I know The Children's Museum has its own reviews, but the store is its own gem that deserves its own mention.
As seem to be the case with any museum I visit, I fall in love with the shop tucked inside. It's no different with this one. There are so many exceptional toys and gift ideas tucked inside the museum store that it's hard to point to one thing that we love most.
I do wish they'd stick to more of the hard-to-find things and stay away from the over-commercialized items such as Thomas the Train, though I see how much business they do with those items. So I can't say I blame them. However, we always flock to the more interesting stuff. Stuff like the rocks (our middle son LOVES rocks!), the puzzles, the puppets, the science kits, the Children's Museum themed gifts (T-shirts, cups, magnets, etc.) We love it all.
Next time you need a gift for a young'un in your life, don't forget to check out the museum store. You're sure to find the perfect gift!
