This is the place we always come to for special family occasions and their food is consistently good for a chain restaurant. With the exception of their Thai Chicken Lettuce Wrap, all their other portions are huge! You also can't go wrong with the abundance of cheesecakes!

If your idea of a nice meal out is Corporate food at its most refined, not in a good way, then have I got a suggestion for you! The Cheesecake Factory with its hard gleaming surfaces serves Robofood.
I will admit to being impressed with the facility itself. Everything was clean and pleasant to the senses. But holy heck when I got hold of that menu and its infinite choices and subdivisions, I knew this was not my thing. It is simply not possible to do everything well on such a large and varied menu. And OMG the calories! How can a kid's pizza have more than 1000 calories?!?! Adult portions I saw had upwards of 2500+ calories for just one dish?! Even if I were not vegan, those huge calories alone would be enough to scare me. I did look up beforehand to see if CF had vegan friendly options and to my surprise they did, mostly salads leaving off chicken and/or cheese. That was fine. Sometimes I have to take one for the team or else no one will invite me anywhere. ;))) Far be it for me to be a party pooper!
Anyhoo, I saw they had a veggie burger. I asked the waiter if he knew if it were vegan and if not, why not. He was not sure and to his credit went to ask. Turns out the veggie burger has FISH stock in it so it is not even vegetarian! I asked about that and the manager, I guess that was who he was as he did not identify himself, said there were plenty of vegetarians who ordered them. And that the veggie burgers came in that way from corporate and they squeeze them out onto the grill. I guess they come in tubes? I asked him, still in disbelief as I was, if those vegetarians knew that there was fish in the burgers and he admitted that not all of those people knew. Suppose someone has fish allergies? Why would anyone think a veggie fricking burger has fishie bits in it? Why is it not marked on the menu like they mark butter/cream options with a symbol? So I ordered a chopped salad with o/v on the side. The salad while plentiful and without the cheddar was edible it was nothing special and probably made from GMO veggies. :((( Our waiter was probably not used to being bombarded with such inquiries and he was a good sport ...
Well that is about all I can muster. I am still annoyed. I get that some people like TCF but it seems a sad day when corporate "food" mediocrity is the special du jour and those people really don't care about the long term health of the public they serve. Oh, did I mention the Fish in the Veggie Burger!!!??? ;)))
One more thing. They do not validate parking. And that picture that appears as the primary is not even this location.

I think The Cheesecake Factory defines America in terms of what Americans really like to eat and how they like to eat. Reason being is because....
A- Big portions--- Nothing here is the size of a golf ball. Even the lemon wedges they give you for water are bigger.
B- Big Menus--- Looking at the menu here is like reading the Koran.
C- Big Seats---- A booth at Cheesecake factory that is normally able to fit 4 people in typical restaurants can fit 6-8 people.
D- Fancy / Suburbia classy atmosphere- Outside of big cities like NYC and DC, people flock to Cheesecake factory no matter how hot it is, how cold it is outside, how bad the economy is to enjoy these 5000 calorie desserts and 3000 calorie penne while they are with their date/ loved ones/
C- Not a pretentious place- It may be very " White" this place, but you can see all walks of life dining here especially this location in White plains.
P.S this location doesn't have free parking so either you walk here from the train or just suck it up.
Came here last week for a couple of friends. I haven't been to this location in years since I am a city boy and I am poor. Flash forward to last week my friend took me to a country club and after shopping at neiman, I decided to get some grub. Rather then eating at whole foods as always and being the fact that it was 11am, we decided to wait it out for the 1130 opening time. First time ever I never had to wait for a table and first time ever I waited for a restaurant to open up. muhahahas.
Ordered the Jumbo shrimp carbonara with linguine. The portions are huge. Oh my mother of god. If Kim jong Il brought his people to the cheesecake factory, no one would leave his country, because everything was just excessive. My friends Chinese chicken salad was like the size of a personal pizza pie and my other friends Chicken Marsala was hugggeee. Even though the portions were huge, the food was really good. My shrimp with pasta tasted very garlicy and the shrimp was well made. It was not overcooked and so was the pasta. The server and the bus boy brought us bread countless number of times as well as refilling our cups with water. Food coma ready to happen...
For a city boy, coming here would make it seem affordable because everything here is roughly 15-20 dollars an entree and the portions are big enough that you can take home for your next meal. For an average Joe who lives in the middle of Nebraska and has to take his girl out on a date, this place would deem high class or pricey. So It can go both ways.... BUT FYI don't come here on a Saturday or Sunday for brunch. The wait is epic bad. -

