterday morning, and I had a very pleasant experience. I ordered an espresso mocha, which was good, and honey bran muffin which was really really good. The muffin was served upside-down on an oval plate with a fork.
On visits to other locations, I've ordered the vanilla latte or hot chocolate, which I prefer at Coffee Bean, but I needed the caffeine this time.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The table I sat down at had been cleared, but it didn't look like it was wiped clean. It only mattered this time because I needed the table space to do paperwork. Otherwise, I would have sat at another table. I sat inside, and the music was not the softest sounding and on the loud side. I would have sat outside on the patio, but then I would be distracted by the busy street noise and cars driving by.
There was a sign for "WiFi Zone", so I'm assuming that meant free.
Note: I am the type to drive out of my way to avoid going to Starbucks, unless I have a gift card or someone else is treating. I'm not against chains though.