3. Overpriced food
4. Horrible decor
5. Annoying Westchester mothers talking very loudly

Louisiana chicken pasta (ask for angel hair and extra sauce)...best.
Floors, slippery and don't dress up when coming here, there were so many times when I was wearing heels and had to hold on to one of my friends just so I wouldn't slip and fall. SERIOUS LAW SUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN.
THE WAIT: oh god. The wait is ridiculous, they give you one of those beepers, and you wait. I've impatiently waited for over 1.5 hours before, I would've left, but my family wanted to stay.
Beers are cold, wine glasses are big. Too crowded though.
And strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu are good.
I would just rather support little restaurants than chains. -

I LOVE TCF!!! which is what my greedy girlfriends and I call it to be greedy and lazy :) Don't be a snob, their food is awesome!! The menu is ginormous, but everything I've ordered has been greatness. This is my go-to for girly dates :) especially during Happy Hour, $5 drinks and appetizers! awesome mango margaritas! Great entrees include Miso Salmon, Herb encrusted Salmon, Hibachi Steak, Pan Seared Salmon, Chicken Madeira, Chicken Marsala, jerk chicken and shrimp with black beans and rice and mango salsa...I'm pretty sure everything is awesome. All their appetizers are amazeballs as well, I love their avocado wraps (OMG). My bf ordered something that came with succotash (Thufferin Thuccotash hehe). It was the first time I tried it and it was lovely! Portions are enormous, especially for the prices (about $10-$15 for lunchtime and $15-30 for dinner? yeah sounds about right)
This location is convenient with all the stores nearby...it's right across the street from the Westchester Mall. However, the wait can be ridiculous. I mean RIDICULOUS. My family hates when it's my turn to pick a place to eat cuz I almost always choose TCF and none of us are very patient. There's a Whole Foods in the same building, as well as a Dick's Sporting Goods, but the beepy thing only works in the immediate vicinity, i.e. sit your ass down by the door.
I always feel like the food is worth the wait. ooooh and the brown bread in bread basket :) I love. -

I have been to quite a few CF's all around and I think they are all pretty consistent to each other. This one is alright and really no different from the others. It's just one of those fall-back places to go that you know will deliver acceptable food. Portions are large and the wait staff is usually friendly, unless if it's extremely busy.
The only downside is the $3 parking garage for anything up to 2 hours. That's a freakin' ripoff for parking, yo! Don't even think about trying to buy your $15 at Whole Foods to get your parking validated... it will only work if you were there for less than an hour. (Yes, I tried) -

Dear White Chocolate Raspberry Cheescake,
I hate you. No I love/hate you, but more hate you. Eating you for the past two weeks has led my grandmother to ask me if I was pregnant. When I told her no, she told me she didn't believe me and wanted me to take a pregnancy test!!! I hate to do this through the Internet, but I'm breaking up with you.

Like others, it feels a bit pointless to review this place since they follow the chain restaurant standards pretty well. So it's exactly what you expect from a Cheesecake Factory anywhere else in the country--except that the bartender will know how many fumbles versus interceptions there were in the NY Giants game. But I do have some pointers, so here we go...
I was hungry, I didn't feel like eating in my hotel room by myself, or in the Whole Foods cafeteria, but had to do some grocery shopping, so to the Cheesecake Factory I went.
Some tips:
On an average to busy night, avoid the first floor parking lot, once you get sucked in, you're stuck on a slow, one-way loop of people waiting for spaces and there's always the a**hat that takes up 2 parking spaces because they don't want a door ding in their luxury-brand car. Don't they know that just makes people want to damage them?
Park in the plentiful 2nd floor, I like the wide corners in the turns--makes me want to go drifting.
If it's just one or two of you, consider hovering over the bar until a seat opens. Much better than the 1 hour wait. Of course, put your name on the front desk wait list just in case the bar is packed with people watching sports instead of eating.
If you're eating here because you don't know where else to go, consider the smaller restaurants in nearby Tarrytown.
If you want rich, heavy food, you're at the right place. If you want something lighter, always ask the staff how something is made. A simple braised catfish will be drowned in a cream sauce just on principle. I liked the goat cheese and beet appetizer--very simple and served with walnuts, no sauce. Simple, fresh, and just right,
They don't validate for parking. -

Once a month, I work at the Westchester Division of New York - Presbyterian in White Plains. I work from 5 AM until 10 AM. As the taxi passes the Cheesecake Factory as I enter the hospital campus, I have to control the amount of drool pouring from my mouth while fighting back tears over the fact the this fine establishment doesn't open until at least 11 AM. I'll NEVER be able to go there after work.
Sad face.
So when I found out that my department's work retreat was going to be held at Westchester, a lucky case of verbal diarrhea caused me to say, "HAPPY HOUR AND CHEESECAKE AFTER THE RETREAT!" Best case of verbal diarrhea EVER. After seven hours of discussing lovely department matters, a mojito and a slice of banana cream cheesecake was just what the doctor ordered.* Nice to share this time and caloric consumption with my lovely co-workers! The inside is fancy, the food is delicious, and they make a mean mojito.
One star off for the fact that we arrived at 3:50 PM, ordered drinks by 3:55 PM, and they wouldn't give us the Happy Hour prices until the clock struck 4:00 PM. Come oooooon. COME OOOOOOON.
* - Wow, did I really just make that joke? Silly hospital humor. I'm seriously impressed with myself. I'm bragging about this one! -

I love Cheesecake Factory, partly because I am always there with good company and partly because the food there is delicious. Yes, it is pricey and the wait can be really long but it is worth it in my opinion.
Get the Red Velvet Cheesecake, you won't regret it ;] It is AMAZING. You will love it. Guarantee.
The brown bread is another reason why you will love Cheesecake factory. It is just too good. Soft and sort of sweet. Reminds me of chocolate just because it is sweet and is the color of chocolate brown but it doesn't really taste like it.
One favorite dish is the Bistro Shrimp Pasta. The sauce isn't too heavy but it's flavorful and has some of the best ingredients in it. Lightly battered shrimp, arugula, tomatoes, mushrooms in a lemon-garlic-basil-butter sauce. It was amazing.
Another favorite is...well I forget the name but it's a cream sauce pasta with chicken and arugula and prosciutto. It's so yummy! Sooooooo good (:
I'm going to have to go back for that Wasabi Ahi. That sounds delicious and yummy. I can't wait! -

I've been hearing people rave about this place forever, but I finally had the chance to try it for myself a few days ago. The place is huge, clean and pretty inside. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. We happened to come during happy hour, and even though we weren't drinking...they had a ton of appetizers and small plates for $5 special. The food was good, it came out fairly quickly, and there are a million options!! I'd definitely come back!!

We have been to this location several times, and have always had great service. We've eaten at the bar, and on the patio. This location seems to live up to the standards of other Cheesecake Factory's as far as food quality, and cleanliness. The only thing about any restaurant in NY is that they show the calories in everything! No one wants to see that their favorite slice of cheesecake is 1,000!!!!!!!!!! CRAZYNESS!!!!!! But none the less, a great location.

I cannot believe I have never been to the Cheesecake Factory before-I've lived in Westchester all my life!
Well, I am glad to say that today this has all changed. And, thank God, because it's amazing.
It reminds me of Atlantis inside-it's beautiful! (As are the bathrooms, just so you know.) We were seated by a lovely woman in a booth next to the window, and had the most pleasant waitress! Bread was great-the brown bread was really sweet and tasted like it could be made into a cookie! My friend & I shared the avocado egg rolls, which were amazing, and I instantly regretted agreeing to share. They were just . . . perfect, absolutely perfect. My friend thoroughly enjoyed his Thai Salad, and I went to town with my absolutely gigantic Thai Chicken Pasta, that I actually had to get wrapped up because I couldn't finish it. (I never do that ever.)
We were full by the end, so we got the chocolate truffle tower cake to go, which I demolished in the car, because it was absolutely phenomenal! And, I brought a slice of regular cheesecake with strawberries back to my momma's house, which was delicious because, of course, I stole a bite.
Ah, what a beautiful discovery! -

Cheesecake Factory (CCF) is one of the very few chain restaurants I actually enjoy. On a mall trip to The Westchester, we decided to have a late lunch at CCF. Usually the wait can be 45mins plus but it was rather quick since it was in between lunch and dinner time, about 10 mins.
We were seated in the back part of the restaurant and had a very friendly waiter. It took us about 10 mins to decide what appetizer we wanted to start with, and another 10 for our entrees. There are just so many choices.
We decided on the Buffalo Blasts for appetizers, they are kind of like wontons filled with buffalo chicken and cheese, fried and served with buffalo and blue cheese. Here is where CCF gets knocked down to 3 stars for this visit, one of my biggest dining pet peeves. After only 5 mins of having our appetizer our entrees arrived!! First of all we hadn't even made a dent in our appetizer so it would be at least another 15 mins before I would be ready for my entree, Second, the waiter should know to give us sometime between our appetizer and entree, isn't there a waiter rule book that says something like 5 mins between the time the appetizer is removed and the entree arrives. And lastly since we were seated in a table for two I was balancing my entree plate w/ my hand. We have 3 huge plates on the small table, drinks, appetizer plates and a bread basket. Just Common Sense!
My spicy cashew chicken was a bit salty ,the few bites I was able to eat after that giant appetizer.
CCF next time don't rush me! I dont want to rip and dip, i want to savor every moment of our time together and maybe cuddle afterward.Listed in: Westchester the Bestchester

This place is hugeeee. It's right next to the whole foods and walking distance to the Westchester Mall.
The food is good. I'm not going to lie. They have some good menu choices and not so good menu choices. The problem here is the calorie count which they display in the menu. It really makes you think twice of what you want to order. If the calorie counts weren't displayed...ohhhhh boyyy. the sky is the limit.
Their burgers are great, cooked well, and they butter up their buns. The green chile cheeseburger could be better because they didn't put enough roasted green chiles nor jalapenos. Miso glazed salmon is good. THeir cuban sandwich is good, their brunch menu is good. honestly, there is not much where i wouldn't order. The only regrettable thing is their pizza which is pretty tasteless. Their apps are great, brunch specials, lunch specials are all reasonably sized and portioned nicely.
You have to come here with an empty stomach because they do provide a lot of food, which is probably why the cal count is so high on some dishes. Desserts are amazing too. I love their cheesecakes.
This place also provides take-out orders and curb-side pick up. They can accommodate multiple large groups and are kid friendly.
This is one of the go to brunch/lunch spots for my family. -
Review from Rich J.
Well since I reviewed Legal Seafood I might as well review this place too (this is what happens when you are bored and drinking). Inhumanly long menu with many suprisingly healthy choices, upscale choices (tuna carpaccio, kobe burger) and they are made pretty well. I did have low expectations coming in, but I have to say I am a fan now..not all chain restaurants are evil after all.

Massive in every sense of the word. From the size of the restaurant, to the portions, to the calorie counts. Big, big, big.
And tasty too. Quite tasty. But contrary to popular belief, a lot of a good thing isn't always a... you know... good thing. For starters, after a meal here your appetite will be shot for a minimum of a day and a half. Which works out nicely, since you've likely exceeded your weekly caloric intake for the week. -

The Cheesecake Factory is really just a step or two above TGI Friday's in the ladder of chain restaurants. No matter what you order, you walk out feeling huge and disgusting and like you just ate 4000 calories (you probably did).
They try to fool you with their long wait, beepers, and so-busy hosts in black with headsets, with the mass-produced upscale decor and the ridiculous 20+ page menu, but like a wolf in sheep's clothing, Cheesecake always seems to be looking around to see if anyone's discovered the ruse yet. Well, this time, I did, dammit! With a million delicious non-chain restaurants in the world to go to, I think this was my last visit to a chain, ever. The food is heavy, rich, and basically why America is fat. The desserts are cloyingly sweet and leave you clutching your tummy in an overdose of "why did i eat that???"
I'll give Cheesecake the benefit of the doubt, though, with 3 stars, because with a menu so extensive, SOMETHING must be not completely over the top. And the Mexican soup we had was actually pretty good. But, ugh.Listed in: White Plains-- not so plain!

I really, really, do not understand why so many people are nuts for The Cheesecake Factory. Just don't get it.
An hour-and-a-half wait for dinner at a chain restaurant? Check.
So-so chicken entree arriving lukewarm (after receiving and sending back another diner's dish)? Check.
Toilet paper strewn across the ladies room floor? Check.
The cheesecake itself was creamy and decadent, but was it worth an hour-and-a-half wait? No way.
I think two stars is pretty generous. Whole Foods is right next door- I'd much rather fill up a couple containers at their salad bar, pick up some fresh fruit for dessert, and run home to eat in peace and quiet. -

I usually hate going to chain restaurants, but I absolutely LOVE the Cheesecake Factory! Price is reasonable, food - super large portion, wait staff (in WP, at least) really friendly and fast, good atmosphere and it's simply delish!
Everytime I walk into the Cheesecake Factory, I always wished I owned the restaurant. It is a goldmine! You can't make reservations and there's usually a 25 minute wait...up to 2 hours on the weekends! So worth it though, it's good to kill time at the huge bar they have.
Feel free to also seat yourself on the high tables on the bar area - we scored a seat there in less that 10 minutes of waiting and we got to watch the Vikings lose while eating =( My ultimate favorite is the Beef Ribs, you have to try it, meat falls right off the bone and it's tasty and tender.
I'm hungry. -

I don't know how to rate the Cheesecake Factory. I don't always get a great meal here... I love their avocado egg rolls, soups, salads, Thai chicken lettuce wrap etc. A few things I didn't like were : chicken salad sandwich, sun dried tomato pasta and their wings ( my friend ordered I just tasted). I do however like their cheesecake! vanilla bean , key lime and strawberry mmmm!!!

At the risk of offending the foodies who consider reviews of chain restaraunts, beneath them, I offer this for consideration.
I went here at 1pm on a Saturday and had an hour wait for 2 people. Ordered the Sunrise burrito, companion ordered an egg salad sandwich with a soup. My burrito came out and was literally a foot long. It was good....for lunch on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, and late lunch on Sunday. The egg salad sandwich had a rediculous amount of mayo on, which was not all that appealing.
The three stars relate to the economic benefit of eating here. And they have good bread. -

We'll do a compliment sandwich, hold the mayo:
Something Good: Location, location, location. Right next to the Westchester Mall and Whole Foods, Cheesecake has a prime locale. (Note: you will have to park in the garage)
Something Bad: They don't take reservations!!!!! arggg so annoying. And then they tell everyone the wait will be 10 minutes. I mean the place is pretty big but c'mon, there are like 16 other couples waiting. When they say 10 minutes they mean 20/30.
Something Good: The menu. My opinion is that the menu is very well selected. Being a chain they have to appeal to many taste buds. They might be stretching themselves a little thin, but everything I've had has been tasty. This would be a good place to bring a group of finicky eaters, as I'm sure they would be able to find something...and they have CHEEEEEESECAKE!! sweet.
And there you have your sandwich. Next time we'll have the crusts cut off for you. -

One of my top favorite restaurants! Perfect place to bring the family, a hot date or for a girl's night out. The inside is beautiful, the prices are really good for the HUGE dinner portions they serve and the desserts are WOW. The only negative is that it's so popular that it gets pretty packed on Friday and Saturday evenings..but it's def worth the wait. Waiters are attentive and food comes out pretty fast. The complimentary fresh, warm bread is delish! Crowd tends to be anything from casual to super dressy..seems everyone loves this place!

Review from Keejoo L.
Best place ever. It has such a eclectic bunch of foods, anyone you being here is going to find something that they love and will end up taking some of it home for the next day!
I wish that you could make reservations. Sometimes the hostess seems a little confused about whats going around and I am not just saying for this one, all of them.
They seem to be in real tourist areas, malls; downtown inner harbour baltimore, etc. but that might just be a generalization. -
Review from Winifred X.

I came here last night for dessert, parking is at the nearby garage (walk through the Whole Foods store), it's convenient but not free ($1 for 15 min. or $3 each hr)..
I ordered the new "red velvet cheesecake", which I wanted to make a direct comparison with CPK's "red velvet cheese cake". The verdict:
-- cheeasecake factory's version is thicker layers of cheesecakes in the middle, which is awesome if you want more creamy stuff. But because it's more cheesecake, the overall dessert is being served at a lower temperature, thus making the cream with white chocolate on top very dense too.
-- Personally I prefer the CPK version, with the opposite ratio of cake vs. cream cheese filling. Defrosted and served at slightly fridged temperature, it's much smoother in the mouth, which goes very well with the velvety moist cake part.. =)
overall, it's a good place to come to for an evening out in White Plains. -
Review from Paola C.
What bad can you say about the cheesecake factory... the cheesecake slices are decadent, the service is wishy washy, the tables and chairs are big and comfy, the food is massive, and well.... its the cheesecake factory.
The sheer amount of variety in this place is insane and you can literally find anything to tickle your fancy.... I especially enjoy their seared tuna on the new "bites" menu and their cobb salad which is probably at least 2000cals for a salad. The one downfall to this amazing menu... here in NY its mandatory for calories to be dispayed... not fun to look at how many calories or even pounds your food is costing you in your diet.
Tiramisu cheesecake, dulce de leche cheesecake and marble cheesecake.... oy so good! I should try some of the other desserts but its just soooo yummyto have the cheesecake over and over and over again with a big glass of milk.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. -

I don't consider myself above chain restaurants...so hey, I have to admit, I like this place. The boyfriend and I, after a day of holiday shopping, walked here from the Galleria mall. We arrived at around...hm...5:30ish?
There was a wait, but fortunately, it wasn't long for two people.
We shared a chicken quesadilla appetizer, which was actually very fresh, and garnished with amazing guacamole...though actually I've never met guacamole I didn't like...
My main dish was the Lousiana Chicken Pasta...which I could not finish. It was massive...but of course, there was cheesecake...had the Raspberry Chocolate Truffle, and yes, I'm still fantasizing about it.
All in all, a pretty good chain restaurant. Nice atmosphere, and friendly [uber-friendly] service.
And for those who think I totally violated my diet, we walked back to the Metro-North station. So it all canceled out. =P -

I love how many different items are on their menu. This is only my second time I've eaten at the Cheesecake Factory. I was neither impressed or unimpressed. They make an excellent mojito! Service was good and the portions were way more than any normal person should even think about eating, but whatev.
I'd go again and try something else. -

We had a great meal here! First of all, I love the Robert Mondavi Cabernet. It is so good. I've had it many times and I just love it. We also tried the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and the sauce on top of them is tasty and rich. The mushroooms themselves are just ok.
For dinner, I had the vegetable chopped salad. I've never had this before and I absolutely loved it! I got it with blue cheese dressing (their blue cheese dressing is better than average) but I think the vinaigrette would also be good.
The service was very good and I really appreciated our waiter's efforts. I was pleased.
I was way too stuffed for Cheesecake this time but I'm sure it would have been delicious. Unfortunately for my weight-control, I'm no stranger to Cheesecake Factory cheesecake :) -

It's a Cheesecake Factory, similar to every other Cheesecake Factory. Expect waits on Friday and Saturday evenings, large portions, and delicious cheesecake. The service here is slightly better than other Cheesecake Factories I've been too, but the ambience isn't quite the same. Better than some of the mall locations, but not nearly as neat as the location in Chicago or the standalone one in Pittsburgh.
One interesting thing to remember is that the calorie counts for all their dishes are posted on the menu. If you're like me, this will probably cause you to avoid something with 2500 calories in favor of something with only 1700 calories. The portions are huge so you should probably only eat half of them anyway. Besides, if you ate everything you wouldn't have room for dessert -- unless your Joey Chestnut or Kobayashi.
For a good laugh be sure to check out the total calories for a 10" cheesecake on their bakery. Love how the 10" red velvet cheesecake has 18000 calories, and what delicious calories they are. -

I hate the fact that they don't accept reservations, but the wait for a table is worth it. I love the food, the drinks, and the desserts. My fiance and I came here for both of our birthdays and to celebrate our engagement. I always get the shrimp scampi because it doesn't taste "traditional"...the dish has a very good twist to it. All of the drinks I have had here (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are good. The chicken quesadilla is GREAT. I wish they would make the dish a little bigger.
The only problems I have with this restaurant are the wait (I think I have waited for 45 minutes for a table), the dim lighting, and the fact that the waiters wear very dirty white sneakers lol. -

I love cheesecake factory. No matter where I go, what I want, I can find it there. Yes, there is often a wait, but I think it is worth it. The prices are reasonable and the portions are huge. The cocktails are also good! Definitely don't go here is you are indecisive because their menu is like 20 pages long!

This is the place to go for great food in White plains. I went there on Friday the 13th, yes i know bad luck day but it was great.
The place is at a prime location, it has parking and easy to get to from anywhere in the area. The Restaurant is Huge and well maintained. Wait time is 45-1 hour on weekends for a group larger than 4 if you go before 9pm. Food was so delicious, OMG i was full with the appetizers. We ordered the factory something...Its just a bunch of different meals from quesadillas to some Asian rolls..they were all yummy. The main courses were all great and big portions. I ordered the beef ribs, it was like watching the Flintstones cartoons and seeing how much they ate. Huge, just Huge (i now that what all women say to me - jk). Food service was great, very attentive and fast. they really earned their tips. Food barely took 15 minutes for it to come out and its made fresh. Price is very reasonable and well worth it, the total for all meals for 5 adults and a kid was around $175 and we 4 of us had drinks, appetizers and main course meals. Will surely go there again.
The only con is that they do not take reservations. -

I went for the first time with my friends and to be honest with you, I just don't understand the hype. Every single Cheesecake factory seems to have ridiculously long lines, but for what? The food is okay, but not great and the prices are high. The inside of the restaurant looks nice, but from what I've seen, it looks like every other Cheesecake Factory, so that's not really all that impressive. I do like some of their desserts, but I'm a sucker for anything sugary.

The Cheesecake Factory is pretty reliable, and by reliable I mean delicious. I just can't help loving my chain restaurants, especially when they are so consistently high-quality like Cheesecake and ::ahem:: PF Changs. By high quality I mean you walk in and your food tastes delicious. So calm down, foodie douchebags. Although they put the calories of each dish on the menu... wow. That will just make you want to slit your wrists right then and there. I almost always get the Chinese Chicken salad... I've been ordering this bad boy since I first started going to the CF in 4th grade when it opened at the John Hancock Center and read about it in the Chicago Tribune and made my mom take me (I was a weird child). It is always amazing, huge and even tastes good the next day. And even though I don't like white chocolate... the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake is the BEST one on the menu. Seriously... I have tried a lot of them. I am GLAD we don't have a CF in NYC because I would spend way too much time and money there (for real, the wait on Saturday night was literally 2 hours long....and worth every minute).
